Cant speak for all of their offerings but their soft serve ice cream is off the roof. Best one ever. Thank you for having such wonderful place.

Took our kids to get dinner and ice cream. The pot roast sandwich was excellent but not the pulled pork and didnt love the chili cheese nachos but the ice cream and Dole whip was delicious. Staff friendly and helpful, prices mostly fair.

Would give 5 stars if they had more than one person taking orders. Have 3 windows..use only one. Line was 11 people deep! The wait is too long..food and ice cream very very good, though.

Went there one to get ice cream and the line was super long, they have two windows but only take orders through one. I also heard it is very dirty and unorganized there, and employees get paid under minimum wage. Its hard to believe a place getting so many customers would treat their employees so poorly.

I like it here, but the service is really slow. The last two times I was here with my grandkids, we waited in line for almost 20 minutes to get our ice cream. The last time I left and tried the other place in town and we had our ice cream in less than 5 minutes.

I had a great ice cream (Im your Huckleberry! Yes, thats the name of this awesome fruity flavor! LOL 😂😋👍🍦🍇) and a delicious hotdog at a great price. Eating outside on a beautiful, sunny summer day listening to great music was also awesome. I recommend Dari Ripple for the best ice cream, sundaes, banana splits, shakes, juices and food in Belvidere.

As a family it was very reminiscent of those days gone by. When life was new and exciting. It reminded me of being a kid again. The selections were great. And the prices made it affordable enough, to take your family and not feel like it cost you an arm and a leg. After church, it was just the perfect ending. So pleased, I even let the kids eat in the car.🙃

Perfect soft serve.

Not very expensive, unlike some other places in town. This business has been in this town for almost 100 years and I can see why. The ice cream is delicious, the ice cream shop is right next to a beautiful riverfront park with a playground and shelter. Yes, the wait can be long because they usually only have one cashier open and there is usually about 15 people in a line on weekdays and 20-30 people on weekends, but trust me when I say, the wait is well worth it.

I have been going to Dari Ripple for over 30 years now. My only complaint is they tend to use that fake machine Ice Cream in all their shakes and malts. I even requested REAL ice cream for my malts with extra malts and they STILL used the machine ice cream. Otherwise, I have no complaints about anything. I do, however, think customers need to be more curtious when waiting for their numbers to be called for their order. Dont stand in front of the serving window like an entitled child. Stand back like everyone else and wait for your number to be called. And, please, pay attention. I have seen people complain about their order taking forever yet I heard their number called 3 times while they were playing with their phone. Pay attention, people. Have a good day.

I moved to Belvidere last Sept. Heard about Dari Ripples pineapple dole whip. OMG, its amazing. They have 2 sizes, priced right and so, so delicious. My friend also gets her dog treats from here to. Shs says he loves them. This is a great place, friendly staff, good ice cream and doggie treats

I used to love Dari Ripples dipped cones but ever since they got new people running it their dipped cones suck. They dont dip it enough and I asked them to dip it more and at first they told me no but then they did and acted like it wasnt their job to do their job right. I do not recommend going there if you want good ice cream that doesnt fall apart and is made correctly.

Great hometown ice cream store! We ordered everything from Dole dairy free to soft serve to two scoops of hard blue moon. Everyone was happy.

My wife and I ordered what we wanted and was told that they were out of vanilla ice cream. Then we ordered something different to find out they were out of something for that. After our 3rd round of ordering we finally found something that they had all the ingredients for. What we ended up getting wasnt what we wanted but it was still good. If your out of something someone should display that on the board so that people know. Simple 2 second sign put up could really speed things along in the ordering line. Maybe they are closing soon for the season and want to run out of everything?

This is a great place! Very respectful staff even when they got super long lines. Nice area to chill and have food/ice cream. The prices are very reasonable... Not far behind Dari ripple you have a nice park for the kids. They will see lots of us through the summer!

Great place to grab a yummy treat! Out furbabies love getting their pup cups!! Their picnic tables in the back need a little work...and maybe post some signs about people picking up after their dogs. 🤨

This place is amazing and the new crew is growing well. The people giving 1 star reviews couldnt swirl a simple cone if they tried and have no respect for minimum wage workers who tend to mostly be teens or young adults. Everyone gets work experience from somewhere, treat these children the way you would want your children treated by customers. People need to learn some patience.

When I was a child I used to go to a chain dairy store run by some self appointed queen but back then it had the feel of Dari Ripple today. Dari Ripple is not only a great value but a friendly place to share a cone with family and friends. Other places have turned into another commercial chain but Dari Ripple reminds me of those days where my parents would give me a dollar to go pick something off the menu. Dari ripple understands that and takes you back to the days of family run ice cream. Go check them out and enjoy a stroll along the river. Spend that quality time at a quality ice cream store.

We all loved the banana wheel sundae, twinkle cone, and blue moon ice cream. However what we did not like was the 10 minute wait just to have our order taken, and the 12 minute wait to have my order handed to me at 3 separate times. Hoping they can get it together. Dairy Ripple has always been my favorite.

Tonight was the first time there. We were surprised on how delicious this was. We ordered several different of types of ice cream and tried samples of each others. Each of the thing we had was good

If you asked me 15 years ago, it would of been 5 stars, but times have been tough on the Dari Ripple. Maybe its different owners or new product, but its not the same at all. The flavors are bland. The signage is also lacking making it easy to order

Ive been coming to the Dari ripple for over 30 years. It never disappoints. I remember stopping here every Wed and Saturday night after BYB at the fairgrounds. One of the last childhood places that you can still visit.

Ask if they had strawberry in soft serve Ordered 2 in a cone was charged $8.70 They gave me a Dole? Tasted awful did not taste like strawberry husband said it tasted like raspberry. No sorry from the people that took my order. They did tell me it was a higher price item. I will never go back.
