Very nice, beautiful store. It smelled really good and was very well organized. The staff was nice and didn’t stalk all the time. We found some nice objects for decorating. The price is medium to high. I hope the quality is the same.The parking is a little difficult on the street almost always full.

I bought Andes bed from west elm in Bellevue location and was delivered mid October as scheduled at the time. Bed looks beautiful and I can’t be happier with my purchase. The delivery was seamless as well. FG

Stay away, the looks of the store does not match the service. Our couch arrived very late, this was somewhat expected as shipping across the board is delayed. BUT, no screws came with the couch and the delivery guys (3rd party) couldnt do anything. Spent over an hour and a half on the phone to get simple cheap screws ordered (other companies can do this in a couple minutes or online). The first person said it would take 3-4 MONTHS just to get the screws. Got through to the supervisor who couldnt guarantee an arrival time on the screws and that she would call me today, well I havent received a phone call. Was told to try a hardware store, these arent ordinary screws that you can just pick up at Home Depot or Lowes. Worst shopping experience ever.

One star for the delivery experience. They do have decent furniture, but their delivery system is miserable. The estimate delivery time kept changing and I still havent received my table legs after 2+ months of wait (yes, only had table top and waited for the legs for 1+ month). Be prepared to wait for 3+ month if you plan to buy furniture on their website. Also, their shipping fee is insane. Find another furniture brand thats really prepared for the e-commerce world.

West Elm, a very popular national furniture and decoration store, has locations all over and a very active online presence. They have many different styles, with mostly modern as their current trend. This location is on the smaller side and the staff tends to keep to themselves instead of asking if you need help. Theres also usually debris or small wrappers around the store. Id recommend trying out the many other furniture stores in Bellevue before this one.

I wanted to have a real shopping experience and see the product I wanted to buy after browsing on their website. So I went to the store. First time shopping after 10 months of pandemic. I circled the store numerous times trying to find some info, but the staff seemed too busy with what was going on at their computer screens to be bothered. I got the, what do you want look when I approached a counter where someone was working. My questions were answered with a dismissive finger point. With only 2 other customers, being a post-holiday, pandemic, crazy economy where everyone shops on AMAZON, you would think they would welcome the potential purchase? Guess not. So I left and went back home to Wayfair...The only thing going for them is the really cool name. But even Elm trees have been wiped out, so yea... its a one-time visit kind of store.

Walked around for about 10 min and 0 workers acknowledged me. Finally waved someone down and they answered my question and just left.5 minutes later I purchased a $1,800 sofa. Took me 2x the time waiting for no one to say even hello than to make my decision.I came to see the sofa and hoped itd ship faster from ordering in store rather than myself online, so I wasnt coming to be pampered, but service was less than satisfactory.The person who ordered the sofa with me was very friendly overall.

I have two orders open since the first of December with WE and they have pushed our delivery date out three time. Originally we had a delivery date of the end of the second week of December. Now we are looking at middle of March. They never contact us regarding the delay, we keep having to go into their website to check.I go on to their page and both items I am waiting for are still being advertising that they are In-Stock + Ready to Ship. Either they are deceiving their customers in ordering a product that they dont have, or they keep giving my order to someone else. Not cool and never again!

My wife and I would recommend anyone looking for a new couch work with Jake at the Bellevue store. He was the only honest sales person we worked with including Pottery Barn an Create and Barrel. We wanted a somewhat white couch but that was not going to work with our personal situation (Kids and hosting parties regularly) which Jake pointed out immediately after getting to know us.Jake pulled together about 7 other options that would work with the lighting in our living room. We grabbed a fabric that he had not sold many couches in - he said he didnt know much about that fabric and pulled in additional help. He explained how easy it would be to lift stains based off the materials in the fabric.Our experience at West Elm was top notch thanks to Jake. Go have a chat with him if you want to have a great purchasing experience. This review is only on the experience we had with Jake - I will review the couch after it is delivered in the coming months.

First off, we bought a number of big pieces of furniture from West Elm a couple of years ago and we’re overall happy. But today - I’m shocked at how poor the ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE and phone customer service were. It is abominable.Quick summary of the issues:- Out of stock items don’t get reflected on the online store in a timely manner. This is going to waste a ton of customers’ time building a cart full of sold out items. Boy you have a vast amount of merchandise. Time wasted.- Some clearance items are pick up in store only. I entered my US address to check for store pick up availability. And I would still end up with an item in the cart for pickup in-store in Canada. Time wasted.- Customer service rep has no interest in helping you or helping West Elm make business or keep a frustrated customer.Detailed experience:Today Saturday I saw in my inbox West Elm is running a Clearance extra sale and I was immediately attracted to a few items on the page I landed on - The Crinkle Basket collection that contains different sized items. I was so excited to have found these items at a great price, I was ready to check out. But then I thought I might as well check out a few more things some I’ll have to pay shipping and I am happy to shop a little more to support my favorite businesses during the Covid Pandemic (so many of our favorite businesses have declared bankruptcy or moved to massive store shutters by now: Neiman, Nordstrom, JCrew, etc and I’ll not pull restaurants into this topic).I spent about an hour piling in more good deals I found on the sale and ended up with $200 worth of non furniture items. I was excitedly going to checkout my cart. The next page after entering my address I saw a message that item 1 was no longer available. Continue, next page I saw item 2 no longer available. Continue, next page, repeat and repeat. Several pages later, I’m left with four mugs totaling $36.I’m beyond bummed. What went wrong? Ok, somebody saw the same items and beat me to the checkout. Bad luck. I went back in the website without logging in, to see if there’s a chance these Crinkle Baskets are still available. Yes they are! Add to cart! Let’s start all over as another unsuspecting customer! Nope, I called customer service to see if they get a better picture of inventory to look for that chance I can get at least one or tell of these baskets. To their credit, their customer service runs Monday to Saturday.I was told these items are not available. I complained that the website still hasn’t reflected the sold-out status even after a customer has failed to check them out of the cart. The rep says she apologize and some of them are left fort in store purchase only. I asked if I could ask the store to ship out to me, she said You Can, is there anything I can help you with. This all sounds reasonable when customer service will have been 100% replaced by AI. But I’m really let down by the human response I received.Do I find furniture and homeware items I like at West Elm? Yes. Am I going to go back to shop at West Elm Online? Probably not until I know for certain they have fixed up with a robust inventory control on their website.

BUYER BEWARE! Ordered furniture that was in December that was in stock. Paid West Elms hefty price and delivery fees. Its now mid February. The furniture never arrived. No one contacted me to follow up. No idea when or if Ill get it. Calls to customer service have been useless since they had no ability to provide useful information and havent followed up as they said they would. Might need to contact my credit card company to file a claim to recover the money.

Ordered a table from them and had it shipped to the Bellevue store. Received an email while I was out of town saying that the table is ready for pick up and they will held it for 5 days, which is reasonable. The email also explicitly said call them if you need more time, which I did. But they told me they had no room to hold any inventory and cannot extend the 5 days hold. I guess the corporate just dont care about the lie in their email.

Paige at the Bellevue store provided cheerful, great customer service -- and over the telephone! We wanted a particular pillow which was listed as not available on the website. Paige not only checked her sale table and back stock (came up empty), but tracked one down in Reno for us and made the connection to sales people there. Once we telephoned Reno, Alivia also provided great service. What a pleasure. We love West Elm.

I love the products here, but the service could be better. I was here a few weeks ago looking for fabric swatches and to order a sofa. There appeared to be only one employee working the floor, and she was working with another customer the entire time I was in the store. Previous visits to the store were similar; nobody is around to greet anyone coming in or offer help to shoppers browsing.

Every interaction with the online customer service and the store has been like pulling teeth. We were not told that close to $700 in store credit would be mailed to us after a return. We were told it would go back onto the original credit card and obviously was not. Im sorry to put an online review onto a store but I have been talked down to every time I have called. I was told a side table would be delivered 7-10 business days after the purchase. When I questioned why we had not gotten it I was told that we could try to pick it up from a store. I told them I did not want to get my companys card involved and I was told Well, thats your choice. After speaking with a manager at this location all that was explained to me was that it was probably out of the 30 day return window. (This is why the store credit was mailed to us) Probably? This is some of the most disjointed customer service I have experienced. I would love to be able to tell all of my guests that West Elm is a great place to shop but at this point I would send them someplace else.

Very disappointed with this store. I had a mirror I was interested in. Called ahead to make sure it was in stock before driving there. They said they had both colors I was interested in looking at- at least floor models. I arrived and decided on a color. They only had a floor model and refused to sell the one off the floor as “floor models are for all customers to see”. They offered to have it shipped to store for an additional cost of $25. This is a BAIT AND SWITCH! and is an unacceptable way of doing business. I am a long time customer of Pottery Barn and William Sonoma, but had not tried to purchase anything from West Elm. Won’t try again. On top of this horrible business practice, I walked in to find employees complaining loudly about how tired they were, how it had already been a long day. The most friendly interaction I had was an employee smiling at me as they told me point blank they would do nothing to try to help me with this purchase.

Bought three bar stools during a 25% off sale online and picked up from the Bellevue store. Same day, I found one has a crack on it. West elm wanted me to pay full price plus shipping for an exchange since they didnt have any in store, and their corporate wont ship it to their store anymore. WORST COMPANY POLICY EVER! Although I love their design, I would not buy from this company again. They do not stand behind their products and quality.

We went into buy lights for our kitchen and dining room, and while we were there, we noticed one of the walls was painted in a color we really liked. We asked an associate if she knew what color and which distributor theyd used for that wall. She didnt, but said the head designer for the store would know. She took my name and number and said shed have them call me. I didnt think theyd actually follow up, but two days later I got a phone call from the head designer with the information! I think it says a lot about a company when they help you with something that doesnt necessarily add to their profit.

This place sucks. We ordered a king bed frame with their White Glove DeliveryOn the day it was scheduled, my SO took a day off since they only deliver on week days. No big deal. Except, they called when they were supposed to arrive to let us know the hardware didnt come.Fun fact- we sold out prior bed and had the person pick it up the day before.So, we were on hold for a couple weeks. Today was the second scheduled white glove delivery day. Luckily, the SO was allowed to work remotely for the day, so a second vacation day wasnt used - and, SURPRISE SURPRISE, white glove delivery has now misplaced the feet (this issue wasnt mentioned earlier...), so they dont know when they can complete the order.Another thing - west elm contracts with a third party for white glove delivery. Which mean theyve been pointing fingers at eachother for the last several weeks. WAY TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY WEST ELM, or White Glove Delivery third party vendor, or whoever the hell you people are. Not to mention, when it was stated that were sleeping on the couch, the customer service person responded with I used to be homeless so I know how that feels. Congrats to her for making it out of the struggle, but really, know your crowd.In other words, these clowns suck. Cancelling order, never going back.

Gotta love mininalist style and over priced products. My son bought a couch and ottoman that he really liked, $3,500 plus tax. Picked it up today and he looked at two pillows he likes for the couch, figured ya, more expensive than Kohls or Target, but convenience so paid what he thought was $50for the two, looked at the receipt, it was $100. They charge charge m.l outer pillow cover and what is a $3 inner pillow from Joans fabric.At least he had the common sense to go return them. Expect to pay way more than most other places for stuff here.I do not see why you would want to clearly m.l pay much higher prices than can be found at other traditional furniture stores.Place is just OK.

DERRICK provided the best customer service when I ordered my chair HOWEVER the delivery service is beyond subpar. When I received my DAMAGED furniture after SIX tries to correct the situation, it was NEVER resolved. Only buy from here if you can walk out of the store from it do not have anything delivered ever.

Nice furniture. Expense not top bad. The service is poor. No in store inventory. You have to wait months for a delivery. If something is wrong with the furniture you have to wait several more months for the new item. Disappointed that the level of service is not of excellence. The store needs to improve their quality assurance process. They should go above and beyond for their customers like Nordstrom’s.The staff is also rude. I had a incident with one associate that provided inaccurate information when asked about applying for their credit card. She told me it was a soft inquiry when in fact, it was a hard inquiry. MAJOR MISTAKE!! Even the store manager working that day had inaccurate information. Additionally, when you call to follow up on your orders, staff seems to get annoyed. I was told by the manager I called to much. So disappointed that I’m still waiting on my furniture order to be corrected.

No doubt of the design of West Elm. The customer service is excellent during browsing and purchasing stage. But they should work on their furniture quality and return/exchange policy a bit.I bought 6 dining chairs from store, 2 of them are shipped from other store during its 25% sale.One of the dining chairs was not assembled correctly, and two of them have quality issue. So we exchange two with the display chair in store. And we wait the last one for over two month, they said they will have some chairs delivered to store, and the chairs NEVER ARRIVED! I CALL TO STORE 4 TIMES. They finally said they have some display that was returned from a cutomer if I wanna pick it up. I guess that was my return, and that chair has some quality issue.....So I waited two month, then I found out the chair went on sale online. It took me ONLY 3 DAYS to hava a brand new chair delivery to my place, it took west elm 2 MONTHS and the chairs are still not arrived in their store.

Be aware that this company doesn’t value its customers, they have a very poor customer support. I purchased a rug recently ( I am a loyal customer it’s not my first purchase), just 30 mins after I decided to get a bigger size of the rug. I mean the order wasn’t even processed, it wasn’t shipping obviously and they couldn’t do anything to cancel my existing order. So I will have to pay $50 shipping fee again just to get another rug. They also don’t have pick up in store option for most of their items. I see they do it so that the customer wouldn’t bother bringing the item back for return (especially if it is heavy). I have to mention that I also called their customer service on the day I have placed the order and they told me to call tmr morning so they would be able to cancel my order. I did call the next morning and they told me “No sorry, it is already in our fulfillment center and cannot be cancelled”. Not buying anything from this store again.

I ordered a rug directly from the store and the associate told me it was going to be arriving in a week. Two weeks later, I hadn’t heard anything and so I called the store back and they put me on hold for 10 minutes. They then told me that that the rug isn’t there yet and they will call me when it gets there. I ask for an ETA and they say they will call me when it gets there. Mind you, I have already paid for this rug in full. Two weeks later I call again for a status update. Again, the associate is not helpful and just tells me they will call me when it’s arrived. I ask for specific shipping information, and she does not give me any information, but that it could be a couple of weeks. It’s ridiculous that I have spent significant money on this rug, that I was told I would receive in a week and now I have no idea when I’m going to be receiving it.

I swear the staff here is trying to lose their jobs. I walked in with a budget of $7000 to help fill out my new home and walked out with nothing more than a few pieces of dinnerware. Wanted 2 rugs, a dining table, end tables, lamps, a media table, and some decor... after walking two laps around the store over 20 minutes, wondering if anyone actually worked there I was finally approached by a young woman who asked if I needed help. I laid it out bare to her that I had made several selections and was ready to order, and she was honestly too stoned to realize she had to do work and basically said “cool, I’ll check in the back if we have that” and disappeared. I eventually spotted her at the counter chatting with her coworker. You people are insanely bad at your jobs. I challenge you to drive to literally any furniture store and marvel at the hustle being put forth by the underpaid middle-aged staff that are happy to help with a smile and follow you around helping making selections and answering questions, taking notes on your preferences of furniture at a fraction of the cost. As a millennial, you make me ashamed of my generation. Learn some work ethic, it won’t kill you.

I have to admit how excited I was to see West Elm products in person. I have always enjoyed browsing the catalogs and website for inspiration and ideas. We have been looking for a new bed frame. After a lot of arm twisting I finally convinced my husband to come with me and take a look. We traveled 40 miles to the store. The product didn’t disappoint, but the service did to say the least. The store wasn’t crowded, there seemed to be enough staff to handle the amount of customer traffic. The problem for me was the complete lack of friendliness and hospitality. Unfortunately, it ruined any excitement I was feeling about the products and we wound up leaving after 15 mins because we were made to feel like we were annoying the staff with our inquiries.
