Stumbled upon this establishment during a day trip. This is a large area of many various types of Antique furniture, collectables, kitchen Ware, etc.The prices were also very fair on most of the items in the store. There are many various nooks and crannies so if you plan to visit, it will take about 1 hour of your time.
This was a Great Shop- with some helpful smart staff- thanks Laura and Mary. Sad, forced into closure due to horrible greedy owners who skimmed off the operational funds and mismanaged this once thriving business. They gave No notice to their dealers who have carried them and paid their bills for last two years. Merry Christmas. They barely allowed dealers to escape with their merchandise no mercy, or consideration for the years their dealer partners paid the bills and made this a great stop on the road to Bennington.
I like to come here and go down memory lane. I find it very relaxing to roam through the many rooms and multiple floors with all kinds of unique stuff. The last time I was here I purchased some glass drinking straws...just love them. Never saw glass ones before. I have some metal ones but I like the glass ones better.
Easy to find on #9...lots of parking space. There are 3 floors of a wide variety of stuff... things many of us will remember our parents had. There is a wide variety of items to satisfy...jewelry, dishware, fine China, a lot of Pyrex, pots, tools, figurines...the list goes on. Iron skillets, toys, collectables. There is also a smaller section with new items...leather purses, cloth, tea towels, knitted hats & mittens & maple syrup!! There are chairs to sit on outside to rest after your search. Didnt find what I looked for on 3 levels but...Ill be back!
This place is HUGE!! It was above and beyond what I was expecting. My friend and I love to go antiquing, this was our first stop because it opened earlier than most in the area. We spent 4 hours without realizing and could have spent much longer. Jewelry, clothes, toys, furniture, household and more! We will be back for more exploring in this beautiful shop.
Packed full of antiques from top to bottom. Sometimes, antiques are just old stuff somebody found in the back of a barn and didnt want, AKA junk. But still, a plethora of interesting things to discover.
Weve been to a few other antique stores in the area but this one blew us out of the water. It had several of the items we were looking for. The staff at the front counter were amazing and very welcoming.
This is a cool place with antiques galor. When you walk into this place you will be there for hours looking through all the beautiful things they have. Nice place to get away too
Nice place!Very clean and organized. But, big, it will take you a least a couple hours. Very nice things though!
60 dealers and consignment antiques in a relaxed setting. Great deals on furniture and smalls. As a bonus they have clean restrooms and local information. Dont take the bypass or you will miss this center. I never go to our ski house without making a stop here.
Sad - closed! Many of the good dealers have gone to EAGLE BRIDGE ANTIQUE CENTER, just north of Hoosick Falls. There ARE antiques there.I was a Camelot dealer until a few years ago. I finally got out when I could not keep absorbing declining sales. Brian would not renegotiate with me about space, so I went to EBAC instead and have been totally happy there.
Love it there. A lot of fun antiques
Ive purchased many items from Camelot village, its a very unique place that will send you flying though the past as you check out their huge amount of inventory they have. I do have to say they can be a bit pricing on items at times. I tend to look around for a good deal before jumping at one item in particular. One great thing about Camelot, its never the same as you left it, their inventory constantly changes so even if youve been there, go again and your bound to see something new.
I usually spend an entire day here. Excellent for fine antique furniture. Noted for vintage telephones, coins, glassware, toys. Also a great costume shop/ kids pageant source with custom sewing available.
Awesome variety of objects. I liked it very much. This place is one I will definitely return.
We live 3 hours away, but stop when were in the area and are always disappointed. Very few antiques - mostly collectibles and vintage. Staff mostly ignores you. Restrooms are filthy. On the bright side there is plenty of parking.
We come here every time we are in town and are never disappointed. They always have an interesting assortment of memorabilia, curios, and decorative antiques. You can spend several hours here if you like to take your time, and several additional shops of contemporary craft items, keeps the attention of those with other interests.Do wish they had more furniture, books, and mantiques, so be aware in advance if that is your interest. Great collection of smaller items, though.
Today was the arts festival. We thoroughly enjoyed both. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We spent quite a while there.
This shop was a real treat! I must have spend 2 hours browsing it. I cant imagine this place not having what youre looking for. I spent too much money here lol. The shelves are filled with things I didnt know I needed and now that I have them, I dont know how Ive gone this long. I cant wait to get back soon to see what else they have. I definitely would recommend to anyone
I just heard they shut down yesterday. Just closed the doors right before Christmas. I have a shelf full of wares there and I have not heard a thing. Very unprofessional.
My son found this antique porcelain piece to give to me for Christmas gift. He said he looked all over for something special and got it $4. I’d love to visit someday.
So much fun walking through there, so many things to bring you back to a simpler time.
Great Antique shop, has everything you possibly could be looking for. Or that crazy little thing you cant find. Or just place to walk thourgh and find a souvenir to take home.
Lot to see, little over priced. Great way to kill a couple of hours
Awesome place!! Found a lot of great treasures! Cant wait to go back another time 😊
Well run mall. Varied items in all catagories. Well worth a visit.
Great place to walk around. You never know what you will find.
Found some really good deals, people were great.
Were veteran antique collectors/dealers. This shop didnt measure up to our expectations after reading the reviews. Yes, there are many rooms with LOTS of items, but the vast majority are flea market quality price-point items. The Stone House Antiques Center in Chester, VT by comparison is another large group shop that features higher quality items and is easier to navigate.
It was great. The girls at the front desk were very helpful. We will go again.
This place has so many different items! Youre bound to find something you like.
Lots and lots of antique and vintage items, furniture, and collectibles. Various price points. Helpful staff.
Where you go when you dont know what to get someone. It is a great way to spend some time just looking around.
One of my favorites..worth the druve
Lots of intresting stuff to see and purchase.
You can always find something interesting and you will not leave empty handed.
Great variety of antiques and other stuff
My favorite antique shop of all. Theres so much to see. Absolutely fantastic!!
This place has a lot of Antique s, some junk, some new. A nice place.
Such a great place with a large variety! Great customer service too!
Great and big placr of all types of antigues
This place goes on forever! Make sure you have time to spend, its very cool.
Great to browse and find hidden treasures
A great selection of vintage items! Stock is varied, well priced, clean and changes, so it is worth re-visiting!
Huge amount of antiques. They also have a good selection of Vermont specialty foods, souvenirs, shirts, crafts, maple syrup, and vintage clothing. A must see if you visit Bennington.
Love the twists and turns in this place. They also have a great selection and reasonable prices.
Cool place to look around for awhile.
Funky, rambling, creaky, old building filled with stuff from the past. Wonderful place to shop for that one thing.
All kinds of antiques and other New England items for those looking for the unusual. I love to shop here when visiting Northeastern Baptist College in Bennington, Vermont.
Calling this place an “antiques” shop is a stretch. It is more like a tag sale at the end of the day - junky kitchenware, odd glassware, etc. The staff is incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. When I asked to see something in a case, she told me to go stand by the case so she could see which key to bring. She had trouble opening the sliding glass front (the cases are old and decrepit), and almost gave up. We bought one item, and the lady who cashed me out overcharged me, and was put out when I said yes to wanting a receipt. This is NOT the largest antique center in VT. It is run down, unkempt, and a fraud. We will never go back. Oh - and the sign out front says there’s a cheese shop inside - non-existent.
Amazing ~ such a variety of items ~ brings the best memories.
Great store but wasnt a fan of staff
Such an awesome shop. So much to see!
Tons of stuff but prices are high. Well organized.
Went to the garlic festival here. Fun time.
Huge selection of Qaulity items. Very nice
Great place to find a wide variety of antiques, lots of floors to wander through, if you cant find something you dont want to buy i would be suprised.
Always stop on way from NY to NH. Seems like merchandise has not changed in 5years. Many booths kust thrown in with no care about presentation or the items.
It was a slow day for the vendors. Didnt purchase anything. It was a so so craft fair.
Great place to go back in time and find a treasure for tomorrow. Very friendly staff.
A very nice and beautiful place
Funny story.... we went out for a bite to eat for lunch and ended up finding msny trrasures here... and never did get lunch. LOL
Place is nice but needs an up grade
Doesnt look that big from the outside, but it has tons of items!
Was there for the Garlic Festival always a good crowd
Very interesting place with a ton of antiques
Theres a lot to look at here. Purchased antique Pyrex and other kitchen items.
They had a garlic feastable that weekend
Lots of good deals and fun finds. Come back often to see whats changed
Alot to look at and to see
Huge selection,worth the trip!
This place is dead and the business is going to flatline if they dont change soon.
Not clean unfriendly staff
Another good place to find old stuff
Sometimes figuring out pricing can be tough. They got rid of the cafe and wine shop.
Needs less garage sale stuff
Delivering 55 kegs..
No longer worth the trip. Nothing special
Lovely setting, wonderful antiques
There is so much to look at .it was like stepping back in time
We didnt find anything but lots of great stuff
Thumbs up
Other than being a large store, I found nothing special about it.
Lovely store
