Highly recommend this shop for all of your needs. I have taken several vehicles here after having poor service (and ridiculously expensive) at local Dealership. The owner Ethan is on top of everything and very courteous to the customer. I appreciated them keeping me in the loop as my vehicles have been worked on. Everything has met or exceeded my standards.

We have been going to Ethan and his staff for 3 years now and there is no one we trust more. They enjoy their job and it translates to the way they deal with their customers. I highly recommend them. My husband even wont shop around and that is a big thing. He doesnt trust anyone else to work on our vehicles. They are very flexible. As Ethan said to me the other day when I picked up my vehicle, The money is a part but I just want to make sure you are in a safe vehicle. When do ever hear a mechanic say that! He has never overcharged us and does a great job. Thanks Ethan and crew!

Broke down on our way home to Minneapolis, MN from Lollapalooza in Chicago. The owner Ethan Rogers, as well as the other mechanics were extremely helpful with getting our car fixed as quickly, efficiently, and cheaply as possible, due to the fact that we were stranded. Would highly recommend going here if you need car work done!

Definitely the mechanics around. Ive been taking my car with upwards of 180,000 miles here for years and theyve always been able to service it. Theyre always good to their customers and are willing to take the time to talk through the problems your car is having and give you a full rundown on what needs to be done and how much it will cost. Ethan and the guys are definitely worth paying a visit to if youre having car trouble.

Well. If you knew me you would know I dont leave a review ordinarily.1/2 Priced Auto Repair deserves one.Edit update. Turns out the owner turned out to be a drunk who not only fought with customers but sabotages customer vehicles. I witnessed this myself.!Owner went to jail and the shop was forced to close and many items removed by law enforcement. Building is in a great location and under new ownership. Give the new guy a try but make sure the past owner has nothing to do with the business.!

Great service,3rd vehicle taken to Ethan and crew, Ethan called when found an issue told me straight up what it would take to fix it, when I arrived he showed me the parts and what was wrong, like any place of service, reliability is key. I strongly recommend half price auto repair.

They charged me 60$ to roll up my window. While I am thankful that they did, they did not fix the problem. They just rolled it up. To me, their name is contradictory to their pricing.

Federal law does not require employers to distribute pay in specific intervals (weekly, bimonthly, etc.), though state laws might. The Fair Labor Standards Act, which outlines employee compensation regulations, says that employers must pay their workers promptly. While the wording is vague, it is generally accepted that pay -- which must come in the form of either cash or a negotiable instrument such as a check -- should be received as soon after the most recent pay period as possible. The employer may not withhold any payment, and employees cant be forced to kick back any portion of their wages. In most cases, employers are expected to pay employees for any overtime due to them on the same day that they receive their regular paycheck.2. You have the right to be paid quickly after leaving a job.According to the Department of Labor, the federal government does not require employers to pay employees right away if they quit or are fired. But employees should be paid by the next regular payday following the last pay period they worked. Now, this yahoo may or may not know his way around the mechanic aspect of this proffession. But I can truly etest to the fact he Does Not follow FLSA & Compensation laws.BBB and OSHA might find this place of business interesting...

I took my car 2002 impala that needed a BCM installed and programmed. Well during the programing his tech tool malfunctioned and locked up the bcm. He had to take it to dealer to be erased and reprogrammed, and still kept the original estimate. You just dont see shops that do as they say they do. I even have copies of the dealer invoices. My point is he did not make money on my job due to his honestly and work ethic. So if your looking for an honest shop this place is it!

Ethan & crew have turned into prima-donnas. Wont go there again. Went when he first opened several years ago at old location. He did a good job the first time for me (like they all usually do). But then have him diagnosis & fix my a/c. He claimed compressor needed replacement & replaced it. But the a/c hasnt worked cold since. He recharged the system twice, but it obviously has a leak someplace & he never addressed it. I decided not to go to him again; got tired that he did not seem to have the expertise at the time but wouldnt admit it.Went back to hima few months ago with car running problem. Now he is in a new shop with tons of business & little reliable help. That is his problem, but it affected his attitude toward my repair. My car was not running well & he was able to diagnosis & fix the main problem, but when I got it back the a/c was again suddenly out &I so was the cruise control which I had never had problems with. I also still had brake noise after paying $100 for brake lubrication that his helper told me would take care of the noise. So I call the shop & spoke with his helper who had done some work on the car. The helper got immediately defensive about my asking, (not even claiming) if something done could have affected the new issues. I asked him to have Ethan call me back & he said he would. After a week of not hearing from Ethan, I called him & he said he was told I would bring the car in for a look. He was doubtful that they caused any issues.I just wanted my $100 back for the lubrication because I felt it was a rip-off in any situation. Ethan agreed with me that it was a high price for a lub job, but demanded I bring it in to give him a second chance. So, I did on a day when I had to pay someone to care for my parents just to bring it in again. I did not trust Ethan on the other issues so I was not going to raise them further.I bring the car in & Ethan looks at the brakes & tells me I need new rotors. He gets huffy when I tell him to just forget about it put them back & I was going elsewhere. He gets on his high horse and claims he was going to offer to replace them for free, but that I was just a difficult client to deal with. I left without any work or money. Now, why? Because his helper first pulled the brakes apart and should have sent the rotors were bad. So he should never have suggested a lub job in the first place. It took Ethan @ 10 minutes to see the problem. Second, I had thought there was a problem with the alternator when bringing in the car. I was mistaken, but the helper also called me during the job with a different solution and still offered to replace the alternator at the time. I told him not to do so because his solution appeared to take care of the problem. However the fact that he would continue to suggest replacing a part that ended no replacement alarmed me.Ethan did not apologize for any of this or even wait for me to tell him why I was not inclined to trust him and his shop with any further work and just wanted a hundred back for the overcharge. Instead he just blew up at me, so I left and will never return there. If he is so hard up that returning a hundred to the customer is too much, he is not someone I would recommend trusting to own up to either a mistake or doing the right thing. It also appears to me that he lacks the time or inclination to properly oversee the interactions between his helper and the client so that the clients work is done properly. Last, the defensiveness of his helper toward the customer is reinforced and not corrected by his own attitude toward customers now. Altogether, my impression is that his business is not stable enough to offer any reliability to customers now. I do not suggest his shop to anyone.

WORST PLACE EVER! Had my Mothers car for 19 days just to fix the ABS light that was on.Every day it was another lie and excuse on why they didnt have it ready. Absolute lies - part wasnt in. Part came in but doesnt work. Mouse nest in the engine area that chewed on the wires. Had the stomach flu. Blah Blah Blah. ROBBED my Mother of almost $1000 and when she drove away - the ABS light was still on. Absolute thieves, liars and losers.
