After my local dealer let me down I found Hammer Time 🔨 via Google. They had the unit I wanted and held it with small deposit. I made the trip to pick it up and was in, out, and on my way home in minutes.

Brought my sled in for a recall and to transfer the warranty. Ryan in the sales/finance department was awesome to work with. Highly recommend the drive to this dealership.

I took my Suzuki boulevard m109r boss to the service department to have a keyless ignition system installed and Bill the service manager not only provided amazing customer service, but also found a issue that another dealership improperly Installed and corrected it for my safety. Great experience. Had to bring my motorcycle in for an odd ball service. They got me in right away. They werent able to service everything I needed done but got half of it done. Only charged me for what they could do and gave me a great recommendation for the rest. Definitely will be going back.

WOW!! What an awesome place! I just received the best customer service I have ever had in a snowmobile place! I just had to run in and get some oil for the hubs and had nothing but incredibly polite and friendly people helping me (I have had to run for the hubs for parts at a competitors place north of Rockford and let me tell you . . .not a pleasant experience . . . ignored, dismissed). Was absolutely truly impressed at the incredible genuine feel and kindness of the people who were working there and helping this chica out. Thank you so much!! You wont regret stopping in this place if you are looking for something for your boyfriend, hubs or yourself. They do not make you feel uncomfortable like you are bothering them and not worth their time. Very friendly service!

Hammertime did have the high quality utility trailer that I wanted and the sales person was very good, but the fees they added to the advertised price of $2649 were outrageous! $90 credit card fee, $299 dealer prep, $175 document and administrative fee made the total pretax actual cost come to $3213! I needed this trailer and had driven a long way so I did pay the highly inflated price. God help you if you are buying a $10,000 motorcycle or snowmobile. And absolutely NO members of the staff were following Illinois law or practicing good citizenship by wearing a mask. I felt very unsafe there. I will never buy from this business again. If you do, make sure you have had your covid shots and take a very fat checkbook.

Purchased a snowmobile from here. I feel my salesman, Ryan Roxworthy, went above and beyond to accommodate me and my busy schedule. When I showed up, he was waiting for me to sign papers and I was in and out in twenty minutes. Fastest and smoothest transition on a toy for me EVER. Now, I’ve been in since to purchase parts, and a guy named Marti always takes care of me and does it in a way that makes feel feel like I am his only customer. Do yourself a favor, and take your powersport vehicle to a different dealer regardless of whether or not Hammertime is the selling dealer. This dealership hasnt acquired the nickname Scammertime without reasonable explanation. If youre looking for vague answers, missed deadlines, and rogue customer service then this place is for you. There are only a few Polaris dealerships in Northern IL with Hammertime typically being within reasonable distance. Regretfully, I have been loyal to this dealership and am now understanding the reasons why other customers take the extra time to patronize Full Throttle or Nielsens Enterprises instead.

Went in looking for a side by side. Met Rick in sales who was very helpful to show us the models they had in stock. It was a no pressure experience while we hung out, compared features, started engines, and checked up on available rebates. Ended up with a great deal on a Yamaha Wolverine X2 XTR. We spoke with several of the staff through the sales process and everyone was friendly and helpful. Ended up financing a portion of it and that was smooth too. Im happy with my purchase and experience there and will be back for maintenance and accessories Im sure.

First time for service here. All seems good with MC after my ride home, clean business, nice staff. Equipment and accessories are plenty.

So my son buys a motorcycle from this place and pays using a personal check. They fail to endorse the check and so his bank bounces it. The owner calls my son while in the hospital demanding payment which since he is in the hospital, the only option is paying by credit card and they charge him a $245 fee. When they find out that it was THEIR error and that he is in ICU after a terrible accident on the motorcycle they sold him, they refuse to help cover the fee and insist that it was his banks fault, not their own fault. Then they have the audacity to act like they care about him. This place is heartless. 😡

Im considering purchasing a bike and have been checking the local shops. They were sort of helpful, but I felt like I got the service of a chain store rather then a local shop. I felt like I was just a sales target. Maybe my situation was unique, but never the less thats how I felt.

Great experience every time I go in. Everyone in the parts department is very knowledgeable and friendly.Bobby in service is great as well. Brought my bike in to have something looked at, and he did a safety check for free and scheduled me to have 2 recalls completed on my bike that I wasn’t aware of.

Staff is friendly just too many fees on their vehicles called about a new 2018 waverunner advertised at 7,999. By the time all fees were added up it was almost 12,000. Sorry but ill spend my money elsewhere. Called a dealership in peoria for a new 2020 ultra lx kawasaki 10,200 out the door. It was advertised at 9,999. So the hammer in hammertime is for all the fees and add ons

I went with friends to purchase a motorcross bike. Ive been in sales for many years so I understand what lies we are trained to tell of which I refuse to do period. The salesperson was lying through his teeth about so many things. His attitude towards the whole sales process wasnt for the benefit of the customer it was 100 percent his pocketbook. Sadly theyre one of the only power sports places in the area so they abuse being a monopoly. Its worth the drive in towards Chicago to avoid this sleazy place.

I have bought multiple motorcycles from here and helmets and gloves and whatever else I needed. I recommend people going here as i always had good experiences dealing with them.

I was traveling and had a flat on the rear tire of my BMW RT. The guys at Hammertime had a tire to fit and had me back on the road in minutes. But then, they should have as they charged double for the tire they installed. Bottom line, I was in a bind and they got me out.

Pricey but great people. Always spend more time there than I need to just talking to them about bike stuff. Very helpful

Sometime there people are a bit moody or theyre too busy to take care of your needs. If you have just questions its like they dont have time for you because theyre looking for someone to buy things and they should never give a customer the impression but him just coming into the store to get questions answered is intrusion and their otherwise normal business day because for all they know I could be the guy that return and by not only one jet ski but too along with a motorcycle and accessories. Which is what I did at another location because of how I felt I was treated here in Rockford. Kenny

I tried getting work done on my atv got a price dropped it off and three days later got a call saying they needed more money when they already gave me a price. I went up there three times to make sure of the price before I dropped it off. If I were you guys I would look for a different atv shop Don’t go to Hammertime sports you will be sorry all they think about is the money in people’s pockets they’re overpriced even the mechanic shop is overpriced there’s other places that will work on your ATV in Belvidere. Bobby in parts was the one who gave me the price and then changed it. And if you take the time and look up some of the names that are on these reviews there is a lot of fake reviews hammer times trying to make themselves look better with fake reviews

A Yamaha dealer that does not work on older Yamaha engines LOL, why are you even in business if you dont work on all Yamaha snowmobile engines. Must be nice to pick and choose what you feel like working on

Bought my first bike here after being on the hunt for about a month and a half. I gotta say hats off to Hammer time sports and especially to my sales consultant Bryan Willis. He went out of his way and stuck out his neck to let me test ride a super sports bike and even let me walk away with it at the price i wanted. His years of experience doesnt dull his aptitude to take care oh his customers one bit. Overall im highly satisfied with the entire experience and even more so with my new bike.

Took my seadoo xp for tune up. Paid in excess of $200. They told me it ran great and was all ready to go. I get it home, put in the water for first time three weeks later and it wouldnt start. I replaced the battery and it still wouldnt start. I called them and all they could say is it ran when it was here. No advice or anything. Not a bring it by and we will look at it or we will come by and look at it. It was basically, not my problem!Customer service is seriously poor.

Parts service feels subpar. Clerks can be inattentive and dont always know much more than whats on the screen. Had them sell me wrong parts and tools.

I bought my brand new bike there last year brand new first owner they told me that I would get my first check up for free oil change the whole nine yards.... I I called and asked they said I have to pay full price.WOW... anybody thinking about buying from here do not..............
