Called to check availability of a pump before driving an hour to pick it up. I was immediately told they had several of the one I needed in stock. When I arrived I was told they dont have any. Dont waste your time with this store. If you want harbor freight products youre better off ordering it and waiting for shipping.

Who are all these people leaving positive reviews? I have to wonder. The employees always look and act like they hate their job, they never have the items they have on sale, and the place is just depressing.

Harbor freight has lots of tools to choose from. Watch to make sure you get a good product. Prices are good, especially if you use the coupons.

Smaller utility store located in an odd spot. Once every couple years I will grab something I need from them, but the place is easy to forget so not much more often than that.Products tend to gear more towards saving a buck while sacrificing quality. Therefore if you need something like a pelican case, go for it. Their apache cases arent much different, but way cheaper.Now... if you want a welder or some heavy equipment, I would weigh your options before purchasing that stuff here.

Dont go here for anything powered by electricity or gas. The other stuff is decent hardware but for the love of God dont loose your recipe.

Had a generator die was on warranty, they told me to bring it in, they trated it in for a new one, took excellent care of us, most awesome people

Good cheep tools live this place. Just remember with all cheep things can be made crummy but they do a great job balancing cost vs how well an item works. That is why I buy my tools here they were cheaper and if they do walk away as some say, they were cheaper so dont have to be mad

HF will not replace a creeper. They have failed me. I gave them my business because I was under the impression that their tools were lifetime warranty. Not true, dont be fooled by their lies. They have lost a loyal customer. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

The manager was great. As well as the cashier. What Im not happy with is the fact I have not gotten my online order at all. I had to go out during Covid19 2x and buy what I ordered. And have not been refunded my money.

Never step foot in Harbor Freight again, I’m sure I’m not alone. Called and wanted to buy a 800.00 air compressor from them, I have a medical condition and can’t wear a mask, ask them if I could give them a credit card over the phone and then come pick it up at the door. They said no they can’t do that, I offered to pay cash for it and they told me if I couldn’t wear a mask inside they could sell to me. That is poor business, I hope they are losing a lot of customers. Because when or if this gets over I am not going to forget how they treated me during this time. And telling everyone I know. I wouldn’t have even gave them a one star, but had too, to write a review. 😡

Good selection of entry level tools. Sometimes short handed on staff though.

Looked online for an item and it showed in stock. Drove an hour to get there and they didnt have any. They didnt know when it would be back in yet they still had the pull papers out on the display to purchase the item. Pull these when you are out of stock and keep your online inventories up to date. Pretty disappointed.

Website indicated several items in stock, none of three items were in stock.

They cannot refund $812.42 for their faulty carports. Manager Kayla is not customer service friendly and only answers no, no, no, no.I will NEVER use this business again. We have done quite a bit of business with stores in California and they have gone above and beyond with customer service.Bend Oregon store and this manager has lost our business permanently

I like Harbor Freight and have spent quite a bit with them. Its been a hit/miss lately with the staff if they will be exceptionally friendly or flat out rude. The 3 ladies were rude, and even stopped helping me to help another, when I was going to purchase my jack. The next time I went in the manager or assistant manager was very kind, helpful and went out of her way to help.

Looking online for a engine hoist and found one at Harbor Freight in Bend, Or. The site said this store had it in stock and I was in a hurry to buy one.I drove 45 minutes one way to pick it up. I arrived at the store and none could be found. I went to the cashier and ask if they had any and her response was we dont stock them here. that it...no explanation! just a blank stare. I wont be back and will not order anything online from them again.

As always I enjoy going to Harbor Freight. The trick is when buying tools at Harbor Freight is to determine what you can use one time and what you can use many times. If I was a car mechanic I certainly would not buy wrench is there because I depend on the wrenches everyday. If it was a tool I only needed once a month I would probably get it at Harbor Freight. Just like any good deal on this world you got to keep your eyes open.

I used to like it a lot more but it says what it is its still inexpensive the quality still kind of good but the customer service is gone downhill they think everybodys stealing from them they act like theyre being punished for working I dont get it if you dont like working there dont work there!

I always love this place. I have not yet bought a tool from here that I have not liked. From the beginning I was told buy the professional series hand tools because they are made of better quality metals and I feel this is true. I never buy the cheapest stuff from here but other than that I love this store. The staff is awesome and helpful as well!

Harbor Freight can compete with any big tool company. They have quality tools. Most people dont know it but they make 100% of there tools. Thats how they sale them at such a low price.Say you buy something thinking it is going to be good for this and that and when you get it home it doesnt turn out as good as you thought. Be sure and keep your receipt for this next one. They have a no questions asked bring back policie, just keep your receipt.Great place

Went to get nitrile gloves and masks only to find the stores supplues had been donated to the local hospital ( not necessarily a bad thing) what upset meWas that they didnt think to set some aside for those of us wanting to protect ourselves/families during these times. Very frustrating....

Have never had a problem before until the other day, I was called the store to ask if I can return an item that I didnt have the receipt for, they kept me on the phone for 20 minutes, they were able to look it up with my rewards card to see the purchase was made, told me yes I could return it get my money back, when in the next morning went to the cashier, a young man, told him what they had told me, he immediately had an attitude told me I could not get a refund, I ask for the manager, she came over with the same exact negative attitude, told me the same thing even though she wasnt there the day before so she had no idea what I have been told, she immediately told me I couldnt return it and get a refund just credit, would not say anything other than there was three managers on today before it could have been any one of them couldnt give me a name for any one of them I have my store credit which I will use and then never go back to Harbor Freight. I would never treat customers that way. If your not happy at your job, you should find another job, not be rude to your customers.

Gotta say Harbor Freight has come a long way. I have 2 tool boxes full of Snap on, Mac, Cornwell etc. and been slowly collecting the expendable tools I tend to loose often with good results. Also use them for some specialty low occurrence things that I dont want to spend a bunch of $$$ on to use a couple times. Their stuff has always got the job done and I have seen a definite upswing in quality.
