Some 12 years ago, I had Jeff Caldwell of Heating Green recommend heaters for the various spaces in the house I was building. I have had no problems with the heaters whatsoever. Love them! No ductwork to worry about and very clean heat. I supplement with wood heat to save on my electric bill and because the heat is more friendly. These are the heaters of the future. Install them as recommended and they are maintenance free for many years.

Vermont winters can be a bit on the chilly side. In particular the last few years my goats struggled to maintain their core body temperature. Goat coats provided some relief but also caused less formation of cashmere and thick hair coats. The goats are small Nigerian Dwarfs and with only three it is really hard to endure weeks of minus 0 degree temperatures. After a few unsuccessful attempts to provide forced hot air heat I finally invested in insulating a stall (approximately 15 by 15 and 8 high ceilings) and purchased a 1,500 watt cove heater with a plug- in portable thermostat. Jeff was extremely helpful in guiding me through the purchase, installation and mounting process. He even sent a video showing me how to accurately connect the colored wires. The system was truly put to the test winter of 2018 with many stretches of below zero down to -20 degrees. The stall temperature remained at 20-28 degrees above zero and while this is still cold the radiant heat did just that, it heated the surfaces. It was just like standing outside when temperatures are below zero with the sun shining. The surfaces remained comfortable, especially for me as I completed chores throughout the day. This year I am purchasing another cove heater as the price and heating costs are reasonable and best of all it works. My monthly energy dropped from $150 per month to $60 per month after insulating and installing the cove heater and we we all comfortable. Purchased several panels almost 10 years ago for home and they have worked very well heating a large room along with a small under desk size panel for a small half bath. Cost a bit more in the short run but very worth it in the long run. They work great heating objects rather than air making them both efficient and highly effective. Bought four more for business use last year that are working great this winter. Then over the holidays we had a hiccup with one of the thermostats after almost a decade of use and we received prompt reply with a solution by first thing Monday. Very responsive support!

I own an under desk heater and it is awesome! It is the best way to heat yourself at your desk. If you have a new home office and you dont want to heat the whole house, this under the desk heater is for you! I cant wait to explore the out of door / backyard heaters they now sell. I was excited at the prospect of having high quality heaters and was willing to pay a premium. However, after receiving the heaters, it has been very difficult.First, we paid extra to have the heaters powder coated and it arrived looking like it was from scratch and dent. Something is wrong during the manufacturing process because there were chips and scratches in the same locations on all heaters.Second, the plates for the switches were dented in the same place, further suggesting issues with the manufacturing process.I called to tell Heating Green about the problem and they were very pleasant but seemed to have their hands tied by the manufacturer, Infratech. It’s been almost 2 months of back and forth for a small offer of a credit. I had an electrician come to install and wasn’t about to pay for a second visit due to manufacturing issues.Bottom line is, you are stuck with what you get. Order with caution. It is difficult to know how the heat will feel and the difference between a 4000 vs 5000w element. If you are wrong in what you think you need, you cannot exchange. Instead, you will need to pay for a new set of elements in full.Good idea for heaters, poor execution and poor customer focus from Infratech.

The company is local and stands behind their products. As well, they know their products and can help one choose the best heating unit for the room you are looking to warm. We installed two separate cove heaters in each bedroom in our home - each set on a thermostat. This allows us to lower the overall heat of the home during sleeping hours and still maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature in the rooms. They are easy on the pocketbook and look good once in place. The cove heaters are quiet and warm the space quickly.

I love their heating panels!! I have my own hot yoga studio and its a little bit of heaven. I researched panels and companies for a long time. Hands down they were the best. Easy to call and talk to as well. Would use them again!

I purchased the under desk heater over 10 years ago and its still working great! I have a home office and I prefer to only heat the area where Im working. The heater has its own thermostat that controls the temperature -- shutting off automatically when it reaches my desired temp, and then kicks back on when the area starts to cool down. Very happy with this product!!

Jeff helped us design the heating system for ourcottage and it has been working perfectly for us for8 years now. We love it because we had lots of ceiling area but precious little floor space so being able to mount the radiant panels up above was a great solution. The heat is more than sufficient for our two levels of living.Even with renters keeping the thermostat control on 80 in the coldest months of winter., the electric bill never topped $200. Also there was not the dry air, dust bunnies and noise element of a baseboard heat system. A great alternative toTraditional heating systems no question.

I have a basement and two upstairs bedrooms that would get cold in the winter. We used to heat them with small space-heaters, but this looked messy, and I was concerned about leaving them turned on when we werent home. Heating panels from Heating Green were an excellent way to quickly provide heat in both of these spaces. They provide a non-intrusive and pleasant source of heat on cold days. I love my heating unit and thermostat in my pool room. I keep it on all winter because the hot tub is right outside the door. We love how inexpensive the unit is to run all winter. I have never experienced a more efficient heating unit.

My 750W Ducoterra Heating Panel and Thermostat work great. I installed the panel to heat a 128 square foot shed where my future Zen Float Tent would be. The Float Tent is in, and I’m able to keep the shed at 72 degrees. The infrared heats the surface of the tent nicely to reduce condensation even as the outdoor temperatures are dropping to 30 degrees. I’m currently experimenting with keeping the room at 85 while I float. Thank you Heating Green!

This local Bellingham WA company did a great job guiding us to the correct product to add infrared heat to our bathrooms. It was recommended by our electrician. It is amazing how warm the rooms are now and how comfortable they feel.

These panels are a game changer. Purchased for my hot yoga studio June of 2016- It took some time to get the vibe of them, how fast they heated the room, inside vs outside temps, setting up the timer for automatic turn on and shut down but now it is seamless and effortless. I LOVE THEM. They are AWESOME.

The people I spoke with at Heating Green were very nice, but the heaters are a bust. I got the 1500 watt cove heaters (Two of them) for supplemental heat in a large space. Maybe not a great application, but I must say that the output from these heaters is very subtle, hardly noticeable even when standing directly in front of them.

Do not do business with Heating Green! They will definitely use a situation that you wouldn’t spend time and money to take down panels already installed to return them. On top of that they charge 20% restocking fees and you ought to pay for your own shipping cost although the panels are defective.I wanted a heat panel that would give me an instant heat in my master bathroom prior to taking a shower. Jeff gave me options for me to choose: ray panels and cove panels. So I took ray panels that could fit in to flat ceiling. But, the panels didn’t work. They stayed at 65 degrees for over 4 hours and never gets warmer. Bottom line is that Jeff recommended and sent me a wrong heart panel. Who would want a heat panel that takes hours to heat up before jumping in the shower???? When I contacted the company, the owner Matthew asked me to pay for a shipping cost and said I would lose 20% on restocking fees. Then he said because I chose the ray panels when Jeff offered me to choose one out of two panels: Ray or Cove panels, I am fully responsible for a return.This is crazy!! I as a customer didn’t/ don’t have knowledge on the panels but depended on what Jeff had to say. They don’t care if their panels are defective or not. They WILL charge you when you return the heating panels. Don’t even buy heat panels from this company HEATING GREEN.

We operate a yoga studio in a heated 2nd floor building with one exterior wall .Located in Portsmouth NH, a cold New England state in the winter/ We purchased the cove heaters and a wifi thermostat. We have been more than delighted with the results of the installation. The morning classes are ready at temperature when the instructor enters. Students thoroughly enjoy the heat and find it so relaxing. The vinyasa classes students are more flexible and the restorative classes students get into a very deep relaxation. We keep the room at 83 degrees because we have a wool carpet and wish to be perspiration free.The room is always ready with the programmable thermostat and we dont waste electricity with the auto shut off. They are so great we all would like to buy some for our homes.

I bought radient heaters for the bathroom ceilings. It feels just like summer on your skin. I no longer dread stepping out of the shower in the winter months. It even keeps the toilet seat warn and guests comment on the warm luxury. This company has excellent customer service and their products are made in America.

I cannot recommend Heating Green because their product was not effective, my refund was not processed when I returned it and they charged a hidden restocking fee. Details follow..I ordered a Ducoterra heating panel from them and it did not perform as advertised. There was very little heat which could not be felt more than a foot from the panel. I had contacted the manufacturer about my use case BEFORE ordering it and was assured that it would heat the small area directly under a ceiling-mounted panel 8-10 feet above the floor.Evelyn at HG helped me to troubleshoot and determined that the panel was not defective. That meant that it was ineffective and I was authorized to return the panel. I returned it immediately, packed in original materials and in pristine condition.After two months, I had to contact Heating Green to ask why I had not been refunded. They apologized, but then refunded only 80% of the purchase price. I asked why I had not been told about the 20% restocking fee and the response was “the restocking fee is standard procedure.”In the end, I paid over $150 for nothing but my wasted time.

We purchased themostats for our hot yoga rooms from Heating Green. We had an issue with one and they replaced it for free, no questions asked.

We bought heating panels for our Massage and Float Studio and are thrilled with the results. Most of our office is heated/cooled with an HVAC system, but we were looking for a way to heat our Float rooms separately. Clients shower before and after they Float in our Isopods so we needed the ability to keep the rooms at 83 degrees with no air movement for their comfort. Our heating panels are perfect, they feel like comfortable sunny rays and the tile on the walls holds the heat in so clients feel warmth from all around them. Jeff and Adam at Heating Green answered all of our questions and fit us with the perfect product for our needs, followed up with us through out the installation process, and came to check in on us after we were up and running. Highly recommend to any Float Studios looking for cozy heat!

Love my ceiling mounted heaters!

I used these guys for my first yoga studio with amazing results. The heaters arrived without any problems and both Jeff and Adam were pleasant and accommodating.So, upon opening a second yoga studio, I naturally went with the same company..I already knew the product and had developed a relationship with the staff. To ship heaters to Hawaii usually takes around 2 weeks, so I planned ahead and ordered them 4 weeks before I needed them.Earlier in the week (around 3 weeks after I had placed the order), I checked in with the company to see when I could expect them. Unfortunately, an error was made, and the heaters had never even been ordered!!!! My business had a set opening date and everything was riding on the final piece of the puzzle: the heaters. Naturally, I was super stressed about this...it could take another 2 weeks for them to get here! Not to worry, dear readers! Jeff (the owner) saved the day and completely rectified the mistake. He rushed the delivery and had everything to me in a few days and my business opened on the the anticipated date.So for my Third studio, I decided to go with them again as Id already used them twice and I felt I could trust that they honored their word.Big mistake.Due to the confusion the second time, I had an extensive conversation with one of their employees about Heater arrival times BEFORE I ordered them. I explained that I would set my opening date around the heaters arrival, so once they gave me an estimated date, I would announce an opening date based on that. I was told by one of their employees that the heaters would conservatively take 2-3 weeks to get to me. Upon payment of the heaters I was assured they would take less than 3 weeks to arrive. I never received a tracking number even though I emailed and called multiple times, so assumed everything was good to go. However, I called the company yesterday (3 weeks after I had placed my order) to check on the heaters and they conveyed to me that they wont be arriving for at least another week, which also happens to be AFTER my set opening date in 6 days.I called the company and spoke with Heather, who was VERY dismissive of me and not accommodating. She said I could pay $2,500 to overnight the heaters plus a 25% restocking fee for the other heaters. No other option for a solution. Plus she told me that heating green doesnt actually guarantee an arrival date. Ok.....so why say that the heaters would arrive in a certain time frame? Also once I got the tracking number (yesterday) it looks as though the heaters didnt even begin shipping to me until almost a week AFTER I ordered them, and then they werent on a plane until 3 days ago. Seems like someone made another mistake of not ordering the heaters...Another employee later called me to say sorry for the confusion. That he had meant a conservative estimate in a different way. But this confusion greatly effects my business as I am now forced to open without heaters. They have not offered to compensate me or assist in any way with this mistake.The MOST disappointing factor in this is that I have been a loyal customer of theirs for YEARS. Even when they made a mistake on my second order, I STILL went with them because I believed that they had integrity and follow through. Now that they have grown in size, it seems as though they dont care about me or my business anymore. Buyer beware. It means so much to me to work with a company that holds value in the longevity of their clientele. If this is the way they value my business, then This is the last time I use Heating Green.

I feel mixed. I received good service from Jeff and the original ceiling mount Ducoterra heaters were delivered on time at a reasonable price. I had lots of problems with the heaters not heating properly after installation and I am disappointed with the product. Turns out the panels were defective despite the fact that everyone at HG and Ducoterra told me that never happens it must be something other than the heaters.I finally got new panels from Ducoterra and had to pay $100 shipping to return the defective ones and pay more for my electrician to switch them out. The new ones are working but Ducoterra did not reimburse me for my extra costs and Heating Green seemed unable to help me.So, bottom line, Heating Green would get more stars except that they featured and sold me on this product that has disappointed me and causes strife since installation. I will not buy Ducoterra panels again.
