This place is nice! The food was pretty decent.. the Hong Kong breakfast sandwich was tasty. Husband loved the topping and the spam too. The bbq pork bun and piggy bun was awesome! We had the taro one and the filling was very flavorful! The egg custard was good! Skip the onion bun, it is beautifully made with a lot of flaky layers but really needs more onion flavor! No drinks this time… as others have said definitely come early and be prepared to wait.. will try again!
Cute cafe with limited but delicious menu. Theyre a well-known spot so get there early if visiting on a weekend for breakfast. Sandwiches are tasty, and pastries are delectable but small -- make sure to order more than you think you should. I dont really drink coffee but I drank more of my partners Mint Mojito coffee than she did. Well definitely be back for more. If you already have a favourite breakfast spot, watch out -- this place is going to replace it.Weve dined-in and gotten takeout from here on two separate occasions, once during the week and the second time on a Saturday. Staff were great, service was quick, and food was tasty both times.
I really can’t believe that I’ve lived nearby for 5 years but never came to this place before. The major reason is that the 110th Ave is continuously under construction so I never got a chance to notice it. This restaurant is most like those family owned place and mainly serving neighborhood nearby. Highly recommend to have breakfast or brunch here, the pineapple buns are super good.
This place is awesome! Coffee was great, the staff was supper friendly! Thank you for great service. Will come here again! This coffee shop is beautiful.
Very cute bakery. The food comes quickly, its clean and tidy. The buns and the sandwiches were great as was the egg tart. The molten custard bun was the best item we ordered. Id steer clear of the dumplings though. The vietnamese iced coffee was super.
Great cafe to satisfy the cravings for authentic Hong Kong milk tea!
Theres an interesting combination of things on the menu, and I usually have the Hong Kong sandwich and the egg custard. Theyre good, but perhaps over priced for what they are.
We were the first one to order then 4 other groups came in. But it took them 25 minutes to prepare our orders. The piggy buns with custard/yams were tasteless and dry. The sausage bun wasnt a bun but a crescent hotdog (see picture). Somebody ordered a Viet coffee and we saw that the lady pulled an open can of condensed milk out of the fridge. They should have at least transferred it to a sealed container for proper food safety protocol. And their drinks were lukewarm! They have nice interiors though and I like the crispy pork bun.
Its good every time we go but somehow not particularly memorable. The atmosphere is simple and modern. The food is consistently good and so are the drinks. Wish they would add a little more of their personality into the decor. Feels industrial.
Cute shop - pastries were good too! The little piggy buns were a favorite of my daughter and the pork bun was amazingly delicious, a soft crusty bun with sweet pork inside. I really love the breakfast sandwich, never had anything like it - flavors worked beautifully together and textures was like eating a dense cloud.i will say the turn around is a bit long as they make everything to order so come prepared to wait a bit - but food was good enough to say it was worth the wait!
The green onion bun was SOOO good. Hot, salty, and sweet mmmm 🤤The sparkling raspberry drink is good but overpriced at 5$. Needs some vodka or something. The decorations are really cute!
The dim sum we ordered was tasty. The problem I have is that its too expensive. From where I come from (Los Angeles), we have a great Chinatown and numerous places where we can purchase cheap, but delicious dim sum that do not cost an arm and a leg. The crispy BBQ pork buns ($3.50 ea) are really good, but it was a bit tiny and a little expensive. I wanted more, but opted not to because of the price. The buns here in LA are not crispy, but I can get one for a little over a dollar or sometimes less.
Amazing coffee. Iced coconut Vietnamese coffee here is a must try!
Lovely little Cafe. Just opened a year ago. A bit hard to get to due to construction but the buns are adorable.*update after eating the buns*The buns are ****ing good. They look cute and my son didnt want to eat them, but I devoured 5 of them in a single sitting. I couldnt stop eating. The Pineapple Bun Crust is amazingly crispy and the bread consistency is the best Ive ever had (and I get buns from 85c regularly). The BBQ pork fillings are super tasty! I dont know how other things taste, but when I ate the buns, I felt like the clown character in Yakitate Japan with tears in my eyes.We came to Cafe Aloe because of their cute Christmas Box, but were gonna detour to get these buns from now on.
Their tarts are really good, not too heavy. I highly recommend their Crispy Hong Kong Sandwich with Sausage. Melts in your mouth. Not a lot of seating but spacious and simple.
This is a cute, “quiet” place, with a small selection of bites and liquids. But the available offerings are good! The molten custard dumplings are very yummy and cute to boot! The Hong Kong Egg sandwiches (spam and sausage) are very tasty, savory fare. Don’t try the Vietnamese coffee though. Go for the Hong Kong Ice tea, which reminded you of Thai Ice tea, somehow.
One of very few places that you can get mint coffee! When I visit Bellevue to run errands, this is my go to place to work remotely as well. They have a cute indoor deco; good coffee and snacks and pretty stable Wifi to enjoy!
I love the Hong Kong sandwich with spam ($10.50), something about it is so nostalgic.. if only it wasnt so pricey. I also got the crispy bbq pork bun ($3.50), I would say to skip this one because it was just alright to me, its not as crispy as their pineapple buns. Vietnamese iced coffee was not too sweet, just the way I like it 👍🏼
Nice local spot if you need to get away and get some work done.
Went there for an americano. When I asked for creme all they had were nasty Coffee mate creme packets. Very disappointing.
Why is this top rated? This place has so much potential. The coffee was ok. The milk tea was ok. The dumplings? Holy cow you have to wait 20+ minutes for subpar dumplings? No thank you.The service? The person at the counter obviously doesn’t want to be there. I was as polite as can be but she was so…. Blasé.The whole experience was bad and I won’t come back.Too bad because the location is amazing.
Its just tasteless almost everything we ordered 😔
The cafe is super cute.I got this cute piggy custard bun. Was super fluffy and and not too sweet. Delicious. They also sell cute coffee/sushi enamel pins lol. I got a Nigiri pin. They also have like a neon sign, plant/green backdrop, picturesque wall that works well for Instagram-y photos. The interior design is very Instagram worthy. And their baked goods. The coffee and teas are good here as well. I dont drink coffee, but the people I was with couldnt stop raving how good it was.
I found the menu repetitive and the flavoured coffees have artificial taste. Suggest choosing traditional options (like macchiato).
5 stars for the egg tarts and service, minus 1 star for the small size of the egg tarts.I’ve had egg tarts in HK and Macau, and HK Milk Tea in both places, too. The egg tarts here are excellent but about 25% smaller than the ones you’d get in most of Asia. At the same time, you can get a Matcha Egg Tart here, and I’ve never seen that variation outside Singapore and Japan. (The Matcha Egg Tart here was better than the ones I’ve had in SG and equal to the ones in Japan.)As for the HK Milk Tea, it wasn’t bad, just not as good as the ones you’d get in HK.I’ll end on a positive note: the couches here are comfortable and electrical outlets plentiful. SO GOOD. What a little gem!! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Super aesthetic place with wonderful food and drink options. Wonderful. Will definitely be back!
Excellent customer service! Always prompt when ordering pick up online. Friendly staff and reasonable prices, and tasty caffeinated drinks, what more can you ask for? Thank you for being in business!
Delicious. Absolutely slaps.
Dont do well with rude ppl at all!!
This place is awesome! Great service with unique and tasty food options. The coffee was amazing and it was all adorable 10/10
I really love Cafe Aloe, I’m surprised it is not busier. Coffee is way better than some hyped up coffee shops in the area, I love the taro latte and the Vietnamese iced coffee. The crispy bbq pork bun is my go-to but I also am a fan of the custard bun and the egg tart, but truth be told you can’t go wrong with anything! It is always super clean in here and the white minimalist aesthetic works well for the space. Parking is street parking for the most part but I have been here 5+ times and never struggled to find a spot. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful, and I can see them making the food fresh in the back upon ordering so it is always warm and juicy! I really hope that more people can discover this awesome spot for studying or chatting.
Egg tarts are really good.. espresso drinks are good too. Will come back
Great-tasting coffee! I had double-shot macchiato, it was very good. Service is fast and friendly.
Delicious pastries, especially the original and match egg tarts. The Vietnamese iced coffee was a great mix of strong coffee and sweet condensed milk. The service was also fast and the servers knowledgeable and very helpful when I didnt know what half the things on the menu meant. Plus, the view from the place is spectacular. Great for a morning pick me up - its hard to leave not smiling.
The egg tarts and green onion buns are delicious and addictive. The mint cold brew drink is also really good.
So friendly and the Vietnamese coconut iced coffee is to die for!!
The coconut latte and taro latte is something else!!! The Vietnamese coffee is also delicious, always extremely nice and polite.
Best pork bun Ive ever had! Great coffee, plenty of seating and electric plugs. Beautiful bright and open space. This is my new favorite cafe in downtown Bellevue.
For their cappuccino!
Nice little cafe to spend sometime reading a book or doing some work. Tried the egg tart and a Hong Kong style milk tea and both were decent.
Service sucked.
I like the food and the customer service.
The drinks and snacks are good but the music is too loud for me to concentrate on anything.
Good snacks
Excellent Iced Coffee and a great place
Its so cute and so good!!!!! Its so undiscovered
The egg tarts are perfect!
Friendly service!
Great coffee, atmosphere and employees
