I usually go through the self-checkout line before work in the morning. The last two times theres been technical issues with the machines. The first time I had to switch machines 3 times before I got one that was working. Today nothing would scan and the attendant walked by me and said youre fine and then it started working. Usually a pretty good stop in the morning but its frustrating when nothings working and the response from the staff is indifference. I dont understand why the machines arent working.Additionally, I had to walk through two meetings in the middle of aisles where the employees seemed oblivious to the fact that there were customers in the store. Sorry, normally a good place to go. Not for the past couple of weeks.
Really liked this Fred Meyer. Good selection of foods.
Karla was very helpful. She made the return process very simple and quick for me. She was so kind and truly is a good representation of the store.
Clean store, nice staff, great layout.
I built my shopping list in the Fred Meyer app, but the majority of my items were not where the app said they would be. Took 25 minutes to find an employee who knew where they were. Other items were listed as in stock on the app when they were not. When I went to check out, prices in store were much higher than on the app, and they refused to price match. I ended up just leaving.Highly recommend avoiding at all costs, store is far too large and cluttered, nothing is where its supposed to be, and its understaffed to boot.
The store is new it looks nice unlike the old Fred Meyer. There were only one type of organic milk. I was hoping to find more selection since the store is huge.Bakery looks beautiful. It mentions their bread is hand crafted from scratch but some of the artisan bread seems like par baked. Also their work space is too small to accommodate all the bread they offer. So I wonder which bread is made from scratch at the store.Their beer / wine bar looks nice. They offers many selection of wine. There were piles of discount bread scattered on a table.
The store was redesigned and rebuilt a few years ago it is huge and amazing and you could probably be restricted to shopping only there for the rest of your life and not miss out on much. You can get some really great prices there *if* you pay attention and know what prices normally are and can recognize when something is too expensive or is a great deal.
Being from Dallas, I knew nothing about Fred Meyer. It is best described as a Walmart/Kroger/Whole Foods (bar/bakery/cheese)/Home Depot/Target/Home Goods.Honestly, was very surprised how large and diverse this store is, and it is also very clean too. If I lived here, I would likely go here for almost anything.
Great remodel on this Fred Meyer in Overlake. Heard that they spent between 40 and 50 million on it and it shows it looks great! Huge building and they pretty much have everything and anything you could want here. Theres a nice Starbucks inside with a seating area. They also redid the meat department the seafood department and the bakery department, looks a hundred percent better and much more variety. They also have a new wine and cheese Department that looks impressive. They also have all the usual things they have at a Fred Meyer, Garden Center, entertainment and electronics, Hardware paint department, jewelry department, clothing and shoes, housewares and of course groceries. If you want a One-Stop shopping center with good prices this is a good choice.
Seriously your stores produce department is gross just hands down gross with the amount of bugs flying around and bruised and unpurchaseable items and this has been the third week I have stopped by for a few things and same every time, especially the tomato, fruit, potato sections. Also if I wasnt paying attention today a marked down sausage package price $4.79 originally $13.95 wrung up the $13.95 but then only took three dollars off. Instead of ringing up at the displayed reduced price of 4.79. Thats 10 dollars of my money you would have pocketed. I can barely make ends meet and I will not shop here after this, absolutely ridiculous. But I know youll blame it on Covid and not on poor management.
Thousands of products stocked up in this enormous building.. Gives great experience for shopping. Fresh vegetables and fruits are available in reasonable price. The garment section has offers throughout the year.I like the kids section (garment)here. Also flowers are very fresh and comparatively low cost. Friendly and Helpful staffs, who are enthusiastically managing the large crowd over the weekend.
I had no idea that the Garden Center closed before the rest of the store did! But, as I was sadly looking at it, a fella who was wheeling around a freight cart noticed me and asked if he could help. I explained, and since I knew exactly what I wanted, he was kind enough to open the door for me to slip in and out with what I needed to buy. I believe his name was Samarth. Anyway, definitely a good Freddys here.
Retrain cashiers: Ramya was serving as the cashier. She took the customers change and placed it in the donation box without asking first. It was not much money but it was not hers to give away. The customer was upset and requested her full amount of change back which caused a slow down. The customer then proceeded to recheck all their items without moving, causing yet another massive slow down. Who knows why, maybe the sneaky actions of the cashier caused the customer to become paranoid. The customer then tried to speak with Ramya regarding items but she directed her to the customer service line. When I was checking out, she opened my produce bags and molested my produce with a dirty gloved hand. The glove, which torn and stained, was obviously not changed after dealing with money from the previous customer. I told her I no longer wanted those items and she shot me a dirty look. She also bagged Insect killer spray with my other food items. I asked her to bag separately which she did. What a horrible experience.
It’s a clean location and has a lot of parking, but handicap spots are normally full and I have to walk much further to get inside. Apart from that it has a decent selection overall, I definitely recommend prepare for long lines at your check out.
I went in to this Fred Meyer to help my very pregnant cousin shop when we had a very rude encounter with the manager of the front end. The self checkout machine requested help from the attendant so we waited while the attendant - who was the manager at the time - asked us in such a rude way, “do you need something?”. The manager, Miriam, fixed the issue on her hand held without telling us or saying anything else to us at all. When it was brought up to her about the way she spoke to us she shrugged her shoulders and said “oh well”. Her attitude needs to be fixed. I’m not sure how she is a manager with her lack of customer service.
Great service. They go above and beyond over here at this Bellevue Fred Meyer. You will notice this store is always super clean and the staff is always kind. go see for yourself!
If you like waiting 20-40 minutes to check out on every visit, any day any time this is the store for you. Self check even has slow lines here. The cashiers look depressed and move at a snails pace.
At 6 pm at least 30 people were waiting to check out. Only two check outs and the self check out were open. That left 12 closed check outs closed at the busiest time.Fred Meyer seems to be losing its edge.
This is the place which offers unlimited shopping experience. Organic items here are really good n fresh, it offers lower best prices on fresh produce. Starbucks coffee is in store for a great sips, playland available for ur kids to njoy while ur on shopping. Wines also available for low prices, great fresh meat n seafood available. Kitchen, homeware, home decors n furniture items here are awesome but lil expensive. Pharmacy here helps u get with medicines and quicker doctor visits n vista optical section for eye test n glasses. Unlimited variety of toys available for kids to shop here. U can spend hours here shopping as this is one for all place to hangout with kids also. Garden centre here is beautiful with all varieties of plants that u can shop for.
19 carts deep in the two open registers. Killing me smalls
Smaller organic section, need better fruits.
Excellent store! This is a very well run Fred Meyer. We have now made this our main shopping store, even tho the Redmond one is closer. The Bellevue store is well stocked, employees are friendly and helpful, and it is always clean. Thank you for a great shopping experience. We cannot say enough about how well this is managed.
Today I bought a dining table set from this store. I regret not remembering the names of 2 employees who helped me and my husband to get it to the car and load it on the roof. Both gentlemen were so sweet and helpful. They did not just brought us a heavy box and left us to figure out the rest, they made sure we loaded it and would be able to get it home safely. They did not do it because it was their job, because it wasnt. They did it because there were such amazing and caring people. I hope they will be recognized.I am a regular in this store as I live nearby and this experience just made me love this store even more.
I don’t think that I need to justify this rating.. Happy to have this Fred Meyer in the neighborhood..
Usually great experience with finding what you need, always clean well organized staff is often helpful highly recommend this location for day to day needs.During the rush hour too many people in the store and some people don’t keep the social distancing,You can find almost anything you need but not the men rain boots specially you need that a lot in Seattle because it rains a lot unfortunately you can’t get in here this branch. You should put men’s rain boots with many options I’m sure you will sell a lot.
Nice new design, clean layout, and new clean children hour long shopping drop off. If you are looking for a place to get lost shopping in where the kids are looked after stop by this newly renovated mega shopping center. The sushi bar has a great team working there. Plus the store has a high end cheese area worth its weight in Brie!
Karla customer service teller was awful and extremely rude. Not very helpful and overly ignorant person. She shouldnt be in front of the customer. Just a terrible experience for no reason at all.
The pharmacy at this store is beyond abysmal and repugnant. There is a lady in the pharmacy section who doesnt have basic etiquettes to speak with customers. I dont know whether she has been trained by the store and the company or not but she should learn some basic manners. If this is the way she speaks to every customer, then wonder how the pharmacy section in this store works. Its a shame that Fred Meyer keeps people like this in a section like Pharmacy where compassion is needed the most.Dont know whether that lady was a pharmacy technician or a pharmacist, but it was the most disgraceful and awfully rude conduct ever that I have seen in my entire life.Safeway has a much better Pharmacy than this one. What a shame!
I love how there is a good variety in this store and it is kept clean for the most part. However, it is way too crowded and I have seen many people without masks here (now is not the time to not be enforcing the mask policy and violate social distancing). Even before COVID, the place was too crowded and parking was a pain in the butt. I only deducted one star because most of my problems are with the customers themselves and not the staff at Fred Meyer.
This particular store is vast with a wide variety of products in all price ranges. This season, the toy and holiday decor sections are stuffed, there is ample products in most product lines. My critique is on the short staffing of cashiers.I went at 8:45 am on a Friday and there where only two active check lines open (with self check also available). I dont understand the logic if a cashier can check out lets say 12 people an hour (estimating 5 mins per transaction) and the average cart is $100 or more, why is the number of cashiers restricted if they making a fraction an hour of what they can sell? Doesnt it make sense to maximize throughput? This time I ended up doing self check and those machines are irksome.
Goto place for my grocery shopping. On a rainy day nice place to get a coffee, (yes they have Starbucks inside) and shop for groceries. Clothes on sale were a deal. If only they add a stock of lot more Asian food items I wouldn’t have to visit a separate Asian store.
Do NOT buy Gift Cards from this store. I bought three $50 Fred Meyer gift cards on December 20. Today I gave them to a family in need only to find out the cards were empty. After being on hold for 40 minutes, I found out the cards were used two days later in the same store! Total SCAM! I will continue to pursue a resolution, but Im not confident. Somehow Im being treated like the thief. Sad.
Where are heating pads?No idea, not my department, good luck! -store employee.Star employees here
Great place for huge selection of groceries and home items.
Giving a 3 today after seeing up to 10 employees not wearing a mask appropriately. Masks do not belong below your nose while you are putting out produce. This contaminates the food. I saw another wearing a mask around the chin. Lots of nose hangers though!!!! This is GROSS! A mask needs to cover both the nose and mouth completely to be protective to the public and coworkers. Please retrain your employees on this to protect all of us!Dr. H
Wait times to check out during the busy hours are very long and not all cashier would open -- even when many people are waiting. Because not all people practice social distancing, busy check-out lines make the shopping experience at this store extremely stressful and uncomfortable. Everything else is fine, but that single issue makes SHOPPING at this store VERY RISKY!
One of the best stores around
I would give NO stars if I could. I have for several weeks seen Covid-19 vaccines are available at this site. But when I go to schedule, nothing is available. False advertising??????
Had to put some stuff back because line was too long and decided to do self checkout. Also spent 20 min driving to get a key made and when I called they said it has been a month that machine is not working and not sure when they will fix it!
Charging 80 cents per bag? I questioned this and the cashier said, 80 cents. Thats a lot of money. We pay for grocery at least provide the bag
Convient, parking a little crazy but ok !
They REALLY need more staff. The past few weeks Ive gone to this store there has been one checkstand open on a Saturday, with a line halfway to the back of the store. They should really pay the depressed employees more than 13 an hour for putting up with that absolute hell.
Good place to shop
Good prices, best deals on good quality supplies. Great variety. Only better prices Ive found around the area are at Costco, which is a high standard
For food and meat, it’s decent and honest and the prices are good. For clothing, it has been infested by those cool stylish clothing, not what I need and quite an eyesore.
Fred Meyer no longer allows you to carry bottles of liquor you are buying to check out after they unlock the cabinets. The representative I spoke to told me I could pick up the bottle in customer service after I had gone through checkout. This is next level stupid.
The only reason I come in is because it’s cheap and close to my house. Always over crowded with entire families not social distancing from others. Employees uncaring and unfriendly for the most part, and if you don’t have 30 minutes, forget about going to the customer service desk for returns.
Too many people in the store not social distancing or wearing masks. Needed three things...got in and out as quickly as possible! Trash/dirty parking lot too.
Some Customer service are rude and unprofessional. If there is option to put below one star definitely I will
Dont buy Pizza from thier food court. It is disgusting beyond belief. My gums are bleeding after chewing that junk. Really shocked by how bad it is. Even a frozen pizza tastes better at half the price.
I appreciate Fred Meyer’s deli for clearly marking Vegan prepared salads. I no longer have to wonder if plant based or animal based mayonnaise was used. I am so grateful. Also thanks for the healthy living section so I can shop all in one area. 90% of my shopping can be completed in 3 aisles. Also I love your app which indicates the aisle the item is on. Your store is so huge I’d give up without this feature!
I am giving 2 stats today because I absolutley love this store but today was horrible. Our cashier, Peace, was so RUDE! So we are trying to buy some discount lemon bars. She cant get the top bar code to scan so she flips them over, and not nicely. She then proceeded to look them at she puts them in the bag (the bag at this point is empty) sideways. Looks at them then puts them down flat. Looks into the bag then flips them over again. We get home and they are upside-down. We put more groceries away and find our beautiful chard at the bottom of a bag with 4 pounds of cheese on top of it with broccoli on the very top as if to hide it. Not happy.
Seems to have a good selection, orderly store, and exceptional customer service.
14 cashier checkouts yet they have only 2 clerks on 2 lanes open along with the few self checkout lanes on a busy Sunday at dinner time. Lines through the aisles. This is unacceptable and shows just how little they care for their customers and their time.
There are two rules of being a cashier. Put the meat in a separate bag and protect the bread. Cashier violated both of those. She put the bread in with lots of cans, and put the meat in with other food. I had to ask her to separate the meat. This is super basic, clearly management doesnt care.
I havent been to this store since the remodel several years ago. I have mixed feelings. The aisle layout is on the result of data driven analysis to maximize revenue per square foot. That being said the store is well stocked, sections are easy to find, and they have most of what one can expect from this type of store.
This place had everything! I was pleasantly surprised. Helpful staff and huge selection of food to furniture and everything in between.
This is specifically to thank Cake decor in bakery section ( Sorry I forgot her name). She was extraordinary and she didnt disappoint us both times when we ordered cake for baby shower and first birthday of our kid. She got them to the perfect match as we asked for.Bigg Kudozz to her.. Btw cake as well tastes yummy, that made me lost control of my mouth and calorie intake.. 😋
This store has a lot of great products at good prices. I almost always find exactly what I need and checking out is typically efficient.
I shop here often. I would normally give this FM a 3 star rating..same as the others, nothing special. But today they get 1 star. There was lettuce on the floor in the candy isle and I slipped and fell hurting my left knee. I told a worker who was nice, and apologized and made sure I was okay. The 1 star goes to Jessica my cashier. I bought a bottle of vodka and when she removed the security cap she opened the bottle and some of the vodka spilled out around the cap. She cleaned it off and put it in a plastic bag and pushed it off to the side. She rang up the rest of my order and gave me my total. I said arent you going to ring up the vodka? She said, oh you still want it? I said, yes, but I would like for you to get me a new bottle. She said, Ill ring it up but you have to go get your own bottle. I said, no youre going to call someone and have them bring me a fresh bottle. She turned her back to me and said out loud, oh youre going to give me attitude? She then picked up the phone and asked a coworker to bring me a new bottle. Congratulations Jessica!!! Your laziness, and horrible customer service skills gets you a 1 star rating. Ill be sure to avoid your line in the future.
I am an immigrant I’m from India and I want to say I’ve been coming to this Fred Meyer before it was remodeled. And I got to say this place is amazing because everyone has good customer services and they always care about the customer first. I feel like most places don’t care about the customer. They also have a good app for daily savings. Every time I come I feel special. I’m so glad they added a bar. I want to say thank you for taking care of me. Fred Meyer is the place to go in Bellevue it is The bomb
Not bad, but temporarily closed to massive construction.
Unbelievable... I was told at the service desk there will be Absolutely NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES during the pandemic. My wife bought me 2 pairs of levis that were too small. Within 2 hours of the purchase I took them back (with the receipt) to exchange for a different size. They tell me NO exchanges or refunds during the pandemic. That it was NOT safe for Fred Meyer to take back potentially virus ridden merchandise. (because it had left the store) Really! I said... Its already back in your store right here in front of you on the counter. So apparently its safe enough for the public to BUY Fred Meyer potentially virus ridden merchandise with our potentially virus ridden cash! Huh?The way I see it.. Fred Meyer (Krogers) is using this pandemic as an opportunity to bolster their bottom line. A legal form of price gouging in my opinion. Shame on you Fred Meyer for your exploitation.
Always liked this store, but this year the womens clothing was garbage. Ugly colors, cheaply made the prices for non sale items are ridiculous. If I want to pay those prices, Ill go to Macys where at least the quality of the product match the price. Too bad, I used to love the clothes there ☹
I know this is probably completely regional but at my house or is always safe to assume that the local Safeway will be missing at least one thing you need. Fred Meyer will have everything. Also, they have a pretty good bar inside.
Absolutely love Freddys, and this one is huge and has everything you could possibly want, tons of registers so lines move quickly, and still has self checkout lanes. Unbeatable prices and selection, and the best place to go for prepared foods hands down. Theyre choices are insane and delicious, and the bakery and deli are top notch. Great customer service, and everything you could possibly want in one place.
Much needed renovation just completed. Same location but interior feels like an airplane hangar. Layout is well organized and no longer cramped. To-go food area has its own self check out station and sit down eating area is now clean and spacious. Huge improvement from old store. Clean and modernized. Friendly staff.
FoodClothesYou know
Newly renovated store makes grocery shopping there a pleasant experience. It also has dedicated cheese area with knowledgeable staff who can introduce you on the large selections of cheese available. Overall a good place to shop.
Love this store
Fred Meyer is looks so great n service
Variety plus price
I use it for grocery pickups Sunday afternoons, the staff is almost always at your car assisting in loading the groceries within 2-3min of my arrival (that l very much appreciate) while also being warm, friendly and knowledgeable
Great store but very crowded. Lots of good deals. Most all the staff are friendly and helpful. But there is certain rude staff who are refusing to put discounts on items that are discounts and argue for 10 minutes with the customer and is very rude. I love the place but felt really disrespected and I have been shopping there for over 10 years and made me feel not like going back.
Best grocery shopping experience you can have! Wonderful service. And they have EVERYTHING. Fresh fish, specialty frozen dinners (which I previously thought was an oxymoron), clothes, shoes, natural body care products, $5 beer flight tastings...
Plenty of good parking spaces in the front at 9:00am. Many of the departments in the store were relocated (moved) during last years remodel but I was still able to find Orchid bark/soil in the garden department (Home Depot doesnt carry it). During my visit I saw numerous employees performing stocking duties. Store seems well staffed.
Great produce. Nice remodeled store! Love this place
A beautiful big store with a wide selection and large parking lot. The location is on a pretty busy road. Their cider/beer selection didnt have Magners, but thats rare anyway. Donut selection was pretty small at 7am, maybe all gone by then tho. V nice store.
Wow!!! 5 stars for this Fred Meyer. Such a great place to shop for the most one needs when staying in the area because of work. Great customer service and good food items to eat after shopping. I like how bus lines stop right infront of this place and off you go. 8-)
Excellent pharmacy. Newly remodeled store, very impressive.
Awesome store. After renovation it is well organized now. Very much clean, friendly staff and huge stock. Pricing of all products are very competitive. If you buy stuffs for 50 bucks here, you can save almost 8 to 10 bucks compare to other stores.
Good place to shop for groceries in Bellevue.
I pretty much only come here when I crave Boars Head deli meat. This store is MASSIVE. It is so difficult to shop a store that has everything for sale. If thats your thing, you might love it. They sell everything from sports equipment to car accessories to clothing to office supplies to furniture to groceries.
Helpful staff, decent prices (middle of the range), and a large selection from food to clothes, electronics to home goods. If you can buy it, its probably here. Nice central location and plenty of parking.
Fruit veggies, bakery, clothing, cosmetics.Something for everyone.I was looking for Rave apples and they had it.I even found the shade of lipstick I had been looking for a while.
