I Love this place :) They always have my favorite type of mochi and other merch that if I cant find anywhere else they have it. Furukake is my go to for steam rice Wednesday they have so many different flavors really hot/spicey to full umami flavor yaaaaas. speaking of steam i need to get me some bamboo steamers for manapua Mondays Hawaii thing. Anywho, go support your local Asian mom and pop store AOM is my go to for over 11 years.

Lovely little store. A wide variety of products despite how small their space is. The couple that owns it are very friendly and will give you suggestions if you ask them. My favorites are the Taiwanese instant flat noodles and the pandan coconut milk pudding.

Really over priced and the staff dont wear masks, they seem to think only the cashier ( who also keeps taking their mask off when not helping anyone ) needs to wear a mask. Unfortunately one of the only places to get things you cannot find at say Fred Meyers or such. They also force you to buy noodles 1 pack at a time only, I asked a worker how much a full pack costs and got shouted at that they only sell in single packs and to go grab a single one.

Used to come here all the time. Not as much variety anymore, and the owners arent the warmest but they have your necessary staples.

This place is small, but it has so many items. This is my fave Asian market in Bellingham! The ingredients and products are fresh and not expired. I recommend this market over other Asian markets in the city.

What a wonderful Asian market! I had a great experience there, the two ppl tht work there were rly friendly and helpful, and the store has a rly large variety of things, Like they rly hav EVERYTHING !! I got everything tht I needed plus sum new snacks to try out. I tried this one snack tht I absolutely love now, it’s the oishi prawn crackers spicy flavor, sooo good! And I tried a new flavor of pocky, the milk and honey, it is rly good also, and their canned bubble tea and Thai tea was soo good

Always a great place to pick up those ingredients you cant find at Freddies, or some tasty snacks. Family who owns it is very nice. Fantastic selection. I do wish they carried Yeos soymilk, maybe someday 😅

Fabulous, extensive, selection of sauces, noodles, condiments, soups, curries, sweets and produce. Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean and more. The best, fresh tofu in Bellingham! Owners are friendly and helpful! A neighborhood market of world tastes!

We LOVE THIS PLACE! And the owners are super nice and helpful. I tried the Asian Market further up Meridian (by jiffy lube) and it was no good in comparison (terrible fake ube roles with mystery purple paste but literally no ube in it, no variety of ramen...). This one has a much bigger variety of noodles and treats. Great ube rolls if you come on the right day when theyre delivered, ube ice cream, halo halo ice cream, thai tea ice cream, melona bars, almond cookies, green tea kit kat, green tea hello panda, jin ramen (the best one), green curry ramen, tikka masala sauce (tons of other sauces), thai tea, boba, every kind of mochi (mango is my favorite), they have a whole isle of different kinds of noodles, etc. etc. etc...

This store is blessed with the most caring and knowledgeable shop owners I have ever come across. They know exactly what their store has or does not have and exactly where EVERYTHING is !! One time I came in looking for something that I know they carry, but I could not find it in its usual place. I asked the owner and he went out back to the supply van to retrieve it. They just had been too busy to do shelf replenishment - they know exactly where Everything is, including the supply van. Where could you find such amazing shop owners? Their selection is more South East Asian than Far East Asian, and they have stuff that you could not even find in Seattle, Vancouver, or San Francisco, including some amazingly good Vietnamese instant noodle brands (recommend you try sth called Oh Ricey)

Theres a truly bodega style store with many different ingredients and items from Asia and south east Asia. Got some nori, Angelo Pietros sauces, green tea mochi ice cream, pickled ginger, and lychee Calpico. There were many types of ramen and noodles for all occasions. We were looking for a wok but only found the utensils for it.

Fantastic little store that has everything you could ever need to make your own asian dish. I have little to no skills making asian dishes, but my stuff consistently comes out as good, if not better than some of the restaurants in town. The owners are very helpful dont be afraid to ask for help!

After 5 years or so of coming here it’s always been a pleasure to shop here. Mostly come in for the drinks in the back fridges but always grab something to make because it’s all so good. Check it out even if you don’t cook a lot, good/easy stuff too

I went in with a list, found a couple things on my own, then asked for help. The lady was so helpful and kind. And then asked if I needed peanut sauce...I had those ingredients on a whole different list I had forgotten about. She helped me find all my ingredients for that too. Was very pleased with the politeness and helpfulness.

I am an avid Asian food fan and make a wide array of cuisines on a weekly basis—Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, you name it. This store has pretty much everything an authentic recipe calls for: spices, noodles, sauces, preserved and fresh vegetables, kitchen supplies, and on and on. Bellingham has barely palatable Asian restaurants—I’m always disappointed so I make all of my own AMAZING food, and this place makes it easy!! I love walking the aisles, such a unique assortment of items to look at! The owners are very nice and helpful, and make it easy for you to find what you need if you get overwhelmed with the selections. If this store ever closes, I would be absolutely devastated. This is a neighborhood market of all things Asian and a valuable little jewel. It is crammed with items for Asian cuisine and even vegetables and fruit. The prices are very reasonable and it is a fun place to shop and explore their stock. Recommend a visit.

Has anything you really need for asian cooking. Havent found a place like this in Bellingham yet! My only thing is that it is very small and heavily packed with stuff and not much walking room. As a Vietnamese man though I am glad I can finally find the Ingredient to make Pho!

For how small this place is, I can almost always find everything Im looking for. Today I wasnt expecting them to have the pho bouillon cubes I like using when Im being lazy, but they even had the brand I like. Its a fun and quick shopping experience every time.

Asia Oriental Market is a wonderful establishment. A small family owned and operated business in the heart of Bellingham Fountain District. Ive been shopping there for over 25 years and they have never let me down. Everything you could possibly need and more. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Weird mix of all sorts of Asian sauces, ingredients, vegetables, and treats.they have amazing deals on cooking items and and all sorts of practical items. Not such great prices on imported items like candies and snack foods.

The sweetest old couple owns this place. They have a great selection of dry and frozen foods. My one complaint is that prices can be hard to find on some items, and when you get to the register they seem to just eyeball your basket and throw out a price for everything. I havent been able to tell if thats a good deal for me or a bad deal....

The family-owned market makes excellent use of small space, cramming an impressive array of items on its shelves.While navigating the narrow aisles can be tricky, especially during popular times, its well worth it. You can find a huge selection of items from China, Japan, India. Dried soups, noodles, spices, canned goods, all sorts of sauces, fresh produce and refrigerated and frozen prepared foods. The shop has lovely pastries and snacks you wont find anywhere else in Bellingham. They even carry dishes and cups.The prices are very reasonable, the owners are friendly and helpful. Parking is normally easy (avoid weekend breakfast times when the nearby diner fills up.) Absolutely worth a visit...or several.

They have the best and most diverse Asian goods and produce in Bellingham by far. They do remember you if you are a repeat customer and who doesnt like that. Its easy to see in normal traffic but they dont have their own parking lot so be prepared to walk if there are no spots readily available on the road.
