Some interesting donuts here. Had the Neapolitan, donut of the month, May 2019. Smaller donut with a big pile of whipped frosting and sprinkles. May not be an everyday donut but very good looking. The cinnamon roll was good. Nice visuals with the cinnamon swirls. Bit of a pastry texture.

Fancy building and fancy donuts. Donut is huge and taste good. We did not try their ice cream because that day was cold, but looking to come back to try it next time.

Their doughnuts are really good! Always fresh and never leaving you feeling heavy. Their prices are okay. My favorite is their Raspberry Bismarck with so much raspberry filling you wouldnt know how to even begin to eat it.

Stumbled upon this place by chance, not disappointed! Looking for coffee and wifi while shopping in Bellingham and the super-retro rocket out front grabs your attention! Great atmosphere, always very casual. Spacious sitting, and fantastic décor. This place is decorated with a retro sci-fi aesthetic, and keeps this theme throughout. Great doughnut selection that never disappoints. The ice cream here is also top notch, and both the doughnuts and the ice cream can be bought to-go. Sells coffee, though I would personally recommend either Woods or Black Drop right around the corner if coffee is what you are interested in. Worth a visit almost entirely for the atmosphere alone, if not for the great tasting treats!

Really yummy donuts!! Best ones hands down. Worth the money. The Bavarian cream filled ones were DELICIOUS. I usually get donuts from grocery stores and the middle gets soggy weird texture. (Gross) but the Bavarian cream I could eat on its own! The big Simpson donut I could split between 3 people. & really friendly staff. I will continue my 30 min drive just for these!!! YUMMY

One of my favourite spots in town for a sweet snack. The varied donuts that change over time are nice for trying something new and their unique combinations really make every trip worth it. I personally enjoy the bacon Maple log, a strange favourite for sure, but a constant for me for years.The rich ice cream, from Acme, comes in pints, as well as being able to just get a bowl or cone for eating right there. I have found the drinks can occasionally be on the blander side and they have less of a soda selection that many comparable locations, but its a small trade off for the enjoyment you get from the donuts and ice cream

Rocket Donuts is so good that Ill sometimes drive down from Canada, just to pick some up.They have a fantastic menu, the atmosphere is great, and their staff is always wonderful. They always have fresh stuff and they have gluten free options for people who need that.Also, if you head down there after 6PM, whatever remains is half price...so head out there at 6:01pm and score a huge box of donuts for like $12. Ill sometimes stretch south of the border shopping trips longer just to get a Rocket Deal.Whats even better is that if you call them BEFORE 6pm, you can request donuts that they will put aside for you and then give it to you for half price after 6PM. Like stepping back into years gone by. The staff is friendly, the donuts are fresh and great with a large variety to choose from. Local roasted coffee and seating to watch old time black and white sci-fi movies of space travel, and monsters. Buy and enjoy there or take home a dozen or so of your favorites!

Now closed permanently, this was once the only place in town to get vegan or gluten free donuts. Sadly, they were nothing special and often a little stale. The 50s decor and old sci-fi memorabilia will surely be missed, even if the donuts will not.

Have been to this location about a dozen times over the years. Have always gotten there before noon. And it is a hit and miss as far as the selection you will have. Donuts are generally not fresh tasting. They used to carry a half decent cronut but once again the hit and miss thing. It is nice that they have their own parking lot and offer ice cream. (have never tried it) Generally go in point to the donuts I want then just pay them in cash. If you look at their website the price of their donuts is not even on that. That is a big problem for me. Just give me the prices, plain and simple. No extra for this or that. Just a median price for all and make getting a donut simple.

Favorite donut shop! Rocket Donuts make the best donuts Ive ever had! And Ive eaten at lots of donut places :). Their old fashioned is a thing of beauty and my litmus test for a donut shop. Place is a blast from the past. I Love the vintage movie posters everywhere, and the staff is very friendly and patient. I was very impressed with the espresso (had a white mocha), and paired just right with my donut. Great selection. Heartier than a Tim Hortons donut, but crumbles well in the mouth and melts with milk/coffee.Very clean, great location near the park/river.

Had a chance to stop in this well furnished donut shop on a rainy day in downtown Bellingham. At first I was a little disappointed because it looked as if they were running low on donuts. But then out of nowhere a tray of fresh donuts appeared. And then another. And then another. By time I was placing my order I had a great selection of fresh donuts to choose from. I decided to go with the Bacon maple bar donut and a chocolate bar. The chocolate bar was delicious. Just the right amount of chocolate. But it was the bacon maple bar that really stood out. The bacon was this amazing complement to the maple sauce creating this hearty, sweet goodness. I would defiantly recommend this place if you are in the area.

What can we say elegantly about fried dough and sugar? Just this, Im so glad that Rocket Donuts is a part of our community, and I will eat one of your tasty treats every weekend till the day I die. Thanks for doing what you do! Our family appreciates you!

Excellent selection of tasty donuts at reasonable prices. The regular glazed are probably my favorite standard, but when I splurge its the maple bars, crullers, and generously portioned fritters. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had a problem during my first visit which was eventually corrected by the store to my great relief, because I would have been disappointed to not enjoy their donuts again. This is definitely my go-to place for donuts in B-ham.

Rocket donuts are a staple stop for anyone with a sweet tooth. The place is all sci fi themed and of course theres a giant rocket outside to make it even cooler. Acme ice cream is the thickest creamiest that there is. It isnt organic or anything but it does hit the spot. Its thick like custard and pairs well woth donuts. Yes. Get them both. Eat the things. You do it.

Im torn with this review. I went on a Thursday afternoon when donuts arent fresh. Considering locals love this place, I assume their donuts fresh are amazing. However, when I went, their donuts werent fresh and although tasted decent, they wouldnt be considered artisan donuts. I ordered the cinnamon twist and chocolate cake glazed donuts. Both were a bit hard and not super tasty. However, you cant beat the location being downtown Bellingham and they offer ice cream too! Its a good place to take your kids, but if you want artisan, unique donuts head to Seattle.

DUST EVERYWHERE !!!!! The next time you go to the holy street shop take a minute and look around at ANYTHING above eye level. This place hasnt been cleaned in what looks like years. Just makes me wonder if this is what I see, what am I not seeing......... you may be getting more then donuts to eat here.

I loved my donut and my ice cream! Mini blueberry fritter is exactly my favorite donut. The ice cream has a crazy consistency like taffy but melts in the mouth. And theres a big rocket outside!

Nearly in the heart of Bellingham, a very popular place for the various colleges in town. It has some very unique signature donuts. Beyond these speciality donuts, it is simply a donut shop, special because of its location.. downtown.

The blueberry cake donut is a triumph of fruity, doughy sweetness. While youre there try a scoop of gelato - I had a taster of an egg-noggy custard concoction with marsala wine, lovely.

Very good coffee and donuts! The yeasted maple bar had more the consistency of cake, and a somewhat buttermilk flavor to the dough. It was flavorful and honestly very good! The quality is excellent, my only note is that I would have preferred a more fluffy texture as in the classic yeasted donut.The theme is absolutely charming and seems to delight adults and children alike. Came at an odd hour on Monday morning and even then there were still quite a few customers... A well-loved local shop in an adorable location! Definitely worth a stop! :)

I dont think we have anything other than Tim Hortons in Canada so this was a treat. The exterior looks nice the Rocket is really cool it was a couple years of shopping at the soap store before we decided to try it and it was definitely worth it. Like I said here we pretty much only have Tim Hortons so this was a fun experience worh some pretty crazy selection of donuts. Im gonna have to try and come back soon!!!

This is a great place for Doughnuts. As a tourist disembarking the Alaska State Ferry, it was a chance to visit a true doughnut shop. The products are made fresh daily and the 50s syfy decor is Facebook post worthy!

This place was a huge let down. I expected something special. Instead all we got were crusty over priced day old tasting very plain ordinary donuts. I was even more let down by the mayhem in there. Little to no organization for people ordering/trying to view the case. The family in front of us had a handful of untrained brats that even after ordering stood in front of the case blocking from seeing much. Nor the family or the emoloyees motioned the kids to move. Their filled donuts had dry whip cream inside and not custard... the whole experience felt like a terrible trick. I rather buy from Haggens than waste my time, effort, money and taste buds again.

Nice atmosphere. Customer service was bad when I went. No greeting or recognition from employees. Food was good, but 2 stars due to hospitality and nothing set this over the top for me.

We drove from Vancouver to Bellingham and stopped into Rocket Donuts first thing in the morning. The service was negligible and apathetic at best. The girls were more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. The girl who took your order was sarcastic and acted as if we were bothering her. The donuts were stale and dry and lacking overall. The atmosphere was average for this type of establishment. The experience was generally disappointing. I think we are spoiled by the service in Vancouver. ( and the donuts are infinitely better at 49th parallel)!
