Cart extremely well designed. Workmanship is outstanding. Outstanding performance on a very hilly course. Battery performance packs a punch for such a small package (18 holes draws battery down to 65%). No doubt can last 2+ rounds but my knees cant! Bought the 2019 GRi-1500LTD back in April 2019... So far, so good! I am extremely happy with my purchase! (On a comical note, the guys on the course have nicknamed her Myrtle) The cart is well built and of solid construction. It has completely lived up to my high expectations. I have a Gri 1500 Li Remote golf cart which I got in early 2015. I golf about 3 times a week and always use my cart which I really like. I think I have over 400 rounds on it. Over the last 4 years, I have had some minor problems and Dick and his staff have been great assisting me to keep my cart running. Usually sending me a minor part or giving me instruction on what to do to factory reset, or whatever it takes, they really support their products. Many of my friends have carts, and my Cart Tek, I think is by far the nicest, and the best cart on our course. Things I like in particular, you can go downhill at a low speed without having to run after the cart. In fact sometimes I use the cart to support me going down hill as the gears really slows it down. I like that most of the electrical connections are sealed inside the unit and axle and away from the water, so I rarely have any electrical connection problems. I think the third wheel is invaluable going uphill and keeping it from tipping and also go down over curbs, etc. The battery is great and has never come close to running out of power. It is also by far much more powerful than any other cart out there. I am a fast walker so going up the hills, no one keeps up with me. An overall great cart.

I think these golf carts are really well engineered, very sturdy and up to the task of getting around a very hilly golf course. I bought 1 for myself a few months ago and just had no problems with it. I play 3-4 times a week so I really put it through its paces. I have not had any problems with either the cart or the battery. It has no problem making it through 18 holes on what is a very hilly course. I liked it so much I bought another one for my wife. The other thing I really like is the wheels all come off very easily so I can get both carts in the trunk of my car (sedan). I was a little worried about that when I bought the second cart but it is not a problem.

Cart was packed perfectly. There was no way this package could arrive damaged unless a tank ran it over. Easy to assemble, very clear directions and it looked so nice I went out and got a better looking golf bag. It was remarkably easy to learn how to operate and control. Easy to put the bag on and off and easy to load into the car. I am not sure what took me so long to decide to buy itI have now used it for 30 rounds and it has to be.the best golf equipment I have purchased. I have the 2019 1500 Li. I have owned it approximately 2 months. It is a fantastic piece of equipment and the company is incredibly responsive to any questions I have asked. I have had 3 different electric carts though out the years. The absolute best, by far, is Carttek. The service, if needed, is spectacular. Best customer service of any company I have ever had to deal with.One minor thing I had to learn that all of these carts want to go downhill so on side hill operation you just guide it by hand. This is the best Golf Caddy ever! I purchased mine several years ago and last year purchased one for my husband. We are members of a very hilly golf course and it is amazing. Several other ladies at my club have now purchased the same Caddy and all of them love it. It is light enough for lady golfers to pick up and put in their car and is very compact. The staff and owners are very easy to work with. They even answer their phone! I would recommend this for anyone.

Reliability is an issue. Return policy is good but cumbersome. Cart when working is easy to set up and fun to use. This is my 3rd cart since January and have used it successfully for 3 rounds. Will be able to rate it better by May.

I have owned two different models of Cart Tek Golf Carts over the past several years. While initially having some problems with an older model due to operator error, my subsequent experience has been exceptional. The carts are reliable, easy to operate (I did not get a remote control model so to better concentrate on golf) and when any service or replacement parts are required, the customer service has been outstanding. I would highly recommend Cart Tek products.

I bought a 975i for my wife, we liked it so much I bought a 1500i for myself. She loves the simple design of the 975i and the lightness of the battery. After a bit of a learning curve I am having fun on the golf course with my 1500i, everyone thinks its cool. My posture walking is so much better because Im not hunched over pushing or straining my shoulder pulling. The remote takes some getting used to but the customer service is excellent and I was able to get the cart running the way I wanted.

This is the second Cart Tee I have bought. The first for my wife 5 years ago. The new model is far better with the motor built into the axel and the battery in a much better place on the main shaft in a nice basket. Highly recommend as everyone at the club with an electric cart is envious. Make sure you read battery charging instructions carefully.

We got a recommendation from a club member who owns a Cart Tek cart and ended up buying 2 carts from Cart Tek that same afternoon. These carts are getting almost daily 18 hole use with little to no issues. (If we have issues it is usually operator error). The product itself is fantastic, and the Bluetooth remote is wonderful. It is the customer service that makes this product so super attractive and I can only recommend should you be in the market to buy a remote controlled cart don’t buy anything before you check Cart Tek out, it’s well worth it.P.S We have since referred two additional club members to Cart Tek once they saw ours and they are now proud owners of their own units and super happy.

Ive been using my GRi-1500Li for several months now. The machine is high quality, rugged, and very practical. It is real stable and takes hills well. I particularly like that it is easy to operate either using the remote, or with your hand on the handle and your index finger on the speed control. You will find that there are times you want to have a hand on it when navigating tight spots or where there is danger, but there are times when the freedom of walking unimpeded is quite nice. I would like a few things improved, particularly a timer on the charger, a better cup holder, and a more practical scorecard holder. For the money, this is a great cart.

The 1500Li caddy is working well for me. Im very happy with the cart itself; I am rating 4 stars because I have found the remote control to be very flaky. It just stops working--maybe 2 or 3 times during a round. Sometimes the command from the remote just doesnt work, and sometimes the cart stops shortly after accepting a command. Cart Tee Customer Service asked me to check the voltage on my batteries, and when that was okay, they sent me a new remote control. The cart itself handles rough and hilly terrain beautifully. It tracks straight (after a very small adjustment). It hauls my Sun Mountain bag easily. I maintain a light bag, so I add some weight to the bottom-front pocket on my bag, and that really helps the tracking. I replaced the remote control during the winter, so I have not been able to really put it through its paces. If it proves reliable, I would up my rating to 5 stars.

Purchased a 2019 GRi-1500Li a few months ago and love it! It was delivered the day after I ordered it. Customer Service is top notch! After an unscheduled dip in a creek, they walked me thru troubleshooting and had parts to me the next day and I was back up and running. This cart makes walking any course a pleasure - including Chambers Bay! Well worth the investment.

Great performance and great support. Called a few times for help and Dick went above and beyond in assistance.I recently had 2 knees replaced and had given up any thoughts of walking the golf course again. I had always played better when I walked and had yearned to have that opportunity again.Last spring I invested in a Carttek motorized cart and after a few weeks I was once again able to walk 18holes on the the course and at 77 years of age my game and my health improved. My golfing companions were so impressed that some of them made a similar investment with Carttek and they are now enjoying the benefits of walking the golf course.

I have obtained a Carttek remote control Caddy 1200 device since 2011. This was in the early stage of release for Carttek. Initially, we experienced some issues with the remote capabilities, however working with Dick and his team we worked out the issues rapidly. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. My friends purchased the newest version of the 1200 remote and and are very happy with their purchase. All in all, I would recommend a Carttek purchase.

I am going on four years now with my 950 Li. The lithium battery is still going strong. Well worth the extra money. If you have your sticks and cart in the trunk of your car, you will really appreciate how lightweight this battery is. It will save your back for sure. I had some problems with the first cart I bought, but Dick and Robyn did everything they could to make me happy. You will not be disappointed in my opinion. The newer models appear to have been redesigned for extra durability. I would love to have one of the newer models but, it doesn’t look like I’ll have to buy one just yet as mine is still rolling just fine. Nice job Dick and Cart-Tec. I will buy another cart from you if I ever need one, and thanks for all your help three years ago.

Golf is fun again! Sharp looking cart, quiet and powerful. Battery easily powers through the entire round. The hilly course I play would make a mountain goat cringe, my Cart-Tek takes it on with ease. Ready to start my fourth golf season, still looks and runs new. Worth the money!

I have been using the 950 Li since 2015. It is used mostly on a very hilly course and has preformed very well. As with all mechanical things, parts do were out, Carttek has always responded quickly and I have had no downtime. It is still the original battery and I use it 3-5 times a week for 4 or 5 months a year. I would recommend this cart. If I were to replace it the 975 Li looks really good.

I purchased my 1500-Li two seasons ago and it has changed my game. I’m not only in the best shape walking but my game has improved too. I have over 250 rounds on it and typically put over 100 rounds per year. It has performed without a hitch. The battery has worked flawlessly and I’ve had several 36 hole days on it. Customer service is superb and Mark has always been there with answers to my questions or new scorecard holders to try out promptly in the mail. Bought first cart 2012 = very satisfied with performance and also with service from company. Bought second cart 2017 - newer model - love it. Now my husband has the original - still running like a dream - and I have the new one. I have an auto-immune disease that affects my limbs and this cart helps me keep walking 18 holes. I have had this cart for 5 years. It has faithfully lugged my very heavy bag up and down my hilly course with no complaints. I walk to and from my house to the clubhouse with the cart. No problems with electrical power for the equivalent of 20 holes of golf. Over the years I have modified it with a battery holder and an insulated bag to hold cold drinks and sandwiches.Over time things have broken, but Cart Tek has always had replacement parts available and excellent telephone customer support. This is the real deal!

Ive had my Carttek- remote control golf caddy for 4 years. Given that the battery is 4 years old I think it is on its last leg and I will need a new one. I use the golf caddy when it is too hot to walk and carry my bag. During those rounds I recharge the battery after each round. It doesnt take long to recharge and it always is ready for golf the next day. I like the option of the remote guiding the golf caddy or just using the handle to direct it around the course. The battery I have is the older heavy one. The one good thing about it is that it definitely helps keep the cart level and prevents it from turning over. Its a good investment if you love to walk and not carry your bag.

When I ordered my Cart-Tek cart there was a severe storm in Oregon so deliveries were backed up I called Cart-Tek and left a message because I did not get a shipping conformation Dave called me back right away and said he would call or email with my shipping info and he was true to his word not only did he give me delivery my cart arrived a day early and was packaged perfect Its been snowing I havent had a chance to use my cart but its awesome and Tyler and Dave couldnt have been nicer very happy so far with my purchase thanks guys

I have used Cart Teks remote control golf cart for 2 years now. The 1500Li is my cart of choice. it is lightweight and fits easily into my car. It is great at going up hills. The customer service is great because you get to talk to the owner of the company when you call in. Service was top notch. I highly recommend this company and these carts.

My remote cart was the envy of many other golfers at my club. Two people have already purchased their own! It takes a little while to get used to, but it is a nice alternative to a push cart, which bothers my hands, shoulders and back by mid round. The support at the headquarters was great. The plastic piece for the scorecard holder arrived damaged and they replaced it right away.

I have had my cart tek for about 8 years. I play about 3 rounds a week. My cart has held pretty good. I have had a few minor problems, Mark has always helped me out with the technical stuff and gets my cart up to speed.I am happy with the services provided.

This is my third motorized cart but my first from Carttek. I’ve had my Carttek unit for nearly a year and am very pleased with its performance. Two key attributes are that it’s very sturdy and also very fast. Only issue has been my original selection of an SLA battery which would not last full 18 on my long and hilly course. I have owned my caddy for two seasons, and believe it has made golf much more enjoyable for me. The caddy is very stable and falls over only when I do not see a deep depression in the ground. Compared to the Bat Caddy, it is much more stable. I have only two minor complaints, both of which may have been addressed already. The first is that the charging system lights work only after removing and re-plugging in the charger. The second is that the remote strap is easily pulled out of its socket.Finally, every time I needed to speak to someone regarding my caddy, the person on the phone was wonderful and went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied.

I have had my cart for only 2 years and have had two bad batteries. When on web site you will only see the positive reviews. Beware of this product. If I were to do it over I would have bought a Bat Caddy. I know many people that own them and have had no problems. This is to expense of an item to have this many problems. Beware.....

Love the product. Light, maneuverable. I have a remote controlled model with a lithium battery. I’m going into my fourth year with it and can still play 36 holes on a full charge. Orders for parts and accessories are easy and prompt.My only negative is that the combination card/umbrella holder and the Umbrella holder don’t work well.

I purchased my electric pushcart two years ago and I couldn’t be happier. I play 27 holes every Tuesday during the summer and it allows me to walk all 27! It’s so quiet that I never worry about bothering my fellow golfers. It’s also helped my back as my posture is much better not having to push up hill. I highly recommend it.

I purchased one of the early Car caddies with a differential allowing the drive wheels to turn and swivel independently. I find this to be a big plus for a three wheeler which would otherwise be constantly having to be manipulated when making turns. I find that my cart takes the work out of walking on our essentially flat course. Its durable, easy to use, a pleasure!

I love, love, love my GRi-1500Li cart! I have had it approximately 1 1/2 years and have never had one problem with the cart. It handles flawlessly and is so simple to operate. It is much sturdier than competing brands and is much more stable going up or down hills. (Several of my friends have purchased the Bat Caddy and are disappointed with its performance.) The direct customer support is better than any company I have worked with; the phones are always answered; and my questions have been solved. Ive used my Carttek for over a year now, and cant say enough positive about the experience. The simple lines and sturdy construction enable it to look new after many rounds of golf. Ive had my GRI-975Li cart for over 4 years, use it all the time and love it. Two of my golfing friends bought the same one and are also very happy with it. Not only is the cart great, but Cart Tek provides excellent customer service. The only criticism I have is that the elastic strap holding the bag in place broke soon after I got it, but a bungee cord is a simple fix.

3 years and still working as promised. Great Product. Great Customer Service. Only reason 4 stars is the board was defective initially, the cart lost programming 2X and had to be reset. Forward changed to Reverse and cart was hard to control.

I love this cart. Some minor bugs but overall fantastic. I think the 2019 version will resolve most of the issues I have. Going in to season 3 with the cart with well over 100 rounds on it.

Going on third year with our 1200R(2) My wife and I play about 60 rounds per year. Love the carts and service has been awesome. Sad to say that this cart is not available anymore. Would highly recommend. We are sure the new carts will carry the same quality and service .

I have a 1250 LI for 3 years and it runs great. What i like about this company is the great customer service. Lost my remote and USB cable over the winter. Customer service was great should have new one in a few days.

Fortunate enough to have the Carttek non-remote electric (Li battery) for about 1.5 years now. I have used it for about 200 rounds and it has been wonderful. No issues at all. Great cart. I have recommended to many fellow golfers who have also purchased one now.

Ive had my 1200R for a long time, like 5-6 years. On my 3rd battery - I play a lot of golf, probably use the cart 50+ rounds per year on a mountainous course. The carts performance is reliable and the heavy, low center of gravity makes it a good stable cart on our hilly course. But even better than the cart itself has been the outstanding and continuing customer service and follow up. Ive not had any major problems but several little issues and tech advice on batteries and replacement parts have always been smooth and so customer-satisfaction focused. Dick and his team would be tough to beat.

The staff and owners offer fantastic after sales service. The product has performed well for over 2 years, although it did take some getting used to at first. They have listened to people and added a 3rd wheel which makes the cart less likely to flip backwards when in use. The battery is great and holds a charge for at least 3 months.

Purchased cart 2 seasons ago and we have been very happy with the performance. Lithium battery holds a good charge and cart folds to easily fit in our trunk for transport. Once in awhile the remote will act up a little, but it’s usually easily resolved after a bit. My wife enjoys walking a round much more versus pushing a 3 wheel cart.

I LOVE my new CartTek! I used to carry but back troubles forced me to go to a cart. This cart is heaven! Lifting it out of the car is a breeze! The only thing that bothers me is that the signal between the remote and the cart cuts out at least once a round so I have to turn off and on the remote and the cart. Sometimes I need to pull out the power cord. Each time it seems to be something different, but I still love it! Thanks, guys!

I’ve used the 1500LI a few times. It’s worked great. It’s gotten around the course well. No problems with tipping as long as you use some common sense.

I have used this trolley for 65+ rounds of golf the past 3 years . The course I play is very hilly and has a lot of undulations on the fairways. The 975li is a fantastic workhorse. It literally pulls me up the steepest of grades & the electric brake makes going downhill easy to navigate. I did add 10lbs of weight to the lower front pocket of my Smart Bag and it keeps it stable when going up steep hills. My handicap has not gone down, however, I did drop 28 pounds from walking 5 1/2 miles per round. I would highly recommend this model to anyone who plays a hilly course or level course. I have had my Carttek golf caddie for a few years now and love it. The frame is light weight and easy to set up and the lithium battery is light weight with plenty of power for the hilly terrain I have golfed on. When I have had questions, the customer service has been excellent. I play 100 rounds + each year and it has never let me down.

I have had my Carttek for approximately five years. I must say that this has been one of the best gifts my husband has given me. What a difference this electric cart makes - opposed to my old push cart. Have only had one problem with cart but Carttek was absolutely wonderful in fixing the problem. Firstly, WONDERFUL customer service! second, I love my Carttek RC cart! I was getting close to having to give up walking my home clubs course in Arizonas White Mountains, as I was beginning to struggle to push my old conventional cart up some of the steep grades, making much more tired than I should be during the closing holes. This cart will allow me to continue to walk for at least a few more years!

I got off the course one day (carrying a Sunday bag) and started looking for a lighter bag.. Then a light bulb went off in my head and I searched for an electric golf caddy. All I can say is WOW! In my 45 years of playing golf Ive never had a piece of equipment so liberating and fun to use. Best money Ive every spent. Had mine three years now, still going strong. Excellent cart. Lots of options. Smooth ride, uphill and down hill..24v battery last about 25 holes on full charge. However, I do play a somewhat flat course.The remote does taking getting use to.Lots of different speeds and distances to learn.Cart, out the box takes 20 minutes to put together. Most of the time is spent unwrapping the cart. Dont be alarmed at how fast the cart is without a fullbag on it. It will still run alot faster than you can walk with fully assembled bag . But very manageable..

Good quality cart. Well thought out design & friendly to use on the course. Cart is stable on uneven terrain, which provides confidence it can be used on almost any course. I wish you could buy an additional double sided tube mount (1.25” diameter) from Cart Tek to hang additional accessories onto the cart. Cart Tek uses the Clicgear accessory mounting system but Clicgear tube mounts (1” diameter) won’t fit the Cart Tek. Cart is easy to assemble, set up & folds down quickly for transport. Very happy with my purchase!

Have thoroughly enjoyed my 975i. It works as advertised and they have been very helpful on a few follow up questions I had. It has more than met my expectations.

I’ve had the 1200R (sorry they don’t offer it any more) since 2010 and aside from battery replacement, it’s running like a champ. Best thing about Cart-Tek is their customer service. The staff has been awesome in answering my many (and sometimes goofy) questions. Based on the reliability of the 1200R and their customer service I would purchase from them again.

Great cart. I’ve had other brands and this one is far superior. Tracks beautifully, easy to use, setup is easy. Service is tremendous.

I was replacing a remote cart that I really liked. The company had gone out of business. I was hesitant but decided to go with the Cart-tek remote control cart. It was a great decision. It is solid as a rock. It took a short time to learn to control it and in my area I was not getting a good signal. Dick Northrup came through. He replaced the unit with a new type they had success with and followed up to make sure I was satisfied. Further, I needed a part and they sent me a few extras just in case. Overall, this is a company that stands behind their product and the product is a worthwhile purchase. I can’t wait until Spring so I can start using again this season!

Hello Carttek,I am one of your true friends. I bought the cart online and never have regretted this purchase for a second. Ive played over 500 rounds of golf with it and the battery is still working! If I were to do it over again, I would definitely get the one that steers remotely. Im 73 and it would help. But mine is working too good to replace! Thank you. I really enjoy my Carttek trolley. It keeps me walking which is how I prefer to play golf.At age 77 its a little tiring to push a regular trolley up hills. Now I can let the trolley help pull me up if I wish. Mine is not a remote version by choice but the switch delay function works great. I use it to send the trolley toward the next tee once Im close to the green in play.

I have had a total of 3 different electric carts with remote capability since 2010, and I had to research really carefully because the first 2 carts were horrible, especially for customer service. I came across the carttek and have read many reviews cheering for their superb service by Dick and Mark. Since I got 1200R, it is going strong and never had a major issue other than that battery needed to be replaced. I may buy a new one for my wife soon. Happy golfing!

I love my cart. Had a pinched nerve in my neck and couldnt carry my clubs. Everyone wants to know if it goes by itself. I have to show them my remote. I leave it way behind so that the line of flight is shown. Then just bring it up. I make it go slowly up hills, as I have to go slowly. thanks

This cart is excellent. It folds up so small that it fits in the front boot of my Porsche Boxster. The battery charge lasts for two rounds on my hilly course. The only negative that I have is that the on/off button is sometimes not reliable. I have had to replace it once already and it still is temperamental. The manufacturer is very responsive though and willing to help.

Good looking quality product. I get lots of compliments on my GRi 1000.I had a couple of issues with wheel alignment, which may have been my fault, but the company sent me no-charge replacement parts promptly.

We own 2 carts powered by lithium batteries and have used them for hundreds of rounds in the last few years. They have performed flawlessly. I highly recommend them.Jim

I purchased my Cart-Tek back in 2011 and still is going strong in 2018. It has been one item that I have no fear of not working for me when I go to the golf course...Other then replacing the battery I have not had to replace anything. This cart is in my opinion is second to none out there in this price range...I highly re-commend this company and would do business with them again in a heart beat.

I have had a GRX 950 Li (a discontinued model) for three years. I regularly play three rounds per week on a hilly course, and it has performed very well. It has plenty of power and is easy to maneuver on the hilly terrain. Not surprisingly, I have had to replace some parts over the years. The cost has been very reasonable and the customer service exemplary.

I have owned the 1500 remote golf cart from Carttek for almost 2 years and am delighted with the product. I play golf in New England almost daily during the spring, summer and fall on a hilly 9 hole course where the majority of us walk. I found, with age, that I was reluctant to walk in very hot and humid weather, but had always been of the mind that playing golf while riding in a golf cart is not really playing golf. It certainly is not conducive to getting much exercise. Originally, I had planned on purchasing a simpler model which a woman with whom I play uses, but decide to spring for the better model and am delighted I did. Its lighter, faster and far more streamlined. My cart and I have learned how to play nicely together, going up and down steep hills without a hitch. Because I use a fairly light bag, I found it helpful to purchase two packages of BBs and store them permanently in the lowest pocket of my golf bag, which solved a minor problem of the front wheel picking up off the ground when I went up steep inclines. The remote requires new AAA batteries on a fairly regular basis, so I carry an extra packet along with me. I keep my cart at our club and the employees charge my lithium battery, although Ive had to remind them on several occasions that keeping it plugged for long stretches of time is not good for the battery life. The battery is a fraction of the size of those used in the traditional electric cart (a bit smaller than the size of a brick) making the whole cart easily maneuverable. Overall, I couldnt be happier, and the three people who have bought a Carttek based on my recommendation would agree. I am in my late 60s and, hopefully, Ill still be walking our course in my late 70s.

It amazes me how good they can do to help with instruction on the phone whether it is for repairs or operation of the wonderful carts. It is so great to be able to walk the course again since I dont have to pull my bag. Thank you for all your helpNancy in Bend

The best remote cart out there. Have owned for 7 years and first battery lasted almost 6 years and nothing else had needed replacing. Great control in all directions, 200 yard range and fast. Best price point out there.Donald
