This company will price gouge you.They quoted me a price of over $200for a simple transmission service that only involved taking out one drain plug and replacing 2 1/2 quarts of transmission fluid.WOW, OVER $200 For 5 to 10 minutes labor

I was told by another company that I needed a transmission and was quoted more than what this company had quoted me. It ended up not being the transmission at all. It was my mass air flow sensor and coolant temperature sensor. They were honest with what it was that was wrong with it. I will be using them again if I ever have transmission problems in the future. Had my wifes truck(Pink Panther) towed from Lewisville to AA shop site unseen. I was in contact with Gary from AA.I felt by our conversation that he was an honest person. Long story short he charged me half of what a shop called Street Dreams (street chumps) was charging me and did a very good job. If I ever have any Transmission problems AA will be the shop it goes to and I recommend you do the same.

Their diagnosis was that my truck needed the transmission rebuilt. I fell for it. A month and $3000 later my truck is still down with the same problem it had to start with. I was told that they did all they can and that i needed to take it to the dealer and have the computer tested and good luck. I feel like they should stand behind their diagnosis and fix my truck but instead they just turned me away. Do not use this shop. They are dishonest, incompetent and slow.

I called them on the phone to ask about the$375 carry out rebuilt transmission and the price want to$700. Was going to ask about if they could do the complete job but the person started being disrespectful and hung up the phone on me. I would not trust this place.

AA Lonstar does not back up their work and did a terrible job shabbymy sons car also my was shabby to say the leas and l wouldnt let them work any of my vehicle s ever again!!!!!

I WOULD NOT recommend this place!!!!!!!I have a 2002 White Acura MDX, it drove like a DREAM, except for the transmission slipping, so I gave this bad place my business and had them rebuild my transmission, well the transmission is GREAT, BUT THEY MESSED UP MY DRIVE SHAFT, endangered me and my kids as that is unsafe, forgot to put a transmission mount back on and a motor mount!!!!!! Think twice, now it’s gonna cost me MORE MONEY!!!!!! I even took it back and asked him why was my car banging now when I drive, he made up some lie and refused to fix it cause he didn’t have the adequate tools to do so, and on top of that they left a scratch on top of my hood,they are just terrible and inconsiderate of your vehicle, just want the money!!!!! Bad work, and bad service on top of that!!!! WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THEM IF THEY WERE THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH!!!!

11 days on a 4 day turn around, Im thinking they need to figure something out. i suspect they were giving not so honest answers when we called.please guys, i dont like running people down, especially a small business owner. but youre not giving much room for anything else. judging by the google reviews its hit or miss. if the transmission works properly when we pick our vehicle, ill rerate. but for now 1 star..after looking at the bill/diagnosis i see that it was necessary 3more stars comin atcha.

Fair and honest about what is needed to get transmission fixed

First i found the business online on 2/27/2014; I couldnt believe what i was reading so I called and talked to Steve the prices that he quoted me was unbelievable 700-1000k less than other places. We took our 02 Honda Accord in the same day. Well when i initially called on that Saturday 3/1 Gary told me that they hadnt started on it. So when I talked to Steve on Monday he said that it would be done by Wednesday. So i called and called Wednesday to find out the total and see what time i could pick it up. So Steve calls me back to tell me it would be 1479.10 which was 200 more than one place had quoted me and 79 more than another place but of course i had much higher quotes thats part of the reason why i chose them. The price was better although we had to drive 45 miles further. So today 3/6/2014 Im supposed to get my car back its been a week. I was told there was a mixup with parts order. So the reason why im upset is in the end it was around the same range as other ppl who promised my car back in 2-3 days so I had to spend the same money, drive further and wait a week for my car. This has been an unpleasant experience for me. I asked about the 10% Military discount, Steve said he gave it to me but I never told him previously that I was a Veteran. Oh well, lesson learned!!!!!!!!!
