Take an art class with James or any of the instructors. They are all great and what a fun and memorable experince. Some are novice or beginner artists, maybe just dipping a toe in and maybe just visiting. Its so fun!!!

My friend Stephanie and I just took the Urban Sketching class with watercolors from James at Layor Art Supply. What and absolutely AWESOME evening. James was taught us so many different skills and techniques but it wasnt overwhelming. We met at the store for a quick lesson. They provided ALL the tools and we got to keep the note book! Then we walked to the Farmers Market and the 4 of us sat and he shared tips on perspective and composition. He adjusts his instruction specific to the students ability. AND we got to shop in the store after hours with a 20% off total purchase. The classes Laylor offers are diverse and so much fun. Ive already signed up for more this summer. Thank you!!!

Layor Art is the best! Wonderful materials to chose from at great prices. Their engagement with the local community is supportive and flourishing. The gallery is consistently updated and there are always new artsy goodies for gifts and personal exploration.

Has a good selection. Albeit i paid most attention to the pencils, pens, calligraphy pens, spray paint, sketchbooks. Its a whole studio of things and i was just looking at a single section on the wall. I love it and will be back plenty more times in the future

I really just love it here, every time Im in Bend I make an excuse to come in to Layor and admire the stickers and inks and all the lovely art supplies. The owner is just the sweetest and always makes me feel welcome.

First of all, it’s the only real art supply store in town. Secondly, they have professional quality as well as beginner quality supplies. Lastly, if they don’t carry something you want/need, you can almost certainly ask them to order it for you.

This store is absolutely awesome. Theyve got all the high quality art supplies you would need with competitive prices (better than Hobby Lobby and Michaels prices for what I needed) . They also display really cool local art and the staff is extremely friendly. Im definitely going to keep coming back for my art supplies.

I only really only go here to buy brushes. They have a great selection and the people are friendly. They have a wide variety of products for painting and drawing .

I ADORE THIS PLACE. They hung up some of my art and the process was amazing. They are so kind and good at what they do. I reccomend if youre interested in learning about art but havent done something like oil or acrylic they do have classes!!

The most friendly, knowledgeable, nicest, genuine staff of almost any store I have ever been into in my entire life! From the moment I walked into this place I knew it was special! Truly one of those passion driven little Mom and Pop feeling, absolutely original, just soaked in pure love from wall to wall kind of a shop! Really nice products, really appreciate how they attempt to incorporate a wide variety of media (I mean they even sold Ironlak spray paint cans-as a previous street artist really respect that!). If youre a local artist, this should be your shop!
