I was out exploring downtown Boise for the first time on a beautiful autumn day. The kind of day that makes you want to sit outside and enjoy a nice hot coffee. So you know what? That’s exactly what I did. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and my americano was great. They have a nice sitting area outside where you can just relax and enjoy the sights. When I visit new cities I always try to support local coffee shops if I can, so I was happy to give Dawson Taylor my business. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for good coffee in the area.

I visited this place twice ... chic decor... nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Quick service . I had once an espresso and now I am having an affogato double espresso with espresso ice-cream scoop . Both are tasty ...I bought their French roast brewed coffee and it is so tasty ! it is highly recommended!!!

Very cute place, great selection and service. Do not get a straw. It will disintegrate before you finish. We ordered smoothies and a biscotti. I would definitely visit again next time were in Boise!

What does it take to get your drink made right? I am a polite, friendly person. I tip every single time. Yet they still screw up about one out of every three Mochas.Again today it didnt taste right, and when I got home I just decided to dump it. Thats when I saw most of the chocolate was down at the bottom of the cup. What the hell? It only takes a few seconds to mix the drink properly! For five dollars I would think they would take time to get it right.

Awesome people seem to be working here! Polite, friendly but not the usual superficial customer service, felt like a relal person with actual personality is talking to me. Also was interesting to watch coworkers interact, felt like people are in a good mood and enjoying themselves not just standing behind the counter whispering to each other quietly judging customers like other places haha weird review? Maybe.

Had 2 shots americano in 8 oz cup which was tasteless. They either use not freshly grinned coffee or really old beans. This place is really popular with a lot of people sitting and taking out. This made me think if people really come for coffee here or just coffee flavor. Ive seeing how caramel iced americano was made and I couldnt believe my eyes. How someone can like it. Here are the details. Full cup of ice, in the separate cup a squirt of caramel and a turn of pick salt and a shot of expresso mixed then added to cup with ice and topped with tape water. I really loved the art on the walls though. There was a very pleasant scent of freshly grind coffee when I came in, but I was not lucky to experience it in my cup.
