We went to Lundgren Subaru just to see what options there were for a new vehicle. The staff there was amazing. Josh was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were looking at and was able to answer all of questions. He was very attentive, patient and friendly. Josh along with his coworkers stayed late so we could go home with our new vehicle that night. We definitely had a great experience and want to thank everyone involved.

I had a great experience buying my 2019 Crosstrek. Josh was very helpful in providing me with what I asked for not only in my trade but my new car. The only thing I suggest is that you make sure you thoroughly look at the cars before signing. I ended up with a self-repaired rock chip in the windshield that I’m sure I’ll need to replace.

Nate was very nice and understanding and we scheduled a quick appointment to get my electronics in the car updated with newer software. Didnt realize sitting on the phone for 15 minutes just so I can only leave a message for someone. First time I ever called a subaru dealership that had a call center filter their day time calling. Either way, they are the closest dealership to me and Ill have to drive over there just to ask my question. Also didnt help that whoever picked up the phone, has some serious hearing issues. Not sure how she got Frank from Craig after saying it multiple times and spelling it out. Just a stupid experience and makes me look at the dealership funny.

Fair pricing, very friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. I went here after spending hours at another dealership and they service and kindness here was a huge juxtaposition to the first dealership. Good pre-owned inventory and they clearly take pride in the condition of each car they have listed. Nick Gambardella was a great sales associate who worked hard to provide all information that was relevant without pressuring the purchase of a car if it wasn’t just right. I would definitely give them my business again when I am looking to purchase another car.

Didnt want to buy a car out of state but couldnt find what we were looking for (a white Subaru Forester Limited) locally. Not only did Bennington Subaru have the car we wanted without a ton of bells and whistles (although the Subaru has amazing safety technology built into it), we got a great price from their Truecar internet deal and they gave us more than a fair price for our trade. Jessie was our salesman and was very pleasant, gave us a detailed orientation to the car when we picked it up. Whoever the sales manager was, she was very nice too. Bennington Subaru offers a bunch of percs including free oil & filter changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections and state inspections. They also registered the car in Massachusetts for us so we didnt have a hassle there. Lastly, they understood my wife was buying the car and gave her the respect other dealerships dont seem to give women. Very positive experience. I should also add, we have been long-time Honda owners and never dreamed wed switch but I actually had to drive a friend of mines Forester home after a bike ride because he was cramping badly and I fell in love with the Subaru. We test drove the Honda CRV and didnt like it nearly as well. Guess well be loyal Subaru owners now like so many of our friends.

Overall my experience with Bennington Subaru was easy and pleasant. The dealership is welcoming, bright and clean. My salesperson Nick Gambardella was very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. On my first visit looking specifically for a 2020 WRX, Nick had me test driving the exact Subaru I wanted within a matter of minutes. I did a little more research, but ultimately decided to go with Bennington Subaru because they had the exact car I wanted and were willing to work with me on the price in a very generous way that frankly was better than I expected. The Subaru financing was extremely competitive, and made my car purchase work for my budget. On my return visit four days later, Nick walked me through all the features on my car, connected my phone, and then got me through all my paperwork in about an hour. I originally drove about an hour to Bennington Subaru because they were one of the only dealerships that had the WRX I was looking for, but the quality of service, and pricing were so exemplary that I would recommend them to anyone, and will return when I need my next Subaru.

For the whole year my car smelled terrible because of leaking of engine oil, They repaired it for three times for different reasons But the problem still exist. I scheduled another repair for today, They cancelled it one hour before the appointment and rescheduled it at the end of the month. I am extremely disappointed at their ability to fix my car and their service. -Qin

I went in for service for a dead battery that required a jump after leaving nothing on, for my 2020 Impreza with almost 18k miles on it. I waited 90 minutes for them to tell me nothing was wrong and I should “take it for a long drive every few days”. No new battery or solution. Oil changes take at least an hour to complete. So pretty much the warranty promise is false and you should clear your day if needing any servicing. I will not buy another vehicle here.

Ted has sold Subarus to both of my parents as well as my sister. When the time came for us to get a new car, Ted helped me find the perfect vehicle. He didnt push too hard on a new vehicle either, which is great when you are on a budget. We did end up getting a new 2021 Ascent and love it. Fits our family great with room to spare.

I called Issac on the phone and told him that I wanted to buy a used truck that was listed on the website. He transfred me to Pete who got me approved and did most of the work over the phone. I showed up signed paperwork and was out of there in 20 mins. I have bought many cars over the years and this is one of the easiest experiences I have ever had.

Incredible service. Kevin Meadows made sure I got a car within my budget, and the owner helped me get out of a loan I was upside down on. Doing the math, I think they may have even taken a loss on my trade in, just to help me out. I LOVE my new 2019 Nissan Sentra. We test drove a used vehicle and called the next morning to purchase it. The person who answered the phone said she would have a sales person call us back. They never called us that day so an hour before they closed we called them again and they said to call them in the morning. We called in the morning and the vehicle was sold. The place looks nice and new but the people are not very professional to me at all.

Love Bennington Subaru! Showed up there less than an hour before they closed after spending the whole day at a variety of dealerships. Sal Caggiano was super helpful and able to get us the best price on a 2021 Crosstrek out of all the dealerships we went to with the exact specifications we were looking for. We went on a Saturday and drove off the lot in the car we wanted on Tuesday and we could have gotten it sooner but I had a scheduling conflict on my end.Highly recommend Bennington Subaru. They also have Free Donuts!!!

Today I had an appointment for 11:30 to get my Subaru Outback State inspection done. They said it would take an hour so I walked over to Home Depot to waist time(next door). I got back at 12:30 and there was my car still setting where I left it. They were just coming to get it. I was furious they had not done my car so I left and went to someone else and got right in. I had purchased my car from this dealership new and had my service done there for the last 6 yrs. Every time I make an appointment for servuce it seams to have an issue with every appointment. Dropped my car off in the morning and they never called me my car was done. Luckily someone was still at the service dept when I called. I just work across the street from the dealership. I will never do business with the Bennington Subaru ever again they have the worse Service department ever. I will make sure to let my friends and family not to ever go there.

When I talked to Ted Free on the phone I knew this person was different, he was not a car salesman. The feeling continued when I met him in the parking lot. He is genuine, patient, and wanted every detail to be right. He explained things in a succinct manner; during the test drive I was comfortable, and mostly, he was respectful through the whole process. He introduced me to colleagues who actually were my neighbors, and I liked that. And they were very nice.When I met the gentleman on the financial side, this man too was extremely patient. Patient, thorough, and confident, but in a really good way, and respectful of the process, acknowledging it was overwhelming. I was so impressed, I brought it back to have my clutch repaired. They really helped me out in a bind when my clutch went, and all the staff are friendly! Great customer service!

Worst experience EVER! While I cant speak for the current management, the previous management was nothing short of crooks! I test drove a vehicle, put $500 down on it and expected to pick it up at the end of the week while they did a minor repair on the heat-shield. The day to pick up my car arrives and I show up with $2000 CASH in hand to complete my down-payment and Im told the vehicle has been sold and the sales person I had worked with was apparently in the hospital. This other sales-person then tries to help me out and it was clear he was just trying to steal his co-workers sale. He tries to tell me they couldnt get me approved for the $7,000 or so loan required for the car I put a deposit on, but he can magically get me approved for a brand new Mitsubishi. First of all, if you cant get me approved for $7,000, how do you think $12,000 is going to work? Secondly, a Subaru and Mitsubishi dont even compare in quality. I was so annoyed that no one bothered to call me during the week before my scheduled pick-up date to tell me there was any issue with financing the vehicle I put a deposit on and so I walked away without a vehicle and had to wait almost 5 days to get my $500 deposit back. You couldnt pay me to recommend these people to anyone. What they did is completely dishonest and they are a bunch of crooks. Save your money and shop elsewhere!

Bennington Subaru has moved into a brand new showroom so new that most of their cars were still not moved in. Darrell Clairmont was very helpful finding a vehicle that I was interested in. He went out of his way to find the specs on my current car versus a new one since the inside dimensions are very important for the items I stow inside. The first trip in I wasnt ready to buy and he wasnt pushy- just explained what they had and answered my questions.

I recently bought Subaru Legacy and I had an added feature of remote start for which i paid extra. I made payment before one week of actual delivery date of car. I called them before to check if they got remote start ready before date of delivery and they didnt answer my call. They delivered my car without remote start and they actually forgot that my car has remote start. They never stick to their commitment. They took my car back and got remote start by the end of that day. And for apologizing they said they are going to give me all weather floor mats and they said they ordered them the same day and I would get them in next week days. when I called them after a week, the sales man who was helping me took the call and he was rude and said he has already done everything that he can do. Very bad service.

Horrible experience dealing with this dealership. My husband & I were looking for a used car for our son. We were shown several cars on the hill in the back that are sold “as is” we found a 2009 Honda Fit and agreed on a price. After test driving we asked them to check the ac since it did not blow cold air. The salesman assured us they would put it in the shop the next day to let us know if it needed to be recharged or if it’s a bigger problem. We also spoke to the general manager who reassured us that they would hold the car and get back to us tomorrow. No one ever contacted us we called them several times left messages with no returned call. We finally reached our salesman 2 days later, he said give me 5 mins and I’ll call you right back, never heard from him again. Our teenage son was so disappointed, he really liked the car and was so excited being his first car. My biggest complaint besides that fact that our salesperson was a complete scatterbrain and obviously the general manager has low standards on how they conduct business is that they could of just said NO to the sale of the car. It makes no sense why they put us through all of this especially knowing this was our son’s first car. The good news is we ended up finding a nicer car for our son at Toyota of Clifton Park and received great service from them.

I was a little hesitant driving over an hour to a dealer out of state, but boy was it worth it. From my initial dealings with Bob, the internet sales guy on the phone and email to Betsy at the dealership this was one of the best car buying experiences I’ve had. I did a lot of research and have been to almost every dealer in New England and I ended up buying a 2017 Outback here. I woke up one morning and decided it was time for a new car and ended up at Bennington Subaru. I am very glad I did. I worked with a great salesman (Ted Free) that was a pleasure to work with and would recommend dealing with him to anyone, Great sense of humor and very helpful. I had to come back for a couple minor warranty issues and working with Tracy in the service dept was an absolute pleasure and everything was taken care of quickly and professionally . Restored my faith in dealer front-shop practices! Firstly, Bob Morin and Isaac Simon quickly negotiated a VERY fair price over the phone with zero haggle. My wife and I arrived mid-afternoon on a Saturday to find a brand new building buzzing with activity...It is a Subaru dealer in Vermont, after all. We were quickly set free for an extended test drive and greeted by Joe Mancini on return. Joe proceeded to seamlessly plow through the paperwork and phone call to insurance, including transit plate for New York state, while casually engaging in conversation about woodworking, the days of full-service gas stations and flying powered parachutes. The final few minutes of the transaction were with Ryan Farrell, signing off and paying up with more friendly conversation. The entire transaction went off without the slightest hitch. We were in and out in just over 2 hours with a used car price that was more private owner than dealer. Thanks guys, it was a pleasure.Star and Mike

I drove my 16 year old Forester to Bennington Subaru last weekend because I was having mechanical issues. After speaking to the service department, many times, It was obvious that, at over 200,000 miles, my old Subie was nearing the end of it’s life with me and I decided that it was a wise choice to look for something newer. Betsy O’Connell worked with me to get me into something I could afford and met all of the items on my virtual checklist of needs. She worked tirelessly (and without lunch!) to get me the best deal she could. I am so appreciative of everything she did to help me. I also must recognize the service department, specifically Kelsey(sp?) who did so much research and asked so many questions for me about my old car before I decided to let it go. Thank you. Even Ryan, (I hope I have the name correct) who helped me when I brought my old, sputtering car in after hours on a Saturday, and who I also signed my financing papers with, made everything so comfortable and I was so impressed with his seemingly endless positive attitude. I Went to Subaru for an oil change and to get my weather strip replaced. When I got there they had informed me that they never ordered the weather strip. I asked if they could do an inspection instead and they said yes which I thought was nice.It took almost three hours for the oil change and the inspection. They said they could give me a ride home to get my new registration with the shuttle and I waited an hour for it. When I finally checked in with them at 12 from the waiting room. They said it was being washed and to give them 10 more minutes. When I was finishing my paper work getting ready to leave they said that the tech was at lunch and didn’t get to wash it.It was never vacuumed and the coolant and wiper fluid were both empty.They said the part would be on Tuesday and they would call me and when I didn’t hear back a week and a half later I called the manager. He apologized and said they had the part and that when I went in he would come out with a voucher for me for my next visit. Never saw his face and never got a follow up call. Normally I don’t complain and am super patient but being a new mom who is breastfeeding and your baby is at home crying because she is hungry is the worst feeling in the world. Super disappointed in this place.

Had a condescending and inattentive salesman (Ted Free), gave ample opportunity for them to set me up with another salesman, waited a few weeks for the manager to get back to me and still have not heard back...they made it clear that they have no appreciation for the customer and only care about the sale. Sad. Would give zero stars if google let me.
