Local in store purchases of red caviar over many years. Both the frozen and refrigerated have consistently been excellent quality. Less salt with the frozen. We eat with toasted seaweed and sushi rice Temaki style.

Bought on Discount Premium Black Caviar, ($400) Two cans by 8.0oz, (500 grams) The caviar REALLY Salty ! (thats why on sale LOL). I contact then and they told me that is Okey, its under regulations 3% of salt for Red Caviar and 4% for black, . I know how caviar should be, so there not even close 4% of salt, maybe 15% . and they not even trying to resolve it, . You Get What you Paid . all on discounts is trash .

We ordered from Awers Premium Quality Sturgeon Caviar - Ossetra250 g (8.8 oz.) tin and 100 g (3.5 oz.) tin and Traditional Style Salmon (Red) Caviar 200 g (7 oz.).100g Ossetra Black caviar was of an exceptional quality, but was enough for 10 sandwiches only. Still, we enjoyed every bit of it! 250g Ossetra had a bit different taste, but was also very good and lasted for many more sandwiches!250g Red caviar was a very reasonable quality, especially for its price - better than we can buy locally for 45% more.Also, I definitely appreciated Awers customer service when there was an issue with the delivery on one of the orders. Care for customers is a sign of great business. Please keep in mind that Black Caviar ships overnight, but Red one has a 3-day delivery window.

Extremely unhappy with the product and especially customer service! Buyers - be very very careful with this place. They claim that they have been selling caviar for 7 years but I have no idea how they survived for such a long time with the absolutely nightmarish attitude towards their customers. Do not count on them if you are unhappy with the product! IT MUST BE OPENED WITHIN THE 3 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING AND THEY NEED TO BE CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY. So I opened the so called OSSETRA BLACK CAVIAR - $200 within a week of delivery to discover that it tastes bitter and absolutely green in color (not black with subtle green how it is supposed to look but yellow/green), which (as I was told by the manager) is completely normal. I grew on the Caspian Sea shore and know exactly how black caviar looks and what it tastes like. Let me tell you - what I have received has nothing to do with the actual thing. The customer service and the manager refused to even offer an exchange let alone the refund. Claiming that the product is perfect and I should have contacted them within 3 days as per policy. Needless to say I will never return to this awful place again.--- EDIT after the owners response. The post was not about just the color variation. I did order before and the order had no quality problems so I never had to deal with your customer service... As soon as I received the unexpected surprise this time, I complained and was referred to the fine print about refunds and exchanges, which clearly states: If you are not satisfied with the products you purchase from Awers Inc. in any way, please contact our customer service within 3 days after receiving the product and we will correct the problem or refund you in full (less shipping charges). That is what my post is about - not about my subjective taste. I would have thought that a reputable company could address such a minor complain in a better fashion rather than losing a repeat customer forever.

I buy from this store for several years. Excellent high quality products. I normally go for small size caviar for it’s the best for my taste buds. Shipping is a tad expensive but considering that it’s perishable goods, it’s acceptable. In fact, the quality of the shipping container and packing is excellent. Sign up for updates with your email to get occasional promos. Like I got upgraded shipping for my last order. So I highly recommend.

I dont know how many years we have been getting our caviar from these folks but it has been quite a few. Its been a pleasure doing business with them. One time we had an issue with taste and they were happy to quickly resolve the issue to our satisfaction! When we made our next order they even called to be sure we were happy. One issue in so many years and the customer service has been always been incredible. Even when UPS screws up they step in to be sure we are happy. I wish other companies would follow their example. The prices here are amazing. I don’t understand how other retailers charge at least double. The quality does not differ in my opinion or may be even better. Use this store for years and highly recommend to all.

I went to Awers for my first time and was very impressed with the variety of food and snacks they had. I ordered the pelmeni (which comes in a variety of meats,) sour cream, a few cheesecake bars and waffle cakes. The customer service was friendly and very helpful in answering my questions with the items I was unfamiliar with. Every item had great quality, was easy to prepare and delicious to eat. I look forward to making it a habit of shopping here regularly!

This was my second order of salmon caviar from Awers . This time and before I ordered different products. They are all excellent. The differences in between them are mainly in size off eggs, color and perhaps degree of saltiness but they all taste very good. I highly recommend ! I thought that Chum Salmon caviar was the best although it is somewhat more expensive than others.I placed this order a few days before Thanksgiving with standard shipping. The Company send me an email that because of the holiday UPS will not make the delivery before Thanksgiving and asked me if I want 2nd Day delivery at a small discounted extra cost. I said yes and the caviar arrived on time to enjoy. This effort by the Company to reach out to me to make sure that I am satisfied, indicates that they care for their customers. I consider that outstanding customer service.

I come here for caviar and get a lot of other Russian food as well. My favorite products are the frozen chum caviar without preservatives, Borodinskiy black rye bread, Plombir ice cream and several different Alexs Meat bolognas and kilbasas. The employees are very helpful and friendly. I recommend you try this gem of a European store for caviar and more.

If you are looking for top quality caviar for fair price, thats a place to visit.They sell caviar (both salmon and sturgeon) in industrially produced tint cans, though the pro tip... Look for plastic containers, thats the freshest with really great taste (you can ask to try).They produce it themselves, from locally grown fish. Pro - it it always very fresh and of great quality. Contra - they are closed on weekends and their shop does not look fancy (their primary business is to produce and to ship fish and caviar across USA and Canada)

Wow! I purchased the ossetra caviar and I was skeptical because of the low price. I just recieved it and tried it. Amazing! I literally spent 10x more for caviar from another large online seller and it was good but theirs is better. I literally cannot believe it. Order with confidence and you wont be dissatisfied. Best black caviar Ive had for a fraction of the usual price.I have some red caviar coming in a separate shipment. I should recieve it soon. I will update the review after I try it.

First time buyer from Awers. I tried their Ossetra black caviar. Overall it was a very good caviar, although just a tiny bit on a dry side. Not quite just like in my childhood but very close. The price seems to be fair but I have not tried other black caviars available in the US so cant compare price/quality. Will buy again from Awers though. The packaging and shipping was excellent. It is a very nice treat for the holiday season.

Unique bargain, not a pleasant service. Forget about service or appearances. Beyond that: plentiful choice of BARGAIN seafood. Examples: caviar (frozen and canned), frozen fish (halibut, keta(salmon), flounder, etc.), smoked fish, pickled fish, seaweed, and so on. You must know whats what: help is limited and unwilling (although not absent). However, with those prices (~$2/lb Keta salmon) you can afford to buy and try. There are no bad quality, you are safe there; but, say caviar ranges from OK to truly luxurious. Priced accordingly. Store positions itself as a grocery. Besides seafood its barely worth noticing... EXTREMELY small; unorganized. Yeah: I will be back, but you have to grow thick skin...

All red caviar has bad quality. it is over-salted and bitter at the end. All fish eggs are smashed and a lot of liquid is added to make it heavier. the price is cheaper than anywhere else on the net, but what you pay is what you get. not recommended.

The package was delivered as scheduled, but was very worm inside.Out of 10 different kinds only Podarochnaya had slightly caviar taste everything else was tasteless and all of them were very bitter. Im73 years old and ate a lot of red caviar, but never had such a terribly badcaviar, that I had to spit it out.Also there was no indication like from wild salmon. Its sooner that notmade from farm raised salmonI wouldnt recommend to buy from Awers.

Disgusting quality caviar. Out of 4 that we bought 3 went to garbage. Podarochnaya Salmon (Red) Caviar 500g was especially bad, it had taste of the machine oil in it and it was beyond bitter. Just horrible experience with Awers. We bought many brands of caviar in the USA but this is by far the worst there is. Stay away!

Husband arrived early today at 5:20 pm on the door note that the store will close at 5:30 pm today. Well, ok, it would have been possible to have time to make a purchase, but the doors were closed and no one was in the store. Sad sadness
