When my car needs work this is the only shop Ill go to! Lee and Don are Always to the point about whats wrong with my vehicle! The price is never outrageous like most would charge.

Very expensive, didnt fix the issue. Took our truck there twice for the same issue within a week, paid over 1200.00, didnt fix the issue. Eneded up taking our truck elsewhere. Unhappy with the end result. Although we were told that if the issue continued we could go back, we no longer trust them. Now, we are paying again for the same reapair at a different mechanic which by the way is much cheaper than what they charged us.

This place tried to charge $1500 just to do my brakes. See where they get you is they try to charge you $84 just for looking at your vehicle. They take your keys and jack your car then come back & discuss the pricing. You should be quoted on the work needed long before they start taking your car apart. Then if you decide not to pay their outragous prices they charge you $84 just for looking at your vehicle.I do not recommend this place to anyone. You do not need to be paying $1,500 for brakes. This is something any mechanic is capable of doing.The employee at the front, the one with a missing tooth threatened to call the police on me for not paying him $84 to look at my vehicle. I do not have to pay for anything I didnt agree to and do not need to pay for anything I didnt sign for.This is a shady mechanic shop. Avoid at all costs. There are many other repair shops in the area. No one should have to be cheated the way they tried to cheat me.Will forever take my business elsewhere.

Got a tire fix here. By the end of the day tire went flat again. The patch was NOT done right. Patch it self was coming off. Worse place to get tires fixed they dont know what they are doing.

On Monday November 12 I woke up to a flat tire I took my car in to F and F Tire World at 520 Logan Ave Belvidere IL to have the tire looked at. Lee the store manager told me that the tire could not be replaced and that my tires were bald. I ended up financing $890 for new tires, I asked them if they also did oil changes and he said yes. He said he would throw in the oil change for free with the new tires and the alignment. I left the shop and noticed that my Oil indicator had not been reset but I didn’t think anything of it. On my way home from work the next day my Engine. I heard a few clanks a thud and the car turned off I called my husband and when he arrived he checked the oil and there was no oil in my car. In my trusting mind I thought they would take responsibility so I had the car dropped off at their shop and called lee in the morning. I told him we checked the oil and there was none. He stated he would check in and never called me back. I called him a few hours later and he said that the engine had blown and that this sometime just happens. He then proceeded to tell me forcefully that there was oil in the engine and that they did nothing wrong. That he had spoken to his corporate office and there was nothing they did wrong. I am out $890 for tires I don’t need and $330 for tow to Tito’s in Chicago were they confirmed that the engine was blown and possibly due to no oil. Please be aware before you take your car to this place.

Cost over $550 dollars for 2 tires and an alignment, when I asked another mechanic they said he didnt even do an alignment to. It pulled just as bad before I took it there. Took it somewhere else and now its perfect. Dudes a scammer.

Quoted at one price for break lines. Got there pick my car up, went from $220 to $580 without even so much as a phone call. When I complained I was told there was no way around it, but theyre under warranty. Yeah like thats my saving grace since ill never go in there again.

Oil/lube service, tuneups, tires. Going for brakes in about 10 minutes. Never a problem no complaints from this corner. I was quoted that the labor charge would be $80 to replace the front brakes. I supplied the parts. Surprise! The cost was $150. I will talk to the manager on Monday. The misunderstanding will be corrected or Ill go to Daniels next time.

I bought tires here because I wanted to support local businesses, but this place is very dirty. No water for customers or bending machines.The worst is that there isnt an appropriate waiting area.

The guy who runs the place (Lee) always seems like youre an inconvenience to him and is borderline rude at times. Prices seem to magically change/raise after services, make sure you get a signed quote before they put your vehicle on a lift.Tires are over priced, theyll sell you a marked up Chinese tire and act like theyre doing you some big favor on pricing.Went in for an alignment, car still pulls left and wheel is off center. Im not wasting my time going back for another alignment, Im sure Ill just be met with aggressive excuses.I try to spend my money locally and support our town.Ill go back to driving up to Beloit to visit Jacks Tire they get it done right the first time with much lower prices.

0 stars didnt make it home from the shop. 1600.00 and my car overheats. Never in 400,000 miles has it ever happened till I brought my car here. A .59 o ring turned into a 400.00 labor and parts without a phone call. This is a place thats trying to make all their money in one shot. Poor workmanship to have to have my car towed back in the shop because the brakes are dragging so bad the car overheats. Not 20 miles on it. They didnt even test drive to see if it was working. Lifetime warranty and I dont think Ill be letting them touch my car ever again. But they gave me a free oil change. Didnt check anything else. Had tires a rear brake job oil lines replaced front end alignment. I wont let them work on a tricycle. So sad when you try to go local and keep the money in the neighborhood just to be screwed by them. I wish I could take stars away. Id be giving the a -7. Not happy never again. As I was leaving someone else was coming in complaining of bad work that was wrong. These guys are not qualified dont bring your car here. We will see if they fix whatever they messed up.VERY UPSET NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!.

Over charged for services that were almost half the price at other F&F locations. The manager was super nasty and insulting when I told him all the rims leaked air after getting home. Made excuses never said he would be pleased to assist me. I had to have all the tires removed and remounted at my cost and time. If you really need tires in an emergency, go to the Walmart in town. The only saving grace was the polite employee that I spoke to prior to the manager/Owner.

This the is WORSE place to take your car. All they will do is rip you off. I told every person/customer I know to NEVER EVER take their car there because they will regret it. They fixed my car without even having my permission & then proceeded to charge me 3X the price of what it would normally cost.This place is a RIP OFF and should be closed down & investigated. Lets not forget to mention that the people working there are the rudest I have ever met!!!!!

Quick service and very friendly. They made my day by changing out my flat tire with a previously purchased replacement tire at no charge. A nice Christmas present for an unfortunate pre-Christmas event.

Went to the belvidere location back in July 2018 to have an alignment done on my wife’s 2001 4x4 Chevy Silverado. They Told me that the ball joints needed replacing. Me being a mechanic my self figured they would, but still got the second opinion. After replacing the wheel bearings/hubs and the upper and lower ball joints on both sides, I returned to F&F Tire here in Belvidere to have the alignment done. After he finished the alignment he told me that he adjusted the camber, and the tow in. The Truck drove nice after. After driving for about a week I noticed the front end camber was off, almost looked as if the ball joints were bad again, that lead me to notice that my front tires were wearing on the inside edge. So I brought the truck back into F&F Tire. After they put it on the lift they began to tell me that the upper ball joints were bad AGAIN, and that is why the camber is off. I argued with them, “again” being a mechanic my self that the ball joints were fine. As we were looking at the front end I noticed that the camber Adjustment bolts hadn’t even been touched. Reason I know is I had painted the frame and all the front parts black prior to bring it in the first time, there for there would have been paint chipped off the bolt heads from turning them to adjust it. I pointed this out to him and he claimed that he didn’t have to adjust the camber. BUT WAIT! You told me when I first brought it in that you had adjusted it and it even stated on my receipt. Also he quoted me $75 to do the alignment but then charged me $120. The man I dealt with name was Lee and I will never go back again. They are con artists and liars. They Deliberately ripped me off and had ever intentio of doing so as they knew exactly what they are doing.

On August 7, 2018 we experienced a car tire malfunction, due to loose wheel studs, which had previously been serviced in Jefferson City, Mo. Tilfords Auto towed us to F& F Tire World, located on 520 Logan Ave in Belvidere. Ill. We were advised that Lee, the store manager, would be able to assist my son & I, as we were stranded in illinois,, and it was near closing time. We received outstanding customer service from Lee!! He told us that the rim would need to be replaced, and that it may be a day delay to locate this item. He assisted us in locating a motel room for the night, and since it was close to his home, drove my son & I to the motel to stay for the night. He also offered to arrange a taxi pick up, if we wished, once repair was completed. The rim was not available for the repair to be done until Thursday August 8th, due to none being available in Illinois. Lee located one in Indiana. He kept us updated, on his findings daiily. He finished the repair as quickly as possible, apologizing for our delay. We were extremely pleased with the courtesy, and outstanding service from Lee & his staff!!!! We highly recommend F & F Tire...fair prices...great service!!!

This place is horrible, they are nothing but a bunch of cheating crooks, wish I could give them negative stars. 2 or 3 years ago they may have been good but now they are just ripping people off. took my truck here and they didnt even fix it correctly, when I brought it to their attention the very day it was fixed they told me to bring it back Monday or Tuesday so they could take care of the issue. I brought it there, waited 3 hours and then they said they could fix it but it would cost me $150 to put on a $20 hose that would maybe take them 15 min and was something they should have done in the first place as it was part of the reason I brought it in. I ended up doing it myself with nothing more than an adjustable wrench at home in about 30 min. I was just hoping they would own up to their mistake and fix it, instead they overcharged the first time, didnt do it right, and expected me to pay for labor that should have already been done. Not to mention trying to charge an exorbitant amount. Never Again will I set foot in this place.

Called and asked how much an allignment cost, they told me $85. After said allignment was complete the price went up to $100, they said because i have aftermarket suspension the price would be more, which is completely irrelevant considering its all oem replacement fitting... the manager talks a good game and assumes you know nothing. Also they charged me $50 for a 1 weld that took 5 minutes to do... grand total after a $10 fantom charge was $160 overall bad buisness. Will never recommend or use again.
