In July of 2016 I signed up for a maintenance plan when a service technician came to my home to change some device batteries. He handed me a clipboard, and I signed where indicated. He said not one word about it being a three-year, binding contract. Fast forward to the sale of my home in November 2017, and I was charged for the months remaining on that three year contract with East Cascade Security, a subsidiary of Vyanet.
