I think there were only 2 people working when we were there, one on the floor and one in the office. Which when running a business with good management is all you need IF the workers are good workers. The woman who helped us was very busy, acknowledged us when we came in, followed through on her statements. She was a GREAT worker doing a great job. After checking out all the local competition I discovered Slumberland had the best prices. Customer service was the best here. Gonna take 4 months to get my furniture due to the weird world right now.

They had what I needed at a good price. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. From the moment I walked in the door to when I drove away they helped every step of the way.

The salesperson was nice and very helpful she explained everything in a respectful manner. But I didn’t like the timeline we have to wait to get our furniture. Otherwise I would of gave five stars.

Horrible experience and customer service ever. Will never buy from here again. Spent over 2,000 dollars there this spring there and the person selling me the stuff was super nice but when I bought my bed I was not told about the protector for it and or told about complaints that other people had about bed bugs. Never had bed bugs ever up until I bought a bed from them, the only place in my whole house was my bed in my bedroom. I threw my box spring bedframe blankets pillows my night stands right in the burn pit, and when I called slumberland because it hasnt been the 90day trial thing (or so I thought) I was told theres nothing they can do because I didnt buy a protector, well for 1 I wasnt told the 90day warranty was invalid if no protector was bought at the time of purchase and for 2 what good is a protector if the mattress already had bedbugs ? Do not recommend at all. Worst experience Ive ever had in my life

I entered the store just before closing time and was positively greeted by salesperson. She offered to answer any questions, so in the end, she answered them ALL!Within 10 minutes, she showed me all the fabric and color options, checked inventory and filled my request. The staff members were very friendly and very helpful. We were able to find a sectional couch and matching chair but are unable to get it for 2 to 4 months which is somewhat disappointing but out of their hands with production being the hold up.I am pretty disappointed though in the fact I was able to find the set of living room furniture online which showed the store location we used as having a 5% discount for signing up for marketing with phone number and not being able to get the discount. We were told they do not honor the 5% discount at their store location so it should not be advertised if it is not offered.

It was so so. I went in for the green barrel chair, advertised in their latest sale that came out this week. No green, but they had an orange one. Since I like wild colors, I went up front to get it and pay for it. Found out, they have to order it as they dont have a warehouse. Good grief. If they had to order the chair, well why could they not order the green one I wanted. Wont be doing business with Slumberland here.

Went to Slumberland today looking for a new power recliner. I was greeted by Kayla who was very nice. She showed me different chairs and had me try them out. Decided on one and she gave me a good price. Later brought my husband in (to pay for the chair!!) and again greeted very warmly. The delivery guy was there and was very helpful in setting up the delivery. We left very pleased with our purchase. I have been buying furniture at this Slumberland since 1994 and always satisfied!!

My order took over 6 weeks to finally be delivered!!

Stopped in just to shop a mattress, salesperson made us a package deal on a king size mattress, box spring and protective cover all for just $700 after multiple discounts. I should also mention that they combed their inventory to find us something we could take home that day, seemed like many good deals throughout the store too. I will more than likely go back again to shop future furniture purchases.

If youre looking to buy quality furniture and good customer service. I do not recommend Slumberland in Bemidji. Over the years we have been dedicated customers and this last time was the end of giving them our business.They claim to back up their 100 percent customer satisfaction but that is a lie. We had to have a chair fixed and we hauled it in ourselves because they want to charge a delivery fee to pick it up. The chair is under warranty. We got it back home and it clearly was poorly fixed. Now the foot rest wont go up, the springs are shot and its so sunken in the wood digs into your back. We have asked for store credit to use towards a different piece hopefully better quality but the manager refused. I called today and spoke to Rob personally and what a joke of a manager and representation of Slumberland. He basically said it was fixed he sat in it and theres nothing he can do but I could bring it back in to have it looked at. So he expects me to haul a huge snuggler chair in once again when Ive already done this once a week ago or be charged for them to pick it up. Obviously this chair wasnt made with quality from the beginning. Only one person sits in it and its stayed in one spot since we got it. His tone and responses to me were so unprofessional. After I called back and asked for a corporate contact to report this dissatisfaction, Rob decided he could pick it up and take a look at it again. At this point its clear to me this furniture is poorly made and the manager isnt willing to back up the customer satisfaction. I was willing to put the credit towards a more expensive chair with better quality but instead he would rather just lose our business all together and use more resources to keep trying to fix a defected piece of furniture. Next time I will take my business elsewhere. Id rather deal with a business that backs up their claims and when a piece is under warranty they take care of it properly.

I went not really knowing what was out there, I was just shopping to get an idea. When we walked in Heather was there right away to help us out and point us to where we needed. She asked all the right questions and really knew what we wanted before we did. She also didn’t try to push a higher priced mattress either. There was no pressure and let us try them out on our own and try to relax on them. I walked out with a new mattress very excited and pleased with the whole experience. Ordered a couch In July, and was told it should be delivered within 3 weeks. After 4 months of hearing things along the line of, Itll be delivered in a couple weeks, I finally cancelled my order. Now they are saying the refund will take another couple of weeks! Who knows when I will actually receive it, if at all. Covid or not, there is no excuse for this kind of service. HORRIBLE.

I was looking for a couch, I found one that I liked but it was on sale only through the following day. I wanted to look around some more, so I didnt get it. I think in general Slumberland is known more for their mattresses and bedroom furniture. Ive heard that they make a good recliner, too. I thought their store could have been better laid out. It was crowded. It would be difficult for a person in a wheelchair or using a walker to navigate. There was handicapped parking.

Stopped in today and bought a dining set and rug. Kayla was SUPER helpful! We got home did some measuring and called to add a hutch to our order! Will definitely shop with Kayla again!

My husband and I stopped in to look at beds that were in the Labor Day Sale ad. Heather greeted us almost immediately. I told her our needs and she did not try to pressure us into spending more. She did suggest a similar bed than the one in the ad, but more comfortable and with the added discounts, ended costing less than the ad one. Looking forward to getting the bed in a couple of days and seeing if it as comfortable as I remember.

We went to the store on a Sunday to purchase a mattress. We found the one we want and it was in stock. But we couldn’t leave with it because there was no loading staff. If you are going to see furniture, you should be able to provide the service so people can go home with their merchandise. This is extremely inconvenient for us as we live 45 minutes away. And you wouldn’t even offer free shipping for the inconvenience. Yesterday when we wanted to take the bed home there was no rain. Now today my husband has to drove back to bemidji and it’s going to be raining all day. The bed is going to fit our needs right now but I really don’t think I we will shop here in the future this was a very frustrating experience. This has cost you guys a new living room set. We are moving into a new house soon and are going to be purchasing all new living room furniture. The purchase will be made else where now.
