This is by far one of the best desserts I have ever had! I loved my cake and my passion fruit tea. My cake was light and had just the right amount of sweetness. The customer experience was well thought out. Everything was contactless. I could put my own order in via touchscreen . I highly recommend Blackbird Seattle for delicious tea and desserts !!!!

Wanted to try this place seen they offer boba milk tea. It’s located right besides sharerea and they only have takeout, you cannot enter the store as they have a walk up to order. The drink was cheap, 4:75 without boba for a tall drink, not sure if boba was an additional. The drink was good, good tea taste. Only complaint was the drink had too much boba and got tiring fast.

It was actually very good but the pricing was just way off. $9.00 for a slice of cake felt absurd. You can get a similar product all around Bellevue for $4-$6.

I ordered a Mille crepe today. It was really tiny and not even worth the price. You can definitely get much larger one from other places.

{Soft Opening this week -10% off drinks}Early note: this place is pricey, but I think theyre targeting the luxurious dessert niche. Now to the review: They are for sure in their soft opening phase, as in, they still are working towards bringing in tables and chairs. Dont fret, theres a good amount of space for people to chill at!I immediately went to their dessert case and found Mille Crepes and Iceboxes (Like a layered mousse and cake) {~$8.50}. Now. These Mille Crepe sizes are smaller than a Lady M cake, but the same price. So I personally decided to just try the icebox, since it sounded unique. I got the Black Sugar Chestnut Icebox and I liked it! It was a great balance between the cake and the filling and you can obviously taste the chestnut and not just pure sugar. As for drinks, I asked the cashier and he immediately said, try our fruit teas. So hey, since theyre next to sharetea, yes, ill try your fruit tea. He recommended the Berry tea and it was like a berry smoothie made a baby with jasmine tea haha. I thought the balance between the two was good and very refreshing. I probably shouldve reduced the sweetness though, since I dont like too sweet.Overall, great staff. They were kind, informative and asked for feedback. I wouldnt come here too often due to the $$ but id recommend people to get an ice box :)

Decent multilayered cakes. Matcha flavor is strong enough, but earl grey is lacking in depth. Teas are mediocre but the added creamas are alright.

I feel that this place does not even deserve for a star because the way the owner handles customer services and the quality of their whole cakes! I bought a few slices with different favor first time, thought the cakes were soft, fresh and delicious. So on my brothers birthday, we order a 6 earl grey favor crepe cake, it turned out that the cake was icy, hard, and tasteless. Everyone was disappointed for such a pricey ($70 for 6 inches) and tasteless crepe cake. WE tried to call the owner and provide our feedback, but all the owner did was AVOIDING us. SO, if you want to spend $70 for a tasteless cake, its in your own RISK!

Small and basic coffee/tea/cake shop. Limited coffee options and seems this place is really more about the cake and Asian teas. Cakes look nice but are pricey, coffee prices average. Just a few tables, ambiance is very quiet and just a modest couple decorations on the wall. Shop owner is friendly but this shop lacks a cozy feeling.

Tried twice at this place. The first time was great experience. My favorite flavor is durian and the earl grey is also great. The pork song one tastes a little weird. However, the second time Ive been there. I got couple cakes tasted sour. I am not sure if its what supposed to be. Tastes like not fresh to me.

TLDR: Lightly sweetened refreshments. Go early for desserts.Street parking only.Menu is posted on the wall to the left of the entrance. It only lists item names, you need to ask the cashier what each item contains if youre new to the place and not a seasoned customer.Service: order and pay at the counter, seat yourself and wait for your order to be called.I came here at 4pm on a Sunday for some cakes but unfortunately the pastry case was empty. So very sad. If you want desserts here I suggest you come earlier in the day.Berry Blast: blend of ice, blueberries and strawberries. Lightly sweetened and refreshing. Ice could have been blended more--there were some small chunks I crunched on.Paradise Sunrise: I didnt order this but inquired about the flavor--its grapefruit.Boba: nice soft texture and not too chewy. Lightly sweetened.Creama: Ill admit Im not a very experienced crema consumer so I dont know what really is good. Their crema is creamy and frothy but there isnt very much if it and it seems thicker than other cremas that Ive had. Ever so slightly sweetened and is salty.

Christ almighty the stuff here is gross and morbidly expensive. We got 2 “cheesecakes” that were as hard as a 8 day loaf of bread and 1 crepe cake that was edible at best. Yikes.

Fairly average bubble tea. Everything is pre-mixed or made from powders. No fresh teas, not even black tea or fresh milk either. The boba tasted fairly stale. Not sure what the hype is all about. Definitely will not return.

This is a nice little, bright tea shop/cafe. I liked their crema bubble tea, they served it with something sprinkled on top, which Ive not seen elsewhere before. The tea tasted genuine and I think you can adjust the sweetness and amount of ice too. I was keen to try their cakes and pastries but they seem overpriced for my tastes, closer to $10 per. It kinda sucks that theyre right next to Sharetea.

Taste really good, but do not have a lot of selection. overpriced, cost almost 10 dollar per piece. they have a really fancy box, i believe they want to build an image of high end bakery. I will sure go there more if the price is about 6 or 7 dollar. For current price, it is not a daily goto place for bakery.i didnt try the drink since share tea is next door.

Cool place not busy yet. Theres only two tables. They dont give out plates so I had to eat out of the box. The box is pretty fancy, it would make a good gift box for the crepe. The matcha crepe is very matcha-y. I wouldnt recommend it unless you have an acquired taste. Otherwise the other crepes look good!

The place is very small with only 2 tables and minimally decorated. I bought the Earl grey mille crepe to go because both tables are occupied. At $9 a piece, I think its overpriced: the crepe layers are hard and the cream is frozen, I could barely tasted the Earl Grey. I think I will come back to try the ice box, but the mille crepe didnt meet my expectations.

Wanted to try their millie cake long time ago. finally I could get two slice at UW Night Market on 5/11. As a Lady M millie cake lover, I will say their millie cake can battle Lady M.I always like the original millie cake from Lady M but not their matcha millie cake (not much matcha taste, not bitter, nth special as a matcha dessert).Personally I voted for Blackbird’s matcha millie cake (NOT Lady M matcha millie cake)!I also liked blackbird’s earl grey millie cake too.would like to try their chocolate millie cake in the future.

My friends and I stop by Share Tea for a drink. After we left my brother got curious whats next door. Which we found Blackbird. We saw that they sold drinks and desserts. Were interested in the mill crepe cakes. I got Earl Grey, my friend got Black sesame and my brother was curious about Durian. Werent sure if we wanted to try it since what we heard about the fruit and how overpriced the dessert was for a small portion. It was $9, which is the same price for getting a meal else where. We were very reserve. I dont see a sample sign in front of the glass display or above. We decided to give it a try. We didnt like Durian one bit, we were overwhelmed with the taste. But the Earl Grey and Black sesame were good. Tastes exactly a like french breakfast crepe that I make at home. The durian crepe was barely touch. My brother couldnt finish it at all. He decide to ask for exchange. He came back telling him no. I decided to go to them and bring the the Durian Crepe Cake to them. I explained what happened and ask for an exchange for an overpriced and small crepe cake. The lady ask the man behind her and made a unprofessional face and saying no. They didnt suggest any refunds or half off for an alternatives. I left the whole piece of durian cake at the pick up counter, very displease with how resistance to troublshoot together. Not coming here again, I can also make crepes at home with 3rd of the price. They even threw the whole small piece durian crepe away and still kept the money. Now you know they dont think about their costumers well being. There place is also too small to hangout. Three tables and barley enough chairs to sit. Either go there by yourself or just take your item to go. Which I still wont be back for.
