We took a black forest pie, Latte, Cappuchino, almond croissant and cheese Danish. The ambience was perfect for a cozy coffeehouse, neat and clean. Small but well organized space. I also liked the crowd at the place. Its located at a great spot right adjacent to crossroads market and Safeway. The coffee was great, cheese Danish was like little peace of heaven and the pastry was delicious too. I would visit again.

Good food, with seatings inside and outside. Were a bunch of people who love good pastries so we come here often as this place is convenient, close-by and bakes fresh bread everyday. Some customers here can be a bit of a nightmare, as I come across these people almost every time I visit. So sit down, enjoy a cup of London fog, and watch how ridiculous and pretentious some people are, for a little bit of real life comic in your life. If youre lucky, they might even come yell at you for not standing 10ft from them in the small store, or they might run you over in the parking lot while trying to hastily park so that they can beat the long line.

Not enough words to explain how amazing this place is with their pastries and coffee. My husband loved his sandwich and my panini was amazing. The lightest Black Forest cake I have ever had as that’s how I like my cake and their cinnamon pastry was out of the world. This place is a must if you visit Bellevue or just drive up there for a quick bite trust me, so worth it 🥰

They messed up our order. Completely forgot about our order of a birthday cake which was placed 7 days ago. They even had hard time to locate the recipt. Yes, they refunded and gave us a pretty small cake for free. But the damage was done and we need to frantically manage another cake. It was really a bad experience. Their cakes taste good but they are pretty incompetent in managing order.

This place has a decent selection of breads and cakes, and their coffee is pretty good. Unfortunately most of their good stuff (e.g., strawberry cake, mango cake) are not available until at least two hours after the opening. If you came in at 7-8am, you are most likely be rewarded with their half-empty shelves.

Curbside Delivery is recommended if its too busy inside. Staff is great, service is good and treats are always yummy. Its just too crowded and social distancing isnt super enforced. You end up standing waiting for coffee, next to customers sitting and eating inside (without masks). There are very few marks on the floor for social distancing.

Good coffee, croissants and baguettes. However I would not recommend ordering cakes. Very disappointed. I came there because of the beautiful pictures they posted. In fact I got very not good looking Banana crepe which does not taste good, small bad tasting hot chocolate (which is teeny-tiny size) and cheap plastic utensils ( I could not even cut my crepe because plastic knife was so soft and bending every time I was trying to cut). Never coming back.

Orders, if theres any changes (even a slight change like no mushrooms), are very nearly always wrong. So often I dont even shop here if I have a non-special order. yeah, that salty. Literally drive to seattle now to get a crepe. Theres plenty of bakeries and espresso all over, I wont spend my $$ there. You only see me there if someone really special asks me to go. btw someone really special said her no mushroom crepe had an army of mushrooms in it. honestly, it was an easy request I said three times AND your staff repeated it back to me. Im beginning to think you do this on purpose.

Great food. I ordered the Paul, a savory crepe, and it was delicious. The people there are quite friendly, and it seems like the manager wants to Foster that sort of atmosphere. When I ate there, I happened to sit next to a job interview for a potential new member of the family there and couldnt help but overhear a bit.The hiring manager heavily emphasized their desire to maintain a friendly culture and a positive impact on the community, with all their foods made direct from the ingredients every day.

I love this location of French Bakery over the downtown Bellevue one. It is a perfect place for families and couples with the smell of warm croissants and cheer all around. You can request them to warm up the croissants. The latte is excellent and complements their savory croissants and crepes really well. Again, you ask the coffee to be made really hot (the technical term they use is, less foam)Call me old fashioned, but I love the fact that they have proper cutlery despite having a distinct cafe look and feel.Food recommendation: pesto tomato croissant, butter croissant, Jacques crepe.Drinks: the LATTE!

Their pastries and coffee are the absolute best. Traveled all over the world and no one has beaten this shop. And if you prefer them hot, just ask whats fresh or for them to warm it up, everything is delicious. For those leaving bad reviews because the bakery didnt have the particular pastry they were looking for, grow up. Theyre a small shop and still bake 50+ different ones every single morning and the staff goes out of their way to help customers.

I ordered the salad with warm goat cheese. They gave me a salad with COLD goat cheese. When I told them about their error they said it was supposed to be like that... so why the heck they advertise it as warm? It finally happened. Ive been dreading it. I went in here and asked for a Chausson aux Pommes and the dude had no idea what I asked for and didnt care.Apple TurnoverAnd then they didnt know which of their apple pastries I meant.Keeping the original names of the pastries isnt snobby...it actually helps distinguish one item from another. If you arent going to acknowledge the origin of these special pastries, why bother keeping the traditional shapes? Better yet, why dont you just make something different altogether? The quality is rapidly going downhill as well. I notice the bear claws and other things creeping in. I love bear claws but...theyre not French. Stop calling yourself The French Bakery if youre not going to be one.Disappointed beyond. I used to love it here.
