Pretty frustrated... called ahead to see if they could do a full vacuum of my car. I was told yes over the phone. So the next day I came down to get my car vacuumed out. I had gone camping a few weeks prior so I have sand and dog fur from the pups in my car. Well, they take my keys and maybe 20 minutes later say its done. I get out to my car and the front is mostly done, but the entire back was not. The cup holders in the back seats are still filled with sand. They didnt even touch the trunk area. Dirt, sand and dog fur still everywhere. Im not happy.

When I think about my experience at Toyota of Bellingham, its hard to find the right words to express how great the experience was. Gerald is wonderful. He listened to all of my grumbles about my current car and put me in the car that fit all of my needs and wants and then some I didnt even know I had. We had an awesome experience! Our sales rep John was very welcoming. We already knew what we wanted when we got there and he jumped into action in order to get things all lined up. He took a test drive with us and ended up staying late to get our paperwork sorted. Financing was a breeze as well as signing all final paper work without any pushy additional offers. They took care of everything and even did extra paint touch up and interior detailing on the pre-owned Honda Odyssey we purchased from them. Im sure other dealers in the area are great as well but Toyota of Bellingham will be our primary dealerahip from now on.

This is only my second new car and the first was a tesla. The Toyota experience was not as good. Lots of employees running around but no one seemed to know anything. The guy helping me was nice enough, a bit car salesman like, a bit of a game. But the part I really objected to and Was surprised by was the little office and the little guy trying to sell me add on protections for my new truck. This left me feeling like I just spent 40,000 on a truck who’s paint job was not very good, rust protection not very good, upholstery not very good. Yuck. The real kicker is these plans to make my car better were not priced. They were not priced in absolute dollars nor even monthly payments but were presented in the sleazy car salesman approach of my total payment. Not even how much above my base payment but just net payment: for example my base payment after I rejected all this nonsense was $585. Option 1 gave me a payment of 707, option 2 685, option 3 650. So how much does each option cost??? If someone ever present something to you and does not share the real cost the obvious answer is NO. I just do not understand why these tactics still exist, Tesla avoided them. Then there is the inefficiencies of the paper work and pickup each took easily an hour longer than needed from just poor systems and management. Good luck Toyota.

Champion was easy to work with, great guy. At no time did I feel rushed or forced to make a decision. He took my needs down and produced exactly the car I needed. He let me lead the conversation on what I wanted and offered great advice.Great price and great trade in value on my existing car!The only critique that have is the fact paperwork always takes so long. Not anyone’s fault, it just takes forever.I don’t like the idea of GAP or Warranty but both are a smart purchase.Over all this team was tops.BONUS- All the staff wore their masks the whole time without complaining or asking to take them off. I took my vehicle in for an inspection, knowing there was an issue with my steering. They said everything was good, and everything checked out clean, even after I insisted multiple times there was an issue with the steering rack & pinion and steering column. To my knowledge they didn’t even take it for a test drive to check the issue.Not even 300 miles later I had a tear in my boot by the inner tie rod, I took it into a trusted mechanic and they said the rack, pinion and full steering column was compromised. They diagnosed this in an hour, and Toyota overlooked EVERY SINGLE warning sign for it. That, or they didn’t even look.Save yourself some time and take it to a real mechanic.

Nick was absolutely awesome. I had my Sprinter van in for two recall driven warranty repairs, which were accomplished in a timely manner. However, my request to rotate the tires was not fulfilled because of an apparent equipment malfunction. It was disappointing to have to make another appointment with a different shop.

Had a great experience with Dino in the purchase of my Tacoma. We drove up from Snohomish county since we got a great deal and the tax rate is lower so it was a win, win situation. Like most, I was honestly dreading having to deal with buying a new truck but it couldnt have gone any better or easier. The only thing was I had to wait for a little over 3 weeks for my truck to come in since I bought a truck that was not on site but arriving. The financing department was super smooth and easy as well. Our son bought his Corolla here a few months earlier and recommended we check them out and we are glad we did!

I called & left a voice message on 8/11/21 at 1:12 pm for service on my vehicle & never received a call back! Its been a week. This is not the first time this has happened. I stopped going here for my vehicle to be serviced months ago but was informed due to the issue my vehicle was experiencing, I needed to contact Toyota, which I was not excited about. Due to the many issues Ive experienced at this location in the last 7 years Ive owned my vehicle & the on going terrible customer service, Ive been taking my car elsewhere & suggest you do the same. I came here for a specific car with a rare combo of interior/exterior colors. Roy was an excellent salesperson and deserves more than five stars.As a woman, when car shopping, I take a guy with me as a test to see if the salesperson will respect me as the buyer even with a man present. You would not believe how often hey, its her car and her money goes in one ear and out the other. Not here! Roy respected me as the buyer, deftly dealing primarily with me while including the person I was with just the right amount to be tactful and polite. No gender bias here. I knew the car I wanted and from initially checking it out to test driving it to actually driving out of the lot, was only a few hours. Great service and of course, great car. Would definitely recommend this dealership and Roy specifically to anyone looking for a car.

I had a fantastic experience at Toyota of Bellingham. The vehicle I was interested in was scheduled to come in on freight but was delayed due to weather. Beckie and Richard both kept me updated on its status the entire time and gave me a timeline of when it could be expected. They both notified me the minute it arrived and even sent me pictures while I waited to get off work so I could go and sign papers. I arrived to a perfectly detailed vehicle with a giant red bow. Travis prepared all of my financing paperwork and explained everything in detail so I could make an informed decision. I had good customer service but the mechanic destroyed my vehicle. The drain plug was loose and leaking oil then upon inspection I saw they cracked my oil filter housing and ripped off the filter wrench notches. I lost all my oil on a cross country drive and now am stuck because short hours with covid and everything is closed early. So sleeping in my truck waiting to get it fixed. Being a mechanic previously they need to fire whomever my mechanic was. Update: called the service manager and never received a call back to date.

My mother-in-law dropped her wedding ring into the center console of my wife’s car. I tried everything I had to get it myself with an air gun and shop vac, no luck, and I wasn’t about to start breaking clips to get the cover off. Called to schedule, and didn’t even have to make an appointment. Tyler was really helpful, recruited Ryan to help pop the cover off real quick and retrieve the ring. No charge. Well, I did NOT have that experience at Toyota of Bellingham. Jordan Story was the nicest and most genuine sales consultant Ive ever met. No hard sales pitch and no pushy attitude. He just listened to what mom wanted in a new car and found her the perfect fit. It was truly a hassle free experience. And, since mom was hesitant to drive her new ride on the freeway, Jordan personally delivered it to her house! That went above and beyond our expectations. We went to look at a car we saw online at Toyota of Bellingham even though we ended up buying elsewhere it wasn’t due to bad service or pushy salespeople. Our experience was short but very good overall! We worked with Kai who truly cares about you safety and happiness. The vehicle we were going to test drive had some pretty concerning tire wear and he said he didn’t feel safe allowing us to test drive it that way and that as soon as the tires were replaced he would let us know so we could have a proper test drive. That may seem irritating to some but to me he put our safety over trying to make a sale. That says a lot in it self! Thank you Kai!

There service was great, they got right on my truck and had me out early. Their waiting room is inviting with a great coffee machine, and comfortable seating that is spaced apart for covid-19 protection. Their employees have always been polite and helpful.

There was some slight pressuring related to financing and times when we felt like we were not being heard in our negotiation, but with persistence left satisfied with our purchase. Gerold took time to help us set everything up and that paid off pretty quickly once we left the dealership. The final financing experience was also smooth and a welcome no-pressure situation.

They tried to add an additional expensive service but I took my vehicle to a certified mechanic not at dealership and paid significantly less. No surprise, dealership service is always higher priced and high pressure sales oriented.

I’ve been going to Toyota of Bellingham for years now and I always go back because of what great service I receive. This last time I went John Cabal helped me and he was so wonderful to work with. He helped me find a car that met all my criteria that I was looking for in a car and sticking to my budget which was important. With today’s cars there’s are a lot of new fancy features. I had an issue with my infotainment system on my Rav4. I was greeted promptly and escorted to the service area where Sabrina joyfully came to help me. She re-programmed the maintenance schedule feature for me. I tried doing it twenty times. She tried twice, then did it correctly.

Absolutely fantastic service and value! Gerald helped us through this important decision and made sure we felt comfortable with every step. The sales manager Richard was a great support during the process and we really appreciated everyones candid approach to what our interests and needs were. Andrey got us squared away with financing, he gave us all the applicable options for our situation and didnt make us feel pressured for a sale-the same goes with all the staff there. Everyone here is nice, friendly and professional. However with a simple 0930 appointment for an oil change turned into a 3hr waiting period. What takes so long to do an Oil change, Subaru dealer gets it done with no appointment in like 30 mins. Wilson is SLOWWWW, take a friend go shopping or fishing, youll be waiting for a while otherwise.

I recently had some maintenance work done on my Toyota Prerunner including a complete brake inspection, repair and replacement. Daniel Cox in the service department demonstrated exceptional customer service providing me with the sense that I can trust the folks at Toyota of Bellingham to do the work on my vehicle. Yesterday while driving in heavy traffic on the 405 I had to take evasive action in my Prerunner to avoid a collision. the traffic went from 60 miles an hour to dead stop with no warning. The brakes on my vehicle worked flawlessly. I immediately thought of the service work that was just completed and how thankful for a job well done. To Daniel, the service tech that performed the work, and all of the folks at Toyota of Bellingham I say Thank You!

I purchased a used 2013 camry that needed to have the bumper fixed. 2 months later I have to call to get my bumper fixed because seller forgot to make the service appointment. The seller told I would get a nice loaner to go around. Its been 6 days later. The loaner car its a tiny mitsubushi mirage and I called service two days ago wondering about my camry, and they told me I was going to get the car back by the end of the day, no call back. I cant believe that it took them about 3 months to fix a bumper of a used car I purchased from Toyota dealer. Makes me not want to come back to a dealer again.
