Worst experience everytime I use this pharmacy. Definitely dont use their drive thru for prescription pickup. They dont care how long youve been in line, theyll help people in one line and ignore the other.
Ive havent been super fond of their pharmacy for awhile but this review is actually about the stores night time service. Went over about 9:30pm just to get pedialyte for a sick child. The cashier Melissa took forever talking to the only other guy in line who was buying nothing but 2 cases of cheap beer. Then she started in trying to get him to apply for a walgreens credit card, knowing Im standing there holding pedialyte thats clearly for someone sick. When I finally get up to make my purchase she starts unrolling change into her drawer. By this time its almost 10pm at night. They close at 11pm and there isnt any other customers in the store. She seemed to be clearly holding me up and enjoying every minute of it. Sadly next time Ill take my business to Walmart even though Im not especially fond of them.
So this location is like any another. They offer printing services and FedEx services, for some reason they can not print the shipping label. Had to go all the way to Rockford to return a package just because it was delivered by FedEx. This is bs.
Best pharmacy in Belvidere. Very convenient hours and always get my prescriptions in a very timely manner.
Went to take passport size pics and I didn’t like them
My 1st ever here, i had to go here cuz my walgreens was outta stock on the meds i needed so thy told me 2 go here. I had to wait on the phone 4 a bit to long but otherwise the lady tht helped me was very kind & helpful, thy txtd me 10 min later it was done. the girl n drive threw super nice too.. i had no problems during my visit.. but the parking lot sux
Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. My medication was not in stock on Wednesday and said it would be ordered and in on Thursday. Called on Thursday to check on the status and it had not even been ordered yet and told it would be ordered then and be in Friday. No apology or reassurance that it would be taken care of. Then the third time I spoke with someone they let me know the medication is actually on backorder and unavailable until the end of the month. I suggested they communicate between their team more effectively since I can’t get a straight answer from anyone. She simply stated I will let them know, is there anything else I can help you with. Worst customer service. I stopped using Walgreens a few years ago because of their incompetence. Figured a simple eye drop would be simple. Again they have proven their unworthiness and will again be taking my business elsewhere.
Always has good variety of items
This Walgreens is clean inside although the parking lot can use some attention. I do believe they are understaffed as every time I go there I end up waiting. I actually avoid this location if possible and have moved my medication to another pharmacy entirely as the waiting has become too much. I understand that there may be times when things take longer but no matter when you go, no matter the reason you end up waiting at least 15 minutes, usually longer.
In these hard times you walk into this store and Nobody wears gloves or masks, there is nothing to wipe your cart, I took a cart and it had someones mask in it,so this store does not clean its carts.Please Clean your act up

The worst pharmacy ever. Not just one bad experience but two in the last month. First one...my boyfriend had surgery and went to get his prescription filled. They told me it would be an hour and a half wait. I explained that he just got out of the hospital and the girl was rude and basically said ...to bad thats the wait time. Second event...just got out of surgery and dropped off my prescription. This time and hour and fifteen minute wait. Went back they didnt have it in stock went to Walmart, they couldnt fill it because Walgreens had the prescription. Called Walgreens back, Thank God someone has a brain. I talked to Kelly to see if they could call the doctor to change the prescription and she checked and guess what? Its over the counter and sitting on the shelf. Just what you need to do is stress about a prescription and waist two and a half hours running around in circles.
Clean store. Everyone is very friendly here. Sometimes the wait at the pharmacy is longer than I prefer but the K-mart pharmacy closed. All the business transferred to this Walgreens. And yet, they still stay friendly under pressure.
The store is good, well stocked & clean. The pharmacy on the other had has been a mess since I moved here 9yrs. ago. Certain pharmacy techs can be very rude, as well as a specific pharmacist. He actually cursed @ me while in the drive thru, not to mention prior to that announced all of my information & what medication I was on. I never went back to the pharmacy. And I never will, it horribly run, & managed
Anything you buy, check the date on the product. Most items are way past use by date. When this fact is pointed to the staff the attitude is oh well, dont buy it. While that happens to be true but how about responding by getting the out dated product off the shelves instead of a who cares attitude. But as we all know bad attitudes start with store managers. Every experience is a bad experience. If my job performance looked anything like theirs, I’d be unemployed. I’ll be looking for a new pharmacy, and if you are considering this location for your prescriptions but read this before you have prescriptions sent here, don’t waste your time. Keep looking. Thanks Walgreens for taking the time for me to get a great price for my sons expensive RX!!! So may coupons I had and no idea what one to use. Randi was Awesome! Dont waste your time at any other pharmacy!
Do you love fast service? Do you think drive-thru lanes are faster than going in? Then stay away from this horrible pharmacy. Every single day, this pharmacy takes the longest time to help customers than any other I have been to. Management please fix this garbage that you have set up.
New Staff is doing much better now, My initial review is below. The new Pharmacists stay on top of things and take care of their large customer base in the area.Old Review 11/2017This is the worst Walgreens Pharmacy I have ever been too. Pharmacists are rude and customer service is horrible. They take forever to fill prescriptions and if there is a something wrong with the prescription they will fill it and not notice there has been a problem. I go all the way to Rockford and have them filled now.
My experiences at Walgreens on Chrysler Dr. have been the pits! The people supposedly working there are standing around talking. Customers wait FOREVER! Inside & outside. I honestly dont know how they stay in business, people are going elsewhere for their meds. And now they are taking in Shopko customers! More waiting time. Who has time or the physical ability to stand there and wait for up to an hour?The employees are rude, they are not friendly, they are slow, they stand around. I have heard some of them talk so rude to the elderly people. Once a poor woman who barely could walk was told to go to another window inside, a window I didnt even know they used. Instead of helping the poor woman at the window she was at, they make her try to walk to another. It was heartbreaking.
Worthless group of people in their pharmacy, no eye contact or compassion with the people theyre servicing. Never on time with their scripts, went to pick up a script for my son and was told he wasnt on file and they would call when they got around to it. I will not be going back, and I recommend no one use this pharmacy or shop at this store. With any luck it will be shut down and replaced by a business that hires competent human beings.
Sitting in the drive through and so far 4 cars have gone through left. I am in the right. Only 1 car has been served on the right. Been over 20 minutes so far. This is not right! People that got here 10 minutes after me have already left because they are on the left. Someone needs to learn how to do their job! Another just left on the left!
This review is half for the pharmacy, half for the website, a bit for the store. I switched to this location when Shopko pharmacy closed. The pharmacists and techs are very knowledgeable and helpful, and I give them props for taking on a huge load of new customers in a very short time when Shopko closed. I am happy with the option to receive texts with links to the total you owe, so you can pay before going to the store, go to the express line where you show a QR code, take your meds and go. Their website is also user-friendly, with refill reminders and the ability to have your whole family under one username. That was a huge annoyance for me with the Shopko site, I had to have 4 usernames and passwords to refill my familys meds. I took off one star for the store prices, which are too high and always have been. Overall, I would recommend this store over the other places in the area.

I have been using this pharmacy for years. It has now become so busy that you have to wait hours sometimes and some have become rude especially over the phone its not our fault if they havent accommodated for the influx of more customers but they are going lose business. I called to ask if a script was going to be ready was on hold 7 min then a second lady picked and asked if she could help me I told her another lady put me on hold then she said oh ok and put me back on hold Im done Ill go else where with my business.
They have one person working drive thru. There were 4 cars. I was the first on the right side. Had to push the call button twice to get them to even acknowledge that I was there. After the lady in the first isle got done asking a million questions (she shouldve been instructed to go inside) she gets to me. I give my name and she tells me my insurance is refusing to cover the med. Ummm you should have that a different med was ordered and PICKED up yesterday!!!! Im just here for the needles needed to take the med I picked up. So after the lady taking 5 minutes and the incompetent person I was speaking taking about 3-5 minutes to, Im told that I either need to lane one (that now has 3 ppl in line) or go inside. WTH!!! All I want is the stuff I need and go. Went through the drive thru so I could be fastish. Dont have time for stupid. I also have stuff to do. Gonna start switching med meds to a different pharmacy.
I came here to write a review of the worst pharmacy ever and looking at the other reviews, it looks like Im in good company.Good thing this guys just a pharmacist and not a surgeon, the kind of person who becomes a doctor for money and not to help people and doesnt give a flying you-know-what about customers and their medications.The rest of the staff in the pharmacy is also completely incompetent, every month I have to call them and hold their hand and walk them step by step through the processof ordering my medication to make sure its ready on time, why cant you just do your job?I waited 20 minutes on hold to speak with the pharmacist, finally a girl answered. I asked if she was the pharmacist, nope hes on the line with another customer. Oh really? Whats he doing, reading them his new novel over the phone, titled how to run a pharmacy if youre trash ?Maybe hes calling Comcast to brag that his customer service is even worse than theirs?Would you like to keep waiting on hold?In your dreams lady.So naturally I went into the store to find this mysterious pharmacist that is harder to track down than the lochness monster, or big foot.A miracle happened, the prescription that was maybe probably out of stock who knows just so happens to be there!So he told me to wait for my prescription it should only be a few minutes. and as Im waiting in the pharmacy lobby they had the nerve to text me that my prescription is ready rather than calling my name (which they did for the last guy in the lobby waiting) So of course, after getting the text, I think they will be calling my name any minute now.Nope, had to go up to the counter, shocker, its ready. I said you know Ive been waiting here right? Yes, they know, and the cashier pharmacist technician, just as rude, confirmed that she knew that too. If I could give a negative number of stars I most certainly would! Even 1 is giving this pharmacy way too much praise.This is by far the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. Drife thru or even going inside, doesnt matter, you wait forever. I am not overreacting either.Out of every staff member that I have came in contact with, 2,yes 2 have been polite.One of the pharmacist ( female) working there is always rude to me and has even hung up on me several times over the phone. Staff has hung up on me too or they put me on hold and let me wait till I end up hanging up.Scripts are NEVER ready when they tell you. And I understand that they get bisy etc. .but when they tell you your prescription will be ready in 2 hours and 4hrs have gone by and its still not ready, yes that does frustrate me.And if one of the pharmacy employees read this and wsnt to try to be cute and delay my scripts in the future, go ahead, cause Im going to a different pharmacy.

Does that one time script of say tamiflu seem high? Probably because it is. I picked up tamiflu for a family member and paid $15. Next day picked it up for another family member and they said $100, oh and they wouldnt start filling it till I agreed to pay that. Yeah right. After calling the pharmacy and speaking to the pharmacist, turns out they were trying to pass off the name brand on us in place of the generic I bought the day before. Screw Walgreens and the pompous jerk pharmacist who acted like we were putting him out questioning the price difference.

Its very upsetting how long you have to wait in the drive thru to get your medicine a drive thru is supposed to be faster and here it deffinetly is not faster hopefully someone can get this changed before I have to switch pharmacys
The trouble with this establishment is not the main store, but in the pharmacy. I have visited here after school hours, during lunch times, earlier in the morning and middle of the week, as well as weekends. With that in mind, the facility is either severely under-staffed or not trained to fill prescriptions in a timely fashion. After 3 months of stopping by to have my childs prescription filled (each time, I provided my ID and insurance card), it was discovered that they had been billing the wrong insurance. After stopping in today (May 2nd), I was told after being asked to wait for 15 minutes (while the pharmacy had my DL, insurance and prescription) that the prescription would not be able to be picked up for an hour and a half. Now, I am not paid by the company to wait, nor do I have so long to waste. I can go to a number of other establishments which have a 15-20 minute wait, without having so many workers present, even at a busy or not so busy hour. I recommend OBrien and Dobbins Pharmacy or even (gasp!) Walmart Pharmacy over Walgreens, because of so many poor experiences.
Worst service. Will never return. Nothing ever ready on time. Need more training.

Rude cashiers
Dropped off prescriptions. Came back when I was told it would be ready. Then had to wait another 20 minutes. This happens every time. Horrible service.
Pharmacy folks are complete idiots. Took over an hour to transfer prescription, didnt tell me it wasnt going through, then acted like they didnt even remember me even though I was waiting on them for an hour! Go figure. Total waste of a pharmacy
