The manager was very helpful. I wanted to get the new flavor of Gatorade but I couldn’t find it. She found it for me and was really nice about me missing it. It was nice to see someone helping me and care about what I was looking for. Side note: she had proper mask usage which obviously made me happy as I have asthma and always mask up and notice when those don’t. Thank you Amber for your help!

Very nice small truck stop in that area.. couple fuel pumps and parking but limited to two only hours.. lots of hot food to choose(but watch out cause some of them only hot outside and nasty inside.. I just had mozzarella sticks and they were raw and unfresh inside) and different coffee flavors.. very nice and clean bathrooms

Great little stop for a bite to eat an get fresh coffee or food. Staff here goes above and beyond what you would expect to please the customer. The parking issue has nothing to do with them. Thats a city deal which I think is bs so you cant fault them for the cities stupidity on how they treat truck drivers. I had no issue with PD and they do check the lot. But never bothered me at all. So might just be a few bad cops who dont like trucks. Recommend you do stop an try there food its great.. 👍👍👍👍👍🚛🚚🛑 Trucker Approved....

I asked for cigarettes Newport SHORT & they gave me Newport LONG!! Sadly I didn’t notice until I was home. I live almost 2 hours away from that gas station and am only around there on weekends, I went in this weekend and asked to exchange them. All of the packets were unopen and still sealed with plastic. The woman DON that works there was giving me attitude and told me to wait an hour and a half for the manager to arrive. No one is going to wait that long. Once I got home I called and the manager AMBER was also very rude and unprofessional. She said it was MY fault for not checking the product even though THEY gave me the wrong ones! So disappointed I lost $70 worth of cigarettes and they didn’t even try to help me. They need to accept their mistakes and learn responsibility. They lost a loyal customer. Never stopping at that gas station again.

This could be a very nice place IF THE STAFF CARED. I watched 5 employees behind and around the cashier station doing nothing but talking. I heard one employee tell another that she only gets paid to work behind the counter and she doesnt have to do anything out on the floor. Well ok every place I ever worked if you werent busy you should be doing SOMETHING!! The rugs, floors, bathrooms all needed cleaning. The day manager was dealing with vendors but not MANAGING his employees. Out side ground had trash all in the bushes and perimeter. I no truckers can be pigs BUT you should still keep your grounds clean.

Worst place for shopping! BE AWARE AT WHAT YOU PURCHASE!!! A Spanish cashier. She charge me for 3 packs of Marlboro and she sell me only too . I needed the intervention of manager to fix up the issue. Is not for first time when this lady overcharged customers!!

I had a bad experience this morning with a lady cashier she was very rude i ask her to put 20$ on a pump and she put it in another pump and she didnt wanted to fix it she just walked away.. if they dont want that job find another job ... good thing that i talked to the person that was filling in that pump and he paid my pump

Nice place. No showers and posted 2h truck parking only! I was a witness how a local cop passed by any single truck and check the plates and probably the time they were there. Very stupid intersection when you coming from South on IL-83 you do not have room to make a right turn! Be very careful! You going to use oncoming traffic lane or will hit the curb and even the lights pol! NO LEFT TURN IS ALLOWED,WHEN YOU LEAVE THE TRUCK STOP!!!!Just updated. A year after the review above. 02/14/19 . The same. The police is still around and taking the plates info. I feel as a criminal!!!

I love this Thorntons location and will go completely out of my way just to go there. Always the freshest coffee, fresh hot snacks, always fully staffed and very customer service oriented people.Restrooms are immaculate, store & coolers clean and stocked as well as outside grounds & fuel pump areas are always litter free and the gas pumps are maintained.Great service & great prices & a fantastic rewards system are just a few of the reasons I come here.

Night attendant was rude. I purchased 25 dollars worth of items and I have one hand because I’m disabled and I couldn’t even get the lady to bag my items for me.

Came in there out of hours, it says 1 hour maximum parking but I did a 10 no problems. Good place but weak coffee, light brown warm water.

Thorntons is my go to gas station. Theyre the only gas station that offers unleaded 25 which is a little bit cheaper than regular unleaded and I find that it burns the same. Its also a really quick stop to pick up anything that you need including a gas station grab meal and their food is decent. My biggest thing is that the bathrooms are always clean I have never been to a Thorntons with a dirty bathroom.

Mens restroom is closed for cleaning. In the matter of fact,no one is cleaning this restroom out! I stood by it for 20 minutes.Today is 5/30/20 7:45 am there is no coffee at all!!!!

If you want inexpensive gasoline you’ll come here, period.Place is nice, clean, friendly, with a variety or things to eat while on the road, washrooms. Recommend it!

Truck stops are hard to find around here, was thankful to find this just down the block from where I had to pick up. very clean, staff was friendly and they have a nice selection of foods and coffees even have flavored syrups and whipped cream. Says two hour max parking, I was here 4 but they didnt say anything.

I love Thornton’s! This intersection has 4 gas stations, one on each corner, and I refuse to go to the other stations. Thornton’s has the best prices, best store, best bathrooms, and best service! Do not go to Shell, BP, or “Fas Fuel” on the other corners!

I used to buy natural spring water from here in those pink 24 packs - they stopped selling those and now all they have is the bad tasting Niagara brand - this is plain faucet water processed through reverse osmosis. At least they could offer some ice mountain or some other natural spring water.

What good is a parking spot, if there is a threat of a citation. In today’s world of electronic logs two hour limit means little. Couldn’t risk the citation so I Departed.

Its nice that they tried to build a truck stop, but parking is very limited. There is a signs that say parking is limited to 2 hours police enforced. Im giving 5 stars since when I was there no one enforced the 2 hour limit.

Very clean business. Priced right. Plenty of parking for cars and semis. 2 hour limit. Several nearby shops for repairs on cars and 18 wheelers. Certified semi scale nearby. Bensenville police always on patrol.

Good gas prices with a giant convenience store which has a lot of deals.

Went in there last week and half of the customers were not wearing mandated masks and no employees asking them to put one on.

$0.69 for all fountain/slushi/tea up to 44oz that alone makes me come back plus that Strawberry Shortcake Slushi OMG if there was such a thing as heaven that would be it. Plus in comparison with pilots food prices Thorntons wins hands down. However the limited 2 hour parking sucks most of us that need to park must park for a minimum of 8 hours. Big down side.

The pricing is never consistent if you go to the one male. He overcharges every time and then walks away when you challenge hin. Last time i come here. He cou ln d be stealing so he overcharges to pocket the money. Not sure but he is the only one who raises the prices . I went to a different associate and she charged me 20.00 less. Something is not above board.

Only TWO HOURS of parking, thats if you can find spot. Also you can get a ticket if more than that, from the local establishment. On upside inside is nice, roller food, doughnuts,..... Clean mens room and store area.

Im very happy with this store Im a professional truck driver so I use this for diesel fuel in addition I also use it for my personal car I live in Illinois and this is right outside of Cook County so the fuel is always much cheaper on average E85-1.69 / unleaded 2.19 and their food services are phenomenal hot fresh made right in front of you

No way no how will I give out my ID with my fuel card. Cashier was so rude she told me to get out if I dont want to give them my ID to fuel up.

I go to Thorntons at least once a week because they sends me a 6 cents off put gallon coupon in my phone because I signed up for you, regularly is 3 off per gallon but they send me a coupon every week. Plus gas is cheapest on Mondays

They will ticket you for parking your truck in their designated truck parking spots. No matter if you just spent 500 dollars or more in fuel or made retail purchases inside. Avoid at all cost.

Do not use this truck stop. They call the police on parked trucks and vans and you will end up finding a ticket on your wind sheild. There are three other gas stations around that intersection that you can use instead. One star is too much but cant go lower than that.

The gas station is very nice and the employees are friendly; I get my coffee from here a few times a week. The only issue is that since it is a truck stop as well, the lines can get really long during peak hours.

Small truck stop. About 10 parking spots. Sign says 2 hour limit on parking but I never been there more than 1 hour so I dont know how or if its enforced. Not many other truck stops around there so its nice to have this one at least.bathrooms arent very well cared for.

The bathroom really smelled bad. Only reason why i used it was because i really couldnt hold it but the staff are rude they charge .57 cents jus for ice when pilot, loves, tas, and petro are free however over all clean store but the bathrooms was reall nasty!

Used to work at a warehouse next door and would be here after 2am. Always nice mannered people (who look tired and overworked). Always had donuts and hotdogs stocked up. cheapest gas in the area (especially more cheap than the thortons down the street). A no alcohol selling location too (just in case info).

Truckers, do not park at this gas station, they call Bensenville Police to issue a ticket of $250. PD stated there is apparently a 2 hour parking limit. The signs need to go up near parking spots then, warning drivers to not park.

Nice frozen drink selection on route 83 just north of Irving Park in bensenvile and route 64 just east of i355.

Simply there the best they have a good sense of humor they even welcome you with happiness you could be having bad day as soon as you go in Thorntons new things happens for the mind body and soul you just get happy.

One of the big and clean gas station for regular cars or semi trucks. Gas prices are always competitive and food choices are very good (warm and cold).

9:00 in the morning, 8 people in line, and 2 people behind the counter. 1 is helping customers, and the other? Hes straightening chew tobacco behind the counter. And complaining loudly about how the shift before didnt do it. Meanwhile all the people who stopped in and expected to be on the go are waiting in a long line. Its like this ALL THE TIME. 4-5 employees and maybe 1-2 actually helping customers get out the damn door. I hate stopping here.
