They were transparent about their pricing and competition.

The folks there were very friendly and helpful. Had just what I needed for my fireplace repair.

Needed 23 extra bricks veneer along with one capstone for a project at home. My local store did not have it, or the one extra capstone I needed. So, I drove on a Saturday over 90 miles to the nearest MM to pick up the capstone and to see if they had the brick. I got my capstone, but they would not give me the 23 bricks I needed, even though they had 800 in stock. I was told to order at my local MM, as they were not authorized to sell me the brick because a supervisor was not in the store on Saturdays. That week I called my local MM which told me they were out of stock. I decided to call the store I went to see if a supervisor can release the bricks. The supervisor was able to release the bricks but I was told to come down and pick them up. I asked if they could be shipped.....why not? They ship them online. I was told no you have to pick them up. I asked if they would be available online soon to order.....I was told 4 months from now..So they wont ship, they are not available online, and I have to wait till 4 months. And on top of that their best suggestion is to drive back to the store in which just came from a few days earlier to pick up the brick that they now decided to release to me. You talk about lousy customer service.

I went in to purchase a very small amount of materials for a propane forge project and knew nothing about fire bricks, I walked out with exactly what I needed and a lot more information. P.S. my forge is still running two years later with the same bricks and Im about to see how they can help me with making a crucible and mold for an engagement ring. Great people and great service, despite the reviews complaining about an inconvenience that couldnt be helped.

Great selection of cement based materials

I have had the total opposite experience from the other reviews here. They are very helpful. Very knowledgeable about their product and their prices are comparable to the big box stores. I have been in there several times now and have also made several phone calls. I bought bricks for a fire pit, pavers for a small 28 sq foot patio and will be building a much larger paver patio. They have always been helpful and even gone the extra mile to provide great service. I will continue to purchase their products.
