Needed a small run of aluminum profiles urgently for a construction project. Very specific sizes in small quantities. Our search led us to Metal Supermarkets who claimed to specialize in exactly what we needed.We worked through the quote process with Morris. He was extremely informative and recommended the correct gauge and type of aluminum to use for the angles we needed. They were actually able to cut the exact lengths we needed and bend then to the necessary angles. This spared us the HASSLE of ordering metal from one place and taking it somewhere else to be fabricated. Their prices seemed very reasonable for the scope of work and they were willing to deliver to us in Northern Virginia.We were very satisfied with the end result. The parts were received on the promise date and were cut to specification. From Morris, to manager Carlos, to the delivery driver, we were provided with excellent Customer Service and will definitely be sending them work in the future!

Respectful, fast, and affordable. I called same day and got what I needed despite not having a commercial account or an account to begin with. If you have shopped for metal without any knowledge of the industry, you likely understand how hard it is to find a supplier that will sell you one of this or one of that that isnt a tiny piece or requires you to buy a pallets amount just to even consider you as a customer. I will be in touch with these people in the future for other projects and I suggest you should too.

A lot of products available and quick service. The website could use a little bit of work - the ordering process is a bit confusing. Need a dedicated person to do the phone work. I had to call a number of times to get an answer.

Reasonable prices and the no minimum order policy, plus the quick feedback from staff on whats in stock, mean that I can get what I need quickly. Having a store within driving distance is a nice plus, too.

Metal Supermarket exceed my expectations when making a replacement Trunk lid for my pop up camper. I highly recommend their services.

Metal quality is great, prices are good. HOWEVER make sure you check your credit card that they charge the correct amount, they accidentally charged $2100 (!!!) too much on my credit card, as compared to what I ordered. The security of your credit info is not what you would wish it too be.[EDIT] from one star to 4 stars, as this issue was properly and professionally resolved in a fast matter.

1st time going there, but surely not my last I was blown away by the customer service both on the phone when I called and when I went to receive my order. The respect and professionalism that I experienced is the main reason I am posting this. There are few companies now that treat people with this type of behavior professional, helpful, and a sense of eagerness. The folks at Metal Supermarkets are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Im an ordinary homeowner, and I can always come to Metal Supermarkets to quickly get what I need. Today I got a 40 x 48 piece of 1/4 thick diamond tread steel plate for use as a draft cover for my wood fireplace, and it was cut to size for me and loaded into my car within minutes.

I randomly found this business with the help of google. The staff was extremely helpful. The guys were quick to help me figure out what I needed without me even knowing what I needed. It was great service. I was able to walk out with the piece of metal that same day! Super easy to find. Habla Espanol !

After placing a quote for material listed as available I was told they dont do that and directed to call my local roofing supplier. If they dont supply copper sheet why is it available to request a quote? Complete waste of time.

I was very impressed with this metal shop. The guys up front were super professional and super helpful. I was allowed to walk in the back and Alex was really helpful with recommendations and suggestions for my unique. I was amazed at how clean and well kept the shop was. They really went out of their way to assist me and help. These guys also even threw in the few cuts for free and and really helped get the project going. Carlos runs a good shop!

Drove 60 miles to have the wrong order wasted two days where are the negative Stars

An outstanding business - that I will return to for all my metal needs.

Became the most unprofessional metal shop. Because of COVID-19 they work via phone only and the guy whos receiving orders cannot calculate ft to inches and back, Im not even talking about placing an order for a simple metal structure over the phone.Terrible management.

My go-to metal supplier. I have a small shop without room for scraps so buying only what I need is a HUGE plus. The folks here are very courteous, helpful and lnowledgable. Three thumbs up!

Whats not to like! They had what I need and they turned it around quickly. I spent a day and a half at the box stores and online at the general industrial suppliers and couldnt find what I needed. They had it in stock and custom cut that afternoon.

Its very convenient to walk in and walk out with some metal cut to your size. The downside is prices are a bit high; especially if you dont buy a full length stock. The real downside is that their ordering system makes it real hard for a customer to figure out what a stock length is and do price comparisons between similar metal profiles.

I always receive prompt, curteous and helpful customer service. I find a vast selection of metals, always quality and quick delivery.

A s a small customer I was extremely impressed with the level of service provided by the staff of Metal Supermarkets Beltsville location. They walked me through my options (small cylinder steel) needed for an unusual project (steel trellising for a fruit arbor).
