Called the pharmacy to get a flu shot. Cant get ahold of an actual person. You just get an automated voice message. The automated message says that for this particular location that theyre doing walk-ins for flu shots only and all other immunizations are by appointment only. I drive over, wait in line at the pharmacy and when its finally my turn Im told by the clerk that I have to set up an appointment for a flu shot online! I explained to them thats not what your automated message says. There was nothing anyone could do for me. I left very irritated. Obviously Safeway doesnt have their stuff together. Ill just go somewhere else to get my flu shot.

Easy parking. Carts are in good shape and roll easily. The aisles are wide. Shelves well stocked with everything you could ever need. Lots of variety in all departments. Easy check out with minimal wait. Staff very pleasant and efficient. A store to shop every week for all your groceries.

Safeway in Bend is the best Safeway Ive ever been to, very clean, very customer friendly and always ready to help.(With the exception of their hot deli food.) Asian food like the noodles dry and hard to eat, broccoli beef, too salty.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!My grandmother suffers from extreme dementia and she has the most difficult time in stores, but not this time. Mr. Devan was the most helpful worker we have ever encountered. He is a fine specimen that has the biggest heart and was very patient. He helped guide my grandmother throughout the store to help her do her shopping, as she kept getting lost and confused He was always by her side to comfort her and keep her safe. He guided her to her Uber while carrying all her things and helped her load her belongings into the car. He then opened her door and buckled her seat belt for her as she was not able to due to her crippling arthritis. Mr. Devan is the epitome of what it is to be a dedicated hard worker that loves their job and loves helping others. He deserves the world and I wish him the best. Thank you for all the help and my grandmother will definitely keep coming back because of your outstanding hospitality!

Our Safeway is one of the busiest ones in the entire Safeway chain. Despite this business, the staff there are always on point and do an amazing job keeping us all supplied with the things we need.The meat counter in the back is so awesome and their deli does a great job!

My favorite Safeway in Bend. We grocery shop at night and theres the sweetest lady whos so kind and easy to talk to and the best cashier of any store Ive shopped thus far in Bend. Kudos Safeway for employing a wonderful Lady!!!

Very hard to find products the way they have been moved around.The app is harder to find the product you need.The sale flyer for Wednesday came out but you didnt have the item on several of them.

First time going, visiting family and girls went for pedicures. Received poor service. Seemed like the young man had no idea how to give a good pedicure. I should of stopped him and just let the others continue while I waited.

Store has terrible produce and you’ll wait in line for over 45 min! Workers can barely stand on their own 2 feet. Whoever manages this store should be fired. It’s an embarrassment to the town.

Download the app tried to put my number in after giving my email and it told me that number my cell was already associated with another account. Wanted to get a spiral ham for 87 cents a lbs but could not talked to them at check out and was told nothing they could do to bad call the 1800 number that they did not even know. I did not but the ham for 3 dollars a lbs. I will not be shopping here ever again spend $100 a week plus another $300 a month on medication. So dont have an Easter Ham thanks to you. They could not fix it as they could lose money. Apparently they dont want mine.

Best grocery store in town with excellent prices on a great selection with friendly staff

I went in the store for only a couple things and came out with exactly that. I had an easy time getting through the checkout and the lady was the most helpful while ringing my things.

I have retinal/macular degeneration, and cant see to read or recognize faces. I ran my card last night on aisle 5, and asked with a please if she could tell me which one was snap. She gave a condescending look and said it was the one that said ebt snap. I was floored. I told her about my eyes, and same look with oh your serious. No apology. I left to cool off. Called the night manager and told her what happened. Told her I was shaken, and had to step out. She was nice, but never asked if I was ok or ask for my number. I started 2 weeks early to get meds changed over, and I ended up out of meds. 3 weeks later Im dragging a manager down there because Im in med withdrawal. Just like I am again. Thought we had that fixed. Its always my fault because it was in a different tab, or it ran out and they dont tell me. I have the app. Im in all the time. I have a ton of meds filled there. I have a chip on my bike because the cart boys had to put carts behind the bike rack. They moved my bike and it fell against the rail. But I didnt want to complain. I had gone to management several times about it. I ride because of my eyes. The meds are integral to my mental health. I would never step foot in this store again if I had any other choice. Ok he ave tried with exceptional patience to give this store a fair shake, and many there are nice, this store is creating a huge amount of anxiety. The people in my life know me as kind and caring, but when my disabilities are mocked by a cashier or my meds are out again, Im starting to get hurt by this experience.

Always really busy but always fresh!

When utilizing self check out, I would prefer not getting talked down to by the staff. I had my reusable bag on the scale and once it was full I was choosing to skip bagging and put the scanned items back in my cart. The staff member came over and proceeded to tell me to just remove my bag and continue setting my scanned items on the scale because it’s “easier for them”. Well, as the customer, removing my bag and trying to make space for it amidst my groceries I haven’t scanned yet is not easier for me.

I shop at this safeway almost everyday. Generally always have what I went there to get. Friendly and helpful staff, and usually move customers through the lines fairly quickly. I would recommend this safeway for sure.

Once I went here!! I dont remember much after my car accident in the parking lot because of the brain trauma, but as got my memory back I started to crave this cottage cheese yet again. I have to say thank you to everyone at safeway in giving me something that I can hold on to and remember after forgetting even my own family. The counselling and medical care has cost me a lot but this cottage cheese has pulled me through the roughest times.

This Safeway is great.. but it will literally give you an anxiety attack walking in. It is the probably the busiest safeway in the northwest. There are 3 safeways in Bend. Apparently this is everyones favorite. Everything is within walking distance so I understand it.

Its all about location for me. Being by the hospital Safeway is my go to place. Easy access. Always well stocked.

It’s a great place to shop. Great staff, wonderful selection and plenty of parking make this a fantastic place for some grocery shopping. It’s conveniently located and is on the way to all the fun adventures south and west of Bend.

My local store, I have to say the only thing have hard time purchasing is Hot Pockets for my grandson. Havent returned since the covid grab in March. Sad

If this is for the one off of 3rd by the Ace Hardware......I have to say the customer service is excellent!! Store is clean and pretty well stocked. I do wish in the fresh cut dept. they wouldnt skimp on the diced onions etc., I use to work in fresh cut at another store and we filled them to the brim. Also that whole shopping center is going to pot, literally!! Its sad to see, I wish the city would class it up a bit. Otherwise all is good!!

They have a employee named Percy that was rude and disrespectful. I understsnd that it is a trying time but that does not give him theright to treat people any other way but with respect. Maybe working with the public is not right for him.

Great store with convienant curbside pick up. The only complaint Ive ever had is at my local store there was a short tome, about a month or so, where the chocolate milk gallons were curdled every time I went in. When I brought this up to an employee I felt they just brushed it off. From the time I spoke with the associate I grabbed 1 more item on my way to the checked and and by time I got there the employee i had told about the bad product was already up front and bagging someones groceries. They didnt have time to of gone and even looked at the jugs let alone pulled them from the shelf or done anything to prevent someone from accidently selecting one. Not impressed at all with that incident but any other time I have had no issues at all and the staff has always been very helpful, kind, and courteous.

I live in a small town. That being said. Yesterday I had taken my Husband to a Dr appointment. HE IS NOT ABLE TO WALK SO I NEED TO BE ABLE AND HIM COOPERATE for me to go to a larger store.When I walked through the door it was like a kid in a candy store. Omg, the choices, the organization, it was just awesome and I only made it through a third of the store.

Safeway has done a good job in reinventing itself to offer a modern, high end shopping experience. With most products the savvy shopper needs and wants in an environment that encourages comfort and self confidence. This is the preferential, modern grocery store. When I cook I need Safeway and while in Safeway I need to cook even more. This is the ideal place for creative menu planning. Produce is where I spend most of my time and on the way out I hit the bakery and wine and beer because it seems that they have it all.This is just the beginning yet it is a great start for many successful shopping events.

Very clean store.Store was clean and well stocked. They would have gotten 5 stars if at 11:30 when we were done shopping they would have had there Chinese food hot deli food done. Only having chow mien and chicken done. This was not enough variety for my chinese food wanting pregnant daughter.

Pretty good selection but the aisles are narrow, not allowing for social distancing.
