Nice little bakery on the first floor inside the building . We visited for breakfast and was we came out happy and satisfied. We opted for hot croissants sandwich and hot panini grill roasted turkey and havarti. Both tasted good. We also got an pineapple turnover and cappuccino and cappuccino Viennese and both were nice . Our service was nice and polite. The person ( boy) on the counter was sooo nice and polite and smiling and helpful. There are few sports inside the cafe to sit and eat and also outside the cafe .

One of my favorite bakeries here in Bellevue. Im in love with their mango cake. Ive also tried their white chocolate mocha and salads a couple times and I really liked them. Little bit on the expensive side but totally worth it. Definitely try their mango cake! I would request them to change their hours and keep the bakery open until late evenings especially as we see the fall/winter coming.

Poor customer service. This review used to be a positive one, since I was this place’s regular, but today was extremely disappointing. My latte was the most bitter latte ever, and I simply asked them to add more milk. They said they can pour me cold milk, but I have to pay for the hot one. What?! The dumbest thing ever. I ended up paying for a little milk almost the same price as for my coffee. I think that just really shows how much they care or rather not care about their customers.

Good baked goods and Attibassi Italian coffee makes this a great place for a break. Tbey also have a lunch menu of sandwiches, crepes and paninis. Coffee service is slower than the much busier French Bakery at Crossroads Shopping Mall, which explains the missing star. (PS - The French Bakery in Redmond is similar to this location).

I just read a review mocking the hand sanitizer here, what a joke. If Im in the area, and now I live here, I have to stop by for a snack or quick bite.I typically get their Vietnamese iced coffee which requires real strength of will to resist buying every day. I usually get some sort of pastry as well, which is pretty hit or hit, perhaps its missed once.On the savory side Ive tried their Croque Madame which isnt a true madame but its still a good sandwich, and their croissant sandwich is also good.

It is located inside a large glass building, bright with loads of natural light. The bakery was on the first floor, easy to find with tables right by the escalator. They did have some real outdoor seating also.We got Café Au Lait, Slice of Coffee Swiss, and Twice Baked Chocolate Almond Croissant. They were both nice little dessert, not the best Ive had, but it was a good way to start the morning. We also had one real dish, savory “Paul” crepe. The filling was almost like chicken salad or tuna salad, only with salmon. This version was interesting, and quite tasty! We enjoyed the breakfast here, so we decided to go back again for another breakfast. This time, we got Marionberry Cream Cheese Croissant, and Slice of Blueberry Cream Cake. The croissant was just a-ok, but the cake was much better than I thought it would be. The crepe of choice for this day was Pierre. It was more simple, but comforting, tasty, and filling. The staffs were not overly friendly, but polite. The coffee was good and the food was tasty. The portion of savory crepe was pretty big, enough to share. Affordable and relaxing atmosphere.

Sep 1:2020While I was waiting in the line, I had to experience how the French Bakery treats their customers. A lady found hair in the cake she was eating. She ate more than half of the cake. she was humiliated when she went and told about the hair she found to the barista. The barista claims that the hair could’ve fallen while she was eating. Posting this to let the viewers decide on how the customer should have been treated. My view was that the lady should’ve gotten a new cake. I was standing there in the line and could feel that the lady was not wrong. And she was getting mean responses. I took a video of it and unfortunately I was not able to post the video.

I went to The French Bakery expecting to be disappointed. After all, this is Bellevue, not France. When I walked in, I was greeted with an array of baked goods, multiple vegetarian options on the menu, and cheery staff members. I ordered the Roasted Veggie & Havarti sandwich, and it arrived pretty quickly.I thought the food was pretty tasty. The salad was a little overdressed, although I could have just asked for dressing on the side.Overall, I enjoyed my visit to The French Bakery and would go again. It didnt seem particularly French or personal (it had more of a chain feel), it was good for what it was.

Nice French Bakery with good selection of croissants, both sweet and savory. They also serve crepes, sweet & savory. The coffee is excellent, one of the best. It’s a place to go for ’general’ French style bakery but the top tier like Besalu is in Ballard. Breads are so-so. We had breakfast on our anniversary and they were out of Bananas for the crepe and the counter lady was in foul mood, could be just one-off.

Terrible Chinese Service! I went there to buy 2 coffee eclairs. I’ve paid for them and I was waiting to get my order.. while a Chinese lady came after me and placed her order.. as I was waiting for my order I’ve notice one of the cashiers is boxing all the eclairs and the one who got my order informs me that there are no more coffee eclairs. Looks like the Chinese lady who came and ordered after me got them all.. I tell them that I’ve placed my order before her, but the manager probably, (Chinese too) just decides to ignore me and gives the other Chinese lady all the eclairs.. including the 2 ones I got! This is my 3 time bad experience with them. I will never buy from this location again!! The Crossroads one is the best!! Nicest people, always smiling and being kind!! These Chinese lady should learned something from them!!

The coffee, imported from Italy, was smooth and tasty. The croissants were excellent, especially the strawberry cream cheese variety. The cookies we tried, however, were disappointing. The soft-based chocolate chip cookie was dry, and although it had nice chocolate chunks on top, there were none inside the cookie, and it was too thick/dense. The Nutella shortbread was bland. I still highly recommend the bakery, but suggest focusing on the pastries rather than the cookies.

I love The French bakery and pay visits here since they opened at Elements. We were also buying their tasty bread and croissants in my daughters French school. However, today when I ate in, I was given completely dirty and sticky cutlery. There were remnants of food stuck on my fork and, obviously, it was not properly washed. When I brought up this issue at the cash register, they were very apologetic and replaced my fork and knife with different set which was also sticky, but at least looked clean. It took a while to get me a new set, so I suspect they were manually cleaning them. I find It is very low standards and health hazard due to a risk of passing communicable diseases.I was sure that in a public place everything should be thoroughly cleaned with high temperature water and proper cleaning solutionNever had such an experience in a place like that. Will not go back till they raise their cleaning standards and teach the personnel that dirty stuff should not be served.Coffee viennese tasted really good but was warm rather than hot. Alice crepe was disappointing as the dough was thick and tasteless, like made from the box. Variety of offered products was awesome as usual, and hopefully, tasty. Added one star for that.

Im really unsure how this place has such great reviews. Ive been a few times and was completely underwhelmed. As far as french patisseries go, its not very authentic (I travel to France regularly to visit family - I have a good basis for comparison!). The pastries themselves have not been super fresh each time Ive visited. Not stale mind you... but more like they were made a day or two in advance before being sold. The Savory Crepe that I tried was really not great. I think they slightly sweeten their crepe batter so if youre combining it with some savory flavors things can taste really off. Maybe its fine for the sweet crepes? but for the savory options it was really, really off-putting. The coffee was very good. Ill give them that. I really gave this place a shot since i figured the reviews meant there must have been some secret awesome item i was missing, but I give up searching for it. Not going back.

Reading all the great reviews, I wanted to check out this bakery. I shared a twice baked almond chocolate croissant and a cheese danish. I was expecting a slightly sweet, flaky pastry with nice filling. The dough for both pastries had a bread like texture instead of being buttery and flaky, very disappointed and nothing like true croissants or french pastries. They were also overly sweet, especially the cheese danish filling. The latte I had was good, but the regular coffee and pastries were disappointing. Im not sure where this bakery gets all these great reviews from because I wont be wasting my money here again.

This is unfortunately one of the worse coffee I have in Seattle. Both service and taste are below expectation. Since I come from Arizona the expectation is not high, but how hard is it to remember customers order? Ive almost finished the pastry and the mocha is not yet ready. When I turned around to the counter, I saw a mocha, of course Ill think its my long waiting mocha! (Especially Im ahead of the other customer who made the order.) anyway, the staff said it is not my order (which is okay, because they completely forgot at this point), but how hard is it to make a fresh cup of coffee? The coffee they later made taste like water with sugar and a little bit of coffee flavor. If Im not in this part of town, Ill definitely go back Zoka or other coffee shops.

This place is vexing; one the one hand, their sweet breads (like chocolate marble and lemon poppy) are tasty, moist and really affordable. Their crepes look great. On the con sice, their loafs of savory bread are too fluffly... they are not crispy, and they sweat the butter they contain shortly after purchased. They don’t have a great variety of savory bread and the ones they have are not great. So come here if you want to have a nice crepe or something on the sweet side. But if you are looking for the best baked bread, keep on looking in my opinion.

Their coffee is tasty and consistent, and their pastries varied and delicious (not tried a bad one yet).Their bread reminds me of baguettes Id tried in Paris when I was younger. Its always nice to grab their freshly baked bread early in the morning, while its still hot. Also, if you go by their store around 4-5ish (at least at the Crossroads location), if they have not sold their bread baked that day, they will start to give them out to people, which is nice. The fact that this place hasnt had a 1 or 2 star review, says a lot about consistency of quality, too.
