Ive used them in the past and loved the service - this time it fell short. I give the two stars for the friendly service and help picking out a product. I ordered Central Oregon Compost - supposed to be screened at 3/4 inch for amending my soil before putting in grass seed. As you can see, the product delivered was very woody (the brown dirt is my original soil so I know I didnt have the wood there to start) and looks nothing like the product on the webpage. I didnt notice it right away because it was a huge pile in my yard and some of it was good. By the time I really figured it out, it was spread out so I had no choice but to try to use it. I spent a day raking out the biggest pieces - many wheelbarrows full. Probably just a bad batch or the deliverer scooped the wrong material.

They were amazing. They didnt have the product I needed in stock but took my name and called me a couple of days later. Brad was very friendly and helpful. Ivan, who delivered the bark was also great. These are the type of employees everyone wants and the owner should be grateful!!

Could not be happier. Called on Thursday afternoon. A real person answered the phone, discussed my needs and scheduled a delivery. Bark arrived on Friday. Driver was curtious, contacted me jprior to loading and dropped the 12 yard load on a 12 x 12 tarp perfectly. Material is clean and as described. I have used them in the past and will continue to do so.

I highly recommend High Desert Mulching. I had 26 yards of mulch blown in at my primary residents.  The delivery guys were very professional and courteous. I really appreciated them cleaning up when they were done. Ill be using them in the future for all my bark needs. .

We have a landscape business and this is by far the best place in town to buy mulch, soil or compost. We were getting our soil and mulch at the landfill but after using High Desert Mulching we won’t go anywhere else. They are consistently reliable, the staff is helpful and friendly, their material is amazing quality and looks stunning in flowerbeds, and their delivery driver saved me from staining a customers paver driveway by informing me ahead of time that if I had him dump the Color Mulch Black on the driveway I probably wouldn’t get the dye off the pavers. Thank you for the heads up 🙏

A wide variety of mulches and rock. Got 3 loads of mulch and 2 loads of rock, good prices and they load it right into the the bed of your truck. Employees are very helpful too and know exactly how much will fit in each truck bed.

I have gone here often as a tree worker and it is easy to get around with a truck with or without trailer. The staff are always around and ready to help.

This has nothing to do with their normal services, but they deserve a very big hug and thank you. I lost my backpack/Purse at Shevlin park this morning, and whoever had the job there today, found my purse, gave it to the police department, and they gave it to me. Thank you so much to the person who found it, and got it back to me. It feels so good to have honest people in my neighborhood.
