My sister and I had an amazing time finding her wedding dress with the Bend Wedding and Formal Wear team! My sister was really stressed about finding the perfect dress and Kathleens positive attitude, warmth, and sense of humor made her feel so comfortable. She had a great selection of dresses to try on and my sister found her dream dress at the first appointment. Kathleen arranged for all the alterations for the dress and it fit perfectly! She was also so flexible with our appointment and pick up times. I cant recommend Kathleen and her team enough - thanks for helping make my sisters wedding perfect!

The ladies here are amazing. I had 4 girls going to prom this year and one of them couldnt find anything she liked at other shops. Two days before prom I finally brought her to Bend Wedding and Formal. After she didnt fall in love with any of the dresses she picked out for herself Kathleen brought her one more to try on and she instantly fell in love. These falls are so honest about what looked good and what didnt that it was refreshing. Not once did they pressure us to settle for a dress that was anything less than the perfect gown. They even did the alterations before we left the store. We will definitely be going back for all our formal needs.

Extremely friendly!!This was the answer to our dilemma this weekend. She has so much in way of variety on hand. Different colors, sizes, and services! She even dry cleans here!So helpful and quick. This weekend was not my first time at the Bend Wedding & Formal wear. I have rented a suit for a wedding before, they are very friendly and accommodating and that’s why I have returned this weekend. I have been looking for a dress for my sisters wedding and have looked everywhere in town and on-line. As an after thought, my husband and I stopped by Bend Wedding and Formal Wear. Im so glad we did! Kathleen was very helpful and her positive personality made it enjoyable. We found THE dress 👗 and it was even on sale! We couldnt believe the price. Im a full-time wheelchair user and finding a dress that wont snag in my tires or lays nicely is very tricky. I highly recommend Bend Wedding and Formal Wear for persons in a wheelchair. I was able to move around the store too! Her selection of dresses for everything wedding or formal event was fantastic. I couldn’t recommend Bend Wedding & Formal Wear enough. I rented a tuxedo for my wedding and everyone there was very accommodating and willing to work with me. I even switched things up on them with only a few weeks left before the wedding and they took it in stride. If you’re looking for tuxedo rental they are the best option in town!

My first experience here was a few weeks ago for my Fiance and our sons tux for our wedding. Kathleen was AMAZING. We walked in(two kids in tow) and were able to find exactly what we were looking for in about ten minutes (that’s including my 5 year old trying on a tux!) Loved the experience so much I decided to have my wedding gown altered there. It took one week to have a fitting done after alterations, we decided to do one more thing to it and Kathleen did it in one day!!! Talk about FAST! Kathleen was absolutely AMAZING to work with. She had answered all of my questions regarding tux rentals for my wedding.She allowed me to dress up a shirt to decide exactly what I wanted, and spent over an hour looking through the swatch books with me to make sure the colors were spot on. She was even able to order in a sample outfit for my fiance to try on to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the look!!! Definitely recommend this business to anyone!!

Amazing selection and prices of formal dance dresses. Were from out of town and came in to look at prom dresses. Found exactly what we wanted and Maggie was amazing with the purchase. Helped us find some wonderful jewelry that we hadnt considered. My daughter was very happy!

Kathleen and her team are great! I got alterations done to a dress, they stand behind their work. They also have a plethora of dress and tux options.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a retail store. Kathleen (?) made me feel like my presence and questions were an intrusion. I’ve never purchased a formal gown and was shown a variety of prom style dresses - she literally rolled her eyes at me when I asked if they had anything “a little more elegant.” I wasn’t trying to be pretentious, but my sisters wedding calls for something more than a prom style dress with sequins.

We chatted with Maggie and she helped us out 100 percent of the time. We came from Burns to look for a last minute prom dress, and within half an hour we had the dress, flowers, and length taken care of. For someone who is going to her first dance, they were more than helpful! I would come back 10000X over for any formal wear needs. These ladies are all amazing!! Thank you so so so much!!!

Stopped here to find a bridesmaids dress while on a road trip. I found the perfect dress that needed to be fitted. The seamstress hemmed a 3 layer dress and shorted the straps within a half an hour so I can continue on my way south. Everyone was so nice and really helpful. Also you cant beat the prices.

The experience here was amazing! I recently got married and purchased my wedding dress and veil from here. I worked on paying off my dresses and veil over the course of many months and they were great about working with me on it. They were unbeatable as far as prices anywhere in bend Oregon. The staff and owners were always a delight to see and made me feel like I was extremely special. I would highly recommend them to any bride to be!!!!

I was so happy when they took the dress I bought online for last minute alterations. I was so nervous but they did a beautiful job in a very short time. I even had a last minute adjustment to my belt and they were willing to do it while I waited. Staff was very friendly and good prices.

This place is so wonderful.. They have multiple suits tuxes and dresses to choose from.. MY best man had 1 simple job to do and that was to return his suit and he couldn’t even do that after about 3 weeks I get a call saying it was never returned it was so embarrassing but the lovely Kathleen the owner was so nice about it.. I recommend this place to anyone.. it is affordable and very classy.. i went to 8 different stores for a suit and they all wanted between 7 and 1200$ for a suit.. My daughter and I came in to Bend Wedding and Formal Wear for the first time last week to look for a homecoming dress for her. The gal that greeted us was very helpful and went above and beyond to help my daughter find a dress in the color and style that she was hoping for. My daugher found one that she loved however it needed some alterations. They had a staff person in the store who took care of the alterations right there which was nice. The staff made us feel like we were a priority and a valued customer. They were very kind and compassionate and super helpful to make sure my daughter had a beautiful dress to wear that fit her perfectly. We were met at the door by a very young girl. Just told to look around. When an adult did come pulled dresses that werent even close to what my daughter was even looking for. Was really sad because when my other daughter got married 9 years ago they were wonderful.PS We found a dress!!

Rebted the greatest tux for my proms! The quality was fantastic and the price was just as incredible. I got so many compliments, and the staff was so helpful and friendly and treated me with the utmost respect. I highly recommend this shop for buying and renting, they were fantastic.

Don’t Judge a book by its’ cover! From the outside this store looks great, but once you enter you feel like you’ve stepped back in time or into a thrift store. Selection is outdated and staff, although friendly, are not knowledgeable about current trends/fashion. Super cheap - not inexpensive - just cheap! In response to your reply, I wasn’t looking for futuristic, but I was looking for something more modern than the 90’s. In fact, I was able to find it just a few miles down the road at Cordially Invited. You should pay them a visit and learn how to run a bridal boutique.

I thought it would be a classy bridal shop based on the website, but unfortunately it was far from the special experience that finding your wedding dress should be. Maybe some serious remodeling and new inventory would help the store match the way it’s being advertised.

Went in to find a dress after having a shipping mishap from Amazon, and was able to show the picture I had tried to order, and ended up leaving with a dress better than the one I was trying to buy online! Super friendly people working there, so glad I stopped by!

I had my bridesmaid dress altered with Bend Wedding and Formal. They had it completed in 3 days. All in all great service, prices, and speed! I will be taking all my alterations to them in the future.

They do have a lot of dresses, but thats about it. Please look through both the high AND the low reviews to make an informed decision about giving this shop your business. The responses to low ratings are passive aggressive and the owner blames any issues on a new girl or someone who doesnt work there often. Extremely unprofessional, and it makes me sick to see a business that cant take some critisism and learn from it.

Came with my best friend and her mom to just try on wedding dresses and we had no idea what to expect but first dress she tried on was the one! They fit us in even though we didnt have an apt and were amazing.

My husband and I got married with a small private ceremony down by the river in Bend, without an actual wedding dress. We are going to be having a wedding reception however and for this I do want to wear a more non traditional short wedding dress.I had been looking online for weeks and had been to a couple other dress stores here in Bend before going to Bend Wedding & Formal.When I walked into the store I was greeting by a couple different reps and was helped immediately. I had my sister and niece with me as well. They first asked me what style I was looking for and then my budget. I had a pretty low budget so was a bit nervous about finding something. However, after trying on about 8 dresses in my budget they brought one out that I loved! They were very helpful and motivated to help me find a dress

Kathleen was amazing, we walked in and were greeted right away. We explained what we were looking for and she took us back and showed us the tuxes and got everything taken care of within 10-15 mins including Measurements for my fiancé. Highly recommended.

Worst experience on my wedding day. I bought my wedding dress and I also got it fitted here. Rather then the seamstress cutting and reattaching she just tucked it in Incase I wanted to wear my wedding dress again, which I was okay with. But. When she went to tighten around the armpits and shoulders it only needed a little adjustment. It was way too tight. I told her it was too tight after and she said she would fix it before my wedding. I picked up my dress the morning of my wedding and they told me everything on my dress was ready and all the adjustments had been finished. No she did not fix my dress. My dress ripped on the car ride to the ceremony, I had got into the car and reached down to fix my sock and the right armpit ripped out. Then when I went to hug my now husband after we walked down the aisle the right armpit ripped out more and the left one ripped out as well. Now I have very holy armpits in my wedding dress. When my husband and I had our first dance both sides ripped more and after that I was done wearing my dress. I was so disappointed in it and the work. Right after our first dance I got out of my wedding dress and had to wear jeans and a shirt for the rest of the night because my dress was falling apart. They won’t fix my dress. No refund or anything. Just I’m sorry. I was so embarrassed on my wedding day because my dress ripped and I had nothing to use to try and fix it. Make sure you tell the seamstress that it’s too tight and make sure she fixes it!! I’d rather not have another bride to be go though what I went though on her wedding day.My sister in law got her dress here, but she isn’t getting any alternations done there because of what I went through.

Have rented tuxes many times.All the groomsmen, except me and the groom got the WRONG kind of SHOES. My tie was dirty. When I returned it, the owner/manager blamed the new girl. Great. Blame shifting. Hardly an apology. On the way out the door, one of the employees who had been standing there said, See ya bud. Unbelievable.Recommend going to Roberts on Wall Street, downtown Bend. More expensive, but worth it if you are looking for a more classy, cleaner experience. Also, the attention to detail and customer service is the best in town for tux rentals.

Kathrine, I think, helped my son out when he ripped his pants right before prom. She was closed but came back in happily! She gave him an energy drink, took care of his pants, hugged him and wished him a good night! Her last words to him was, “all you have to do now is have a good time baby.” So many adults treat kids with disrespect and we wonder why they disrespect us. Great selection of dresses and accessories, the woman that first greeted us (a younger woman) was very helpful and pleasant. But the older woman that was there was beyond unprofessional. We were searching for a prom dress and she decided she knew what was best when it came to style. She invaded the dressing room, insulting the choices, and tossing different options that would work (according to her). She insisted the size wouldnt fit and was horribly rude. She did the alterations, which is fine. But the entire time she was rude and unprofessional. Definitely dont recommend this place if you want a positive shopping experience.

I went in for a $50 prom special on tuxes, and left $135 lighter because of interesting pricing policies... While the threadbare, ill-fitting jacket itself may only cost $50 to rent, everything from suspenders to studs cost extra. This business should receive a bronze medal in the Hidden Fees contest only after banks and airlines.

I have rented from Bend Wedding and Formal for both my boys for several events. The staff is helpful and friendly. I would recommend them for all your formal events.

Dont go for alterations here unless you want them to look like they were done by a drunk toddler. The owner is unprofessional, sloppy, and quite simply incompetent: she does not know how to alter mens pants, but she tried anyway, only to fail miserably and create two very unhappy customers. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone and would say that anyone who goes does so at their own risk.

I had a horrible experience here. I had my dress altered and the sleeves were put on unevenly, then they charged me to fix it. Then they shortened the hem line and they made it crooked so that the under dress was sticking out.Then they put a yellow stain on it when they were cleaning and pressing it. Then, they double charged my card and after a month of time I have then to correct it, were trying to tell me they didnt know what to do cause the owner want there . Then when the groomsmen and groom went to get their did they werent even there out together.they didnt have the right sizes and my husband had tip settle with a sit that did not close. Overall, not recommended,!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I just needed my bridesmaids dress brought in on the sides about an inch. After getting it pinned and told that it would be no problem to get it done in the one week time period I needed to have it done by I left feeling pretty confident that it would be done. I dropped it off on July 23rd and told them I had to pick it up by July 30th so I could leave for the wedding. Monday July 30th came around with no call, Tuesday July 31st came around and again no call so I call to ask about it and am told that its ready to be picked up but they just forgot to call me. Okay a little frustrating but not the end of the world. I asked the lady on the phone when they opened the next day so I could come and get it on my way out of town for the wedding and was told 10am. Wednesday August 1st I show up at 9:55am to pick up my dress thinking they will probably give me some sort of discount off my rush fee since they forgot to call and now I am picking it up 3 days later than expected. I stood outside their business until 10:25am when someone finally decided to show up to work. No one seemed to feel too bad about being 25 minutes late to work! First rule of business, never let a customer get to your place of business before you! Especially when you know they are coming in and are heading out of town for a wedding!!! I was beyond pissed at this point. Once we got into the store I was told that they had called me back on July 25th to tell me my dress was done but my voicemail was full and they just assumed at some point I would drive into town to get it without being called. Any business person knows that they should have called again the next 5 days to let me know my dress was done!! I live out in the country and run a business, I certainly dont have time to just drive into town and hope my dress is done. When Im told I will get a call when my dress is done I assume I will get a call when my dress is done. Its just not that hard!!!!! After being told it was my fault I didnt answer the phone the one time they called, we stood around the computer as they attempted to log in and get everything set up so I could pay. I was so ready to get out of their that I ended up digging around in my purse for cash so I could get going. After all that they still charged me the rush fee!!! Still no real apology either. I didnt look at my dress at the time because I just wanted out of there and had to get going to the wedding in Portland. After getting home I took the dress out to try it on and was absolutely horrified to find that instead of cutting the fabric out and sewing it back together they literally folded the fabric over and sewed one line of stitching so I had a clump of fabric in my side!! A 5 year old could have done the work they did and I paid $60!!!!! PLUS it wasnt even lined up correctly!! I will NEVER go back to this business and I hope no one else ends up as screwed as I did.

Good selection of dresses, but unless you are dealing with the owner customer service is terrible. They make you feel like an obligation, were late to appointments, rude during the appointment itself and could not get my grooms mens measurements correct. They also told me things would be done with my dress when they were no. On my final fitting, everything was not done and stated it would be ready by the wedding day, without the option to see it try it on one last time with everything 100% done like it was supposed to be on my final fitting. If you do go there, only deal with the owner when she is there!
