**UPDATE**Patti, the store manager worked hard to correct this issue. She was wonderful and so helpful. She helped us order new slipcovers for all three pieces of furniture and they fit like they should. We are so thankful for her willingness to help solve this problem.We purchased two slipcovered swivel chairs and a huge slipcover couch, all of which cost thousands of dollars. We were told the slipcovers would be great for a large family because they are so durable and easy to clean. From the onset, we have had nothing but trouble with the slipcovers. Taking off the slipcovers was a chore because they were so tight. Once washed, as directed from the store staff, the slipcovers were even more difficult to put back on. For over a year we have been dealing with the seams falling apart once they have been washed. Its almost as if the thread disintegrates in water. The owner took in two slipcovers and had them fixed for us, at no charge. We thought this would fix the problem, but the seams kept falling apart. I have phoned the owner three times to address this issue and he has not spoken to me about it. We just paid $300 to have another seamstress sew the ripped seams back together and add velcro for easier removal. New parts of the slipcovered seams are ripping apart now. So I purchased fabric glue to hold the slipcovers together. We did not purchase these pieces because we wanted to be constantly repairing something, We wanted this furniture to make our house a comfortable home. I would expect issues like this from cheaper places.

Way over priced interior decor and furniture. Mostly neutral bland with pops of color here and there with accessories. Do not know if furniture is well built or not. You would have to go and check. Staff mostly ignored us except for one gentleman who asked if he could help us.

Beautiful one of a kind pieces! It is an experience in its own, just walking around and checking out their new displays every month. The designers are very knowledgeable and can put together some great looks for each person’s taste. The prices at this store are on the high end, but that is to be expected when you shop at such a unique store with well-made and handmade items. This is not a cookie cutter box store!

Stopped by today based on a couple of recommendations. Very unique and charming store with beautiful, quality, furnishings. Think high-end farmhouse. Staff was warm and friendly. I will be back.

I will say that visiting this place is an absolute treat. The merchandise is displayed beautifully throughout the store. I did enjoy conversing with a few of the staff members, but what kept me from making a purchase, or even fully enjoying my experience was how stand-offish and rude the owner was. That was surprising since I’ve heard only good things throughout the community about how friendly he was. Nope, not the case.

Unusual is a good word to describe what you will find here. Much of their stock is old items that have been re-purposed into furniture, or decor. Some is very imaginative.

This place is off the beaten path...but thanks to traffic, a drive by piqued my interest. A few weeks later, I had the opportunity to check out the place. Not many places do I love every item, but Simple Things has a variety of furnishings and decor that is not the boring mass produced stuff you see in the chain stores. If you like the design of the popular home shows, you should check this place out!

I love Simple Things, my most favorite place. I have been a long time customer, not that they would know me but I have bought several of my prized things there. I am sick, I cant afford anything there anymore. He use to have some affordable mixed with the incredible. Hope he remembers his followers.

Found the store online, while searching for local home decor stores. My wife and I went to simple things to see if we could maybe find a item for our home.Out of the three sales persons we saw in the store, not one greeted us, nor asked what we were looking for, or if they could help.Very disappointing and disgraceful.

Very expensive and not much selection in the store. Nose of the furniture in there had slip covers on there. I wont go back.
