The delivery was faster than expected, and the movers were professional and kind. The whole experience was just great. I was searching for the right piano for a year and walked into Northwest and there it was, a recently arrived Baldwin L 6 ft. 3 in. grand beauty from 1963….great vintage and one owner. This piano was obviously loved and cared for. The customer service was wonderful (hello Sherrie) from folks that love what they do and are very knowledgeable understanding how important a investment a fine piano is. When my piano arrived it was one of the happiest days of my life and it was very professionally delivered and set up.I would highly recommend Northwest Piano hands down and without hesitation. In a word, Northwest Pianos is Awesome. I wanted to find a nice piano for my daughter who is an accomplished pianist, so a quality instrument was on the top of my requirements list. Cheri of NW Pianos showed me dozens of potential choices from their huge showroom, gave me all sorts of info to quide my selection, and then backed off and let me play. I ended up choosing a beautiful vertical Yamaha. Yes, the instrument was a few years old, but in excellent condition. This allowed me to get top dollar. All the pianos they offer are in excellent condition due to the in-house tech that knows his business like a wizard. Great Bellevue location, wonderful people, and they even arranged delivery to Wenatchee.

We just purchased our second piano through Northwest Pianos and couldn’t be happier. Because of their 100% trade-up policy, we were able to trade in our upright for the full amount we paid for it and put it towards a baby grand for our music studio. The whole process was incredibly simple. Our sales rep was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The movers who performed the free delivery (and haul-away) were real pros. I have no complaints. It was a fantastic experience start to finish.

I researched online for a digital piano and decided on the Privia PX-870. I wanted to look at it first and if possible buy form a local company. When I called, Cheri confirmed that they had it available in the showroom. When I arrived they had a large showroom with about 100 acoustic and digital pianos. There was a smaller showroom with high end pianos as well, and a private lesson going on in another room set up for recitals. As I am a beginner, Cheri was happy to demonstrate some more complicated songs, and some of the digital features as well. All in all a great experience, without the hassle of delivery, and they have a trade-in policy if I want to upgrade to another piano in the future.

The store has a couple of rooms that are available during the business hours. And it doesnt cost you an arm and a leg. You can pay per hour or purchase a punch card for several visits. Every time I walk into my living room, I see our new piano and smile when I think about the great experience I had at Northwest Pianos.My kids and I had visited a number of local stores where several salespeople tried to pressure me into buying expensive acoustic pianos with the digital pianos will ruin his technique sales pitch even though I explicitly stated I needed a digital I could plug headphones into, as we have a small house and all 4 of us play. One sales rep saw my three year old playing and rudely implied I wasnt good enough to give him lessons myself, and should opt for one of their teachers.Cheri at Northwest Pianos was such a pleasant surprise. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome. While we were there, I felt as if we had been invited over for tea at her home. Cheri helped us find a piano that fit our needs perfectly. The showroom is spacious and beautiful; being able to play the many different types of pianos was a great help in narrowing down our decision. Cheri was also prompt and responsive in emails.When she saw I couldnt fit the box into our small sedan, Cheri, who is the showroom manager and has been here for 7 years, somehow found time to personally deliver our new Casio PX-870 to our home in her SUV. When I struggled with deciding on the right piano bench, Cheri sent me home with an older, solid wood Yamaha duet bench they had in the showroom to tide me over until I made a decision. This bench made me realize the duet size was important to me and saved me from ordering a smaller bench online and having to return it. I ended up refinishing it with my son, which was an adventure in itself =)Im not sure if Im going to end up taking advantage of the amazing trade-in policy, but the peace of mind it provides is fantastic.And yes, I could have gotten the same model from an online retailer for about 12%-15% cheaper (no tax, nice bundle items, etc), but Im proud to support such a great local business and will continue to do so in the future.

Just moved to this area recently and wanted to find a good and reliable used grand piano for myself. I was planning, if I could not find a good and reliable used one, I would get a new grand piano. For giving little bit background, I am a professional pianist/piano teacher in the field, and I spent almost one month doing my personal research on finding the grand piano, literally, from early morning to mid-night everyday. During the hunting process, I tried over hundreds of used/new grand pianos in the greater Seattle area, and believe or not, I also traveled to Portland to compare the grand pianos during the weekend. The good parts for this store are that they have a big amount of used grand pianos; they have a honest sales manager, Terry, for giving a reasonable price with a good used grand piano; they have several piano technicians working here and there. Their managers want to make sure that you are satisfied with the piano and service. As the result, it turns out that nobody else can provide such a competitive price with the quality of the used grand piano with the after-sale service in this area. Therefore, this store deserves what they have earned from my part, and I will be waiting to set a schedule with their piano technician to work on my piano after the dlivery. : )

I have been playing piano for more than 15 years. When I was young, I always been wanted to buy a grand piano and play it at home. However, my family was poor back then, the grand piano had become my dream.I walked in Northwest piano a couple weeks ago with the idea that they are just like any other piano dealers in the area, who were arrogant and prejudice. However, I was wrong. Cheri was so helpful and kind to me even when she knows that I do not have much money. For the first time I felt like that she was not trying to make money off me. She was only there to help me find a right piano, because she told me she loved my music.Cheri was very patient. I still remembered that she had to charge my credit card through 4 different transactions in 4 days. She had to come in to the store even when she was off just to help me with my credit card transactions.The whole thing took about a week, and I was finally settled on a white 55 Kawai grand piano.

Both Cheri and Terry have been working there as long as Ive been working with them. I have never felt pressured to buy something or go beyond my budget. The selection at Northwest Pianos was the best around. They had grand piano to electric, which catered to a verity of needs. They were no pushy sales associates and made me feel like family.
