My folks went there twice said it was really good they took me there for breakfast turned out the hash browns were tough on the outside you had to cut them and they were hard to chew and all mushy on them in the middle no taste. The over medium eggs were good but thats it. The service was fantastic she even gave us off a little of our check because the hash browns bad.
No one is wearing a mask in the kitchen, our sever Beverly is wearing a mesh mask. Tables arent washed between customers. The whites of the fried eggs were still runny.
Well done hashbrowns mean well done. Not lightly cooked on only 1 side. Gross.
Delicious made from scratch meals. I had the two pancake, 2 eggs, and 2 sausage patties breakfast. Filled me up until dinner time!
Warning!!! Do not come here if you take covid-19 seriously, because they do not. The majority of the employees at this restaurant do not care to wear their masks when I brought this up to the waitress saying that I needed to leave because I didnt feel safe she said okay did not seem to care at all. I own a restaurant and we follow the guidelines for the safety of our customers and for our employees. We take this seriously because we care so much about our customers. It is evident that that is not the case here.
Tried Our Diner for the first time recently. Fun old-school dinner, very friendly staff. Portions are large so go hungry!

Question the mental health of anyone who takes the time to give bad reviews of small businesses (especially during a pandemic) and then compare them to McDonalds.The staff at Our Diner is patient, polite, kind and caring.The portions are generous, the wait is never long (even with limited capacity seating — my son and I got our food to-go before the 2 top and 4 top waiting outside were seated).The food is consistent in taste and quality.Classic American diner food with good drip coffee. What else do you want?
Food is delicious and consistent. Portions are very large and staff is so kind! My only complaint is that there are almost no vegetarian options available for breakfast that don’t involve meat, and no substitutions allowed which makes it near impossible. Even adding one or two more things to the menu that don’t include meat would make such a difference. Please update your menu with inclusive options!

FIRST TIME AND LAST TIME, the fries where AMAZING the burger was 2 little iddy biddy (not sure if it was beef) patties with absolutely ZERO flavor the lady said theyre really big seriously the single burgers at McDonalds where nearly as big. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME..

This is the best little diner Ive been to in a long time. The atmosphere is a sweet 50s style diner and is very clean, the food is reminiscent of good home cooking, and the staff is exceptional. This is going to be my new go-to place when Im in the area.

The portions were huge and delicious. Pancakes the size of your head and fluffy. Chicken fried steak with a rich creamy gravy and home fries perfectly cooked and seasoned. Love the decor and ambiance as well. The waitress was upbeat and welcoming.
Do you work out a lot? Is you metabolism astonishing? Perfect! Break out the stretchy pants and go grab some grub! Make sure to bring plenty of cash, not for the bill (because its pretty darn cheap) but to tip the staff. Also I suggest a second cup of coffee to stave off the food coma.

50s diner style with friendly staff, huge portions and great food. Recommend the hashbrown sandwich - yummy! They serve breakfast all day or you can get lunch (lots of great options there too). Youre out of luck for dinner so good thing the servings are generous - itll tide you over til morning. ;-)

Retro restaurant. Amazing place to go to with your family, very cheap. The food is great and our waitress was so talkative and fun. Amazing decorations and wonderful interior design. I would give five stars, but one small problem was the small bathroom. But besides that, I loved and I would come again.

This is one of the best places in town. Weve had different waitresses over time and theyve always been friendly and always checking up on us. It may be a tad bit of a drive, but always worth it.

This place was delightful and the service was great. The biscuit was huge and so flaky. I had a Buddy Holly (chicken fried steak and bacon with tomato and mayo). My girl had steak and eggs with potatoes. Everything was better than I could have expected, though I should have known, considering how packed the place was. I will definitely make this a regular stop.

Trust me its great from welcome greeting, to wait staff taking your order, refilling your coffee, 50s atmosphere, delicious food, big portion and reasonably price. Old time diner, great service, excellent food. Probably want to hide your Obama bumper stickers in this part of the country, but if you want great food for a reasonable price, stop here. Nice folks, enjoy the light pancakes, perfect bacon. Be hungry because they will feed you a lot.

Took a friend for lunch today. They let you seat yourself, immediately bring menus and take your drink order; Drinks on the table within 5 minutes.Great 60s diner menu with lots of sandwiches.The Patsy Kline (Patty melt) came on a plate overflowing with crisp crinkle cut fries. Side of tartar sauce 😋.My buddy opted for an omelette and OBrien potatoes with whole wheat. Big guy. Big appetite! Couldnt finish it!!Great waitress. $28 bucks plus a much deserved tip, and were rollin out the door.Great Happy Days decore. Always clean. My wife and I love this place.
You need to eat here. Seriously. Had a terrific cheeseburger and side salad for a measly $10.00. It’s not just a diner by name; it is the real deal. Take a step back in time and stop by for some great grub.

A very popular kind of 50s diner. Parking was limited (due to popularity), portions were pretty big, food was okay, decor was quaint and what you would expect... Did not have any pie, but it looked good.

It wasnt fancy, but I was thinking about how good that thing was for hours afterwards, which sounds stupid for a sandwich but.. well, I like a good sandwichHadnt been here before, but came with my dad while in town. Very local feel, and super friendly+attentive folks working there. Definitely on my list of happy little restaurants to return to

The breakfast portions are large for the price (especially the biscuits and gravy). Im definitely doing half orders from now on. Lol. The coffee was good and the biscuits were made for scratch kind of like a pan made corn bread. Their gravy has sausage in it but I dont know if it was from scratch too. My country fried steak was nice and crispy battered. All very good tasting.
Have enjoyed many meals at our dinner, the portions are LARGE, always cooked to our personal preferences. Babe & her staff are extremely friendly and helpful, smiles on there faces, & back for that coffee refill. Great atmosphere like a 50s diner.. very friendly helpful staff that remembers you! I thought wed try something different and go to the Fairway in Lynden for breakfast when we got there 10 minutes till 11 and they said they serve breakfast till 11 they said they are not serving breakfast anymore they change the grills early Well the heck with that!!!! We Split and came to Our Diner where we know theyll serve you breakfast anytime!!! Better food to!
Ive been eating breakfast sporadically at the diner for a few years now, and have only ever orderef the hash brown sandwich. Its truly amazing! On my most recent visit, I brought my boyfriend for his first time. He ordered the biscuits and gravy and we were both less than impressed. They tasted like instant mix gravy and banquet brand sausages. Thats the only reason I didnt give 5 stars! I will come back and try some new things to see if it was just an off dish.That hash brown sandwich will keep me coming! Highly recommend it.

Our server Claire was super sweet, sat us right away and came straight over with coffee. The food was amazing and they give you so much!
