The employee here today is very slow and must be new (I hope). He couldnt figure out how to process my return and had to get help. Then he rang up my purchase wrong when I came back up from shopping. Both of those situations also fall on management for failure to train properly and efficiently. If the employee can run a register smoothly and quickly then have them walk the floor and have management ring people up.Seems to be ample enough parking here and you dont have to pay for it. This store is a very large one. Also dont forget to check out the Last Chance section for discounted items.

Located right in downtown Bellevue, this Barnes and Nobles location is nice, sizeable and spacious. A separate section for media (movies and music) is located in the back, which harkens back to the formula of the older B&Ns of days gone by.This most recent time I was visiting, the adjacent Cafe was closed - not just for covid restrictions, but closed completely, signage removed and area used for storage. Sad to see this.But otherwise, this is a big store with lots of room for shopping and reading.

Ive been coming here since I was a little kid. Its a peaceful and relaxing store, lots of fun gift items, and amazing books. You can easily spend hours browsing through all the different genres. They also have great deals on books, and also offer a membership system (cost $25 a year) but if you are an avid reader,it will definitely save you in the long run! I hope more people will continue to shop at and support this staple in downtown.

A nice large book store with good selection and seating options. Parking available outside and Starbucks inside. There is even a bit of an old dusty book store smell to it! ;) Glad it is still there!

Love this place. Location is not the greatest with construction and Downtown Bellevue but once you are inside, it is a great bookstore. The cashiers are super helpful and always friendly, highly suggest this location.

Well not one but 0 stars. I bought a book which I eventually found is priced double compared to your neighborhood online retailer. Also the book didn’t turn out to be what I thought. When we bought the book the staff didn’t offer a receipt. I went back to return the back and asked them to look the book up by the bar code which is 100% possible without giving the looks to your customers. The whole process of returning was filled with stares and weird faces. Well I’m glad I am taking my business off the dying brick and mortar store. If you don’t offer good service you really can’t compete anymore

The guy who helped us was kind of rude when helping us look for a book today. He felt rhe need to go out of his way and rudely correct my boyfriend on the author when my boyfriend very clearly pointed to a book by the author we were looking for. They also put price stickers on their books which were not made to go on book covers, left a sticky residue when trying to take it off. Found the book I wanted but left a bad taste in my mouth. Will probably just stick to the B&N closer to where I live next time.

I love this Barnes and Nobles. All staff members genuinely love their work and the books. Even if they are not as knowledgeable about certain subjects each individual is friendly and welcoming. Please continue to support businesses like this! We dont want to lose them like Blockbuster :c.

This is a nice store with huge collection of books and toys. The store is maintained as in the aisles were perfectly setup. My only concern is I did not see any price tags and that I believe is very important factor when you are buying something.

Great book store with a large selection of all kinds of books of all kinds they have something for everyone. One of the last great book store companies that havent closed down due to the internet making their sales dry up. When I visited on November 11th 2020 they were closed although it was only 9a.m. They also had signs stating that masks are required and their is also a limit on the number of customers that can be in the store at one time. They are also doing pick up in store for online orders and encourage that type of transaction.

Thank God Barnes & Noble hasnt closed down all their stores because its nice to still be able to go into a bookstore, walk the aisles and look all the books and magazines.

By far, my favorite Barnes and Noble. I like that they take the time to write which books are popular. However, parking is pain on the weekday.

Great selection of books and gifts. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location hasnt been renovated and is showing age.Note they the parking lot requires a ticket to enter, and Barnes and Nobles will validate the parking for you during checkout so you dont have to pay a parking fee.

My favorite place for brunch over weekend or dinner at night. Yummy food in a great location close to lots of wineries around. Very crowded and popular in weekend for brunch make sure to get early. Wait can be around an hour if you closer to noon. But the wait worth every second of it. Very yummy foods 😋

The charm and functionality of physical books would never go away. Despite so many online apps for reading books we still love to have a shelf full of books that we proudly display. Barnes and noble has been my favorite store, where I can spend hours and lose track of time. Over the years I could see the pressure on brick and mortar stores from online retailers and that makes me very sad. Please dont close the stores we need them.

Found ourselves in the area and wandered upon this Barnes and Noble off the beaten track. Very nice store inside but dark from the outside. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Plan on coming back here to do Christmas shopping! Great selection of gifts.... more than just books!

Its a bookstore. They have books about things that may or may not interest you. Actually Im gonna bet that theres more books in this store that you have no desire to read, than books that interest you. Not just books you eat to read but books that interest you. So i guess thats a good thing for a book store though right?

The service was Outstanding had a clerk assist me not once yet twice and was able to locate hard to find copies!This store is Beautiful inside;Hard to imagine it used to be a Bowling alley in the 50s...Youve got to see this one and experience a great Gem!

Amazing collection

Golly, I might only buy books, in physical form, once every five years or so. When I do, I choose Barnes & Noble. Not because I want to, mind you, but because I have to.Years ago, you see, there used to be a wife selection of small, independent bookstores. Not anymore. B&N and Borders did their magic, and made them go away. Hail capitalism.But alas, it seems Amazon has managed to exact a small amount of justice. No longer is B&N a bookstore, but more of a toy store, coffee shop, free wifi hot spot, and quasi-public library.I digress.Buy your books here, or elsewhere. I could care less.

Greeted quickly, bathrooms clean, funky little building its in. I wonder what it was previously. No cafe but large music section. Near a business complex that has local music during lunch on Tuesday-Thursday.

Classic bookshop feels

The only thing I can think of that would have made the visit more enjoyable, would be a face lift to the front of the building, it has a somewhat going out of business vibe on the outside...A new paint job and better parking lot lighting could go a long way to make it match how nice it is inside.That being said, it is still really nice to hold a real book which they have plentifully. There is also a great toy and game section, including collectable toys and Lego.There is a DVD, Blue Ray, and CD section for all your movie, TV and music needs.I highly recommend the Barnes and Noble member ship if you buy any of these frequently. I spent a couple of hours looking at different books before making my selection.Just a nice Saturday afternoon at a bookstore with good pricings.For me I love holding and reading a real book verus an electronic book. Theres texture to the pages, and the smell of a real book cant be duplicated.I know the future lies with the electronics, but give a real book anytime.

Giant corporate bookstore. You know the drill. Great selection, cookie cutter stores and underpaid staff. I give them 3 stars because the selection is usually good, due to the sheer size of their stores. But if you can shop local, Ill always suggest you do that first.

Two vehicles in the parking lot and as many customers. In/out, done. Too bad we cannot support brick and mortar establishments as we once used to.

Love that there is still a good bookstore in town. Ive found that the pricing is very competitive. Nice to browse through the store and actually flip through a book before you buy it.

I was a little disappointed with this specific location in Bellevue. I expected an environment that would promote spending time reading books and magazine — and environment created for just that. But they didn’t have anything in the way of sitting down and enjoying a cup of tea or coffee, and reading something good.

They have lack of good customer service.

We just left the store, we took my 8 yr old son for the polar express book night and he loved it. All of the staff was helpful and their plan was fantastic. We were able to shop while he had a great experience. The store is very welcoming.

One of the few remaining b&n in this area. Hopefully it will still be there for a long time. But who knows! So give them some love and support.

Great place to find just the right book. Initial wait for check-out was 5 minutes, however, when I needed to come right back in to adjust my bill because I forgot to use my coupon, there was no wait and the adjustment was done quickly and with a smile.

Love this store. Feels like its the only B&N left in the area so I really hope they stay in business! Still the best chain for getting any book you need ASAP and in great condition.

The store is ok, its their online store. Some of there products are so cheaply made, printed on the cheapest quality papers, so very disappointed. I wont ever buy online from them. I recommend any purchases to go in to the store. I tried to write reviews of the products I purchases on their site,, but it doesnt seem to work. I thought I would take this opportunity to mention the online experience.

Books! Lots & lots of books! Sad the cafe is no longer there but their selection of sci-fi/fantasy is always really good!

Friendly staff, ample parking (get a ticket when you enter, validate at Barnes and Noble). Only downside is that there is no coffee shop at this one.

A chain bookstore, its actually not that bad. They have a huge range of EVERYTHING. Really, the stores huge, but most Barnes and Noble stores are. Luckily that means I can grab whatever digital marketing or photography book Im after, instead of ordering it in, like I need to in my favorite independent stores.The Starbucks attached is a great place to catch up without battling the mall. as others said, parking is a tad pricey, so dont forget to get it validated.Convenient, mass bookstore.

A great place to find variety of books, music, games for all ages

Delightful book store (layout, cleanliness, and ambiance) with very friendly staff.

I stopped by early in the morning and it was so nice and quiet that I was able to browse plenty of genres. I especially liked that everyone working there was so nice when I needed to run back and grab something else!

As always Barnes and Noble staff were helpful and great book selections.

Very nice young lady helped me find my Lee Child books, bought 3, and suggested their membership and saved me 10% BEFORE I bought the books! Very nice experience, quick and painless.
