Id been in the market for a new bed, and had been doing my research at home for a few days. Narrowed it down to Mattress Firm as the best place for me, as far as mattress choices and price.As soon as I entered I was greeted by Hunter. I was prepared, and showed him what I was interested in, and let him know the price range I wanted to stay in. He knew his stuff, and was never a pushy salesman, which I greatly appreciated!I left very satisfied, and actually ended up upgrading the free adjustable base that came with the mattress because of the awesome sale!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HUNTER when shopping! Had a much better experience here than I had at another mattress store in Bend. Our current mattress was a bit more firm than we wanted, but I thought Id window shop and see what this place had available.I came in and started a discussion with one of the sales guys (Jared), lucky for me hes a sleep expert. The other place had no sleep experts, so maybe this is something they could work on.Anyway, he pointed out a model, which of course started off a bit beyond what I was considering paying. My current mattress was ok, but I thought I could improve things for my wife.. happy wife = happy life as Jared even pointed out.The second model he almost sold me on, but Im not really interested in the adjustable bed and the cost was more than my window shopping would warrant.Then he pointed out they have a sale on their own model of bed, 50% off. I liked the sound of this and asked him to point out an example bed so Id know whether it would be worth changing from the old one to this new one. As he pointed out, it was definitely more plush. Exactly what we needed. Also found they had it in king size but would need to ship it from Portland. No problem there, just a few days.After some lengthy banter about my work, moving in and out of the us, and other points of interest, I purchased my bed and left.The next day I received a phone call with Jared telling me my bed had already arrived.I dont know what black magic they used to make that happen or if it was just luck and a large shipment came in, but Im not sitting on a very nice, plush, bed with my happy wife next to me.Thanks a ton Jared!

He was informative about the products and helped us purchase the best bed for our needs. Overall, he made everything seamless from testing the beds to processing our order and financing. My wife and I had decided to get a new mattress since our 300$ mattress that wed had for many years just wasnt cutting it anymore. we figured wed try out a nicer mattress and see if it was worth the extra money, so we ended up at mattress firm because they advertised a 120 day trial period (sounds good right?). Wellllll after about a month we decided that the 6000$ intellibed that wed been sleeping on was actually no better than our busted 300$ mattress. So off to the store we went to talk about an exchange. As soon as the associate found out we wanted to swap out our 6000$ mattress for a 2000$ one things started to get ugly. The associate kept aggressively insisting that we should keep trying out the expensive mattress and then informed us that the small restocking fee for the exchange would actually be 600$! (not my idea of small) so after that outrageous claim my wife and I decided it would be best to just cut our losses, return the mattress, and go with a less shady company. Now this is were it gets really bad... I was then told it was going to be 2200$ to return the mattress!!! Apparently the adjustable frames that come with the mattress are non refundable (why I have no clue) and the restocking fee doubles if your returning the mattress!!! so even after all that we still wanted to return the mattress out of shear principle...they sent out a couple guys to pick it up and when i pulled the mattress protector off they claimed they saw a small stain on the matress and said they couldnt take a return. I appealed and sent in my own photos and videos of the mattress proving there was no stains and still nothing. so now we have a 6000$ bed that we hate and can do nothing with. Dont be fooled by the 120 day trial, its a trap to get you stuck with the first mattress you get. Also if you want a mattress we have one for 5000$ brand new NO STAINS lol.

The experience in store was great! Our sales person, Jared, was terrific! He was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of facts to help us make a decision. The only downfall was the company that delivered. We paid for delivery and set up. When the delivery guys arrived they told us they could only deliver. They showed us paperwork for delivery but no set up. They told us they didn’t have time. And that they weren’t suppose to take our old set away, but they did “even though they might get in trouble for doing so”. Jared made this right and confirmed that they we’re supposed to set it up.

I went in to the store and he showed me mini sample models. Item is ordered so I will be checking on delivery, etc.

Actually, I was surprised by the good experience. Ive never shopped here but, I am always a bit cautious when approached by members of the sales force. To me force means pressure. But, not this time. It was educational as there is A LOT of new technology in this field since my last purchase. They listened. They advised. They waited. They didnt pressure. They didnt try and nickel-and-dime or upsell me. It was an easy decision in the end.

My experience with Mattress Firm in Bend was excellent. A very pleasant young man named Austin, greeted my partner and I, soon after entering the store. He was wearing a protective mask, which I appreciated. He was upbeat and pleasant without being pushy or overbearing. He asked some key questions to refine our search. We had a good idea of what we wanted so Austin waisted no time getting us to the proper choices of beds. When he had us lie down to demonstrate the adjustable bed frame, he had coverings for the pillows. That made me feel better about the process. The lumbar support feature was the feature that really sold us. Finishing the transaction can often be tedious, but Austin was casual, yet informative in making sure we get everything we need. The store and sales people are a dream, but dont use the Progressive Leasing, I was led to believe a $500 purchase of a mattress, leased to own from the above named lease company, would be the price of the mattress, plus a small percentage of the purchase price, would be the leasing companys fee, but turns out for one years lease fee from Progressive is in addition to the price of the mattress, 101% of the purchase price, double the original mattress price. Mattress Firm great store to deal with, but DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Progressive Leasing - THEY ARE A RIP-OFF!!!!! Again, MATTRESS FIRM was a dream to work with when buying a mattress - will recommend to friends & family.
