Staff are nice! I wish customers would stop being awful and leaving stuff they pick up off shelves all over the floor. Theres only so much staff can do when folks are making messes without any regard to others.Anyway great store, great staff, okay prices.

Excellent customer service by Kris. It was very busy but they had exactly what I wanted.

I was next in line I wasn’t called over or greeted, the cashier just stood there. When I walked up she directed me to online order pick up, the person working the orange table for online order pick up didn’t greet or acknowledge that I was here to pick up online order and just walked away. Someone walked up to her and immediately took that person to the back to get some help. After 15 minutes of waiting she came back and walked right past me even though i was clearly standing at the orange online order pick up table. The customer service is terrible and needs lots of improvement at least from the staff that I encountered. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location.

Bought 6 air balloons yesterday at 3:30pm for a party today at the same time. I specifically asked if the balloons were going to be ok for today and was said it would be good for 42+ hours. This morning, less than 12 hours after the purchase, the balloons were all on the floor (check the pictures). Called the store and no one answer. Left a voice message and no one returned until now. I felt the person who helped me was kind of rude and not helpful but could never imagine that they were charging me for a service that was not going to be provided. Seriously, never go to this store!

Amazing store, good collection. But its more expensive than dollar tree . But if you have any specific party theme in mind, you can find it here.The guy employee was found to be helpful .We even saw some Halloween decorations in month of may !!!The only thing I wouldnt buy from here is disposable dinnerware like plates or glasses or cutlery.Balloon were also good variety but more expensive than dollar tree.Pinatas were good. Colour themes were also easy to find .Good variety of candy also there but again more expensive than other stores, luckily I found some candy on 50% off.

Came for balloons and was informed that they close their counters 15 minutes before they close to prepare to get out on time. Limits placed. Customer lost. Run down location and strange management. The two girls working the front counter were very friendly though.

If this could be a zero, I would. Walked in to get a single mylar balloon for my daughter. The staff was actively filling balloons for a walk-in in front of us. When we got to the counter we were told they were out of helium. Youre a party store. You have one job. The children working here need to be better trained. You dont turn away customers because you dont feel like blowing up more balloons. If supply is an issue, the manager needs to learn how to better balance supply/demand.

Typically I do my best to avoid Party City, mostly because I have only been to the one in Tukwila thats always a mess but this Bellevue location is so different! It is so clean and INCREDIBLY organized - i dont know if i have seen any store this neat let alone a party city! Kimberly helped me multiple times find things I needed and helped me brainstorm for different ideas. She is the best! She truly went above and beyond to help me and you can definitely tell she truly cares about her customers and takes pride in her store. If you ask me she should be running all of the stores!

Lier! Stay away! When you buy balloons, they told you that you can get refill for free. When you come back, they told you that they will charge you the fee as high as buying new one. They admitted that some of their employees gave wrong information. But they refuse to do anything. It’s less about money. It’s how rude they treat their customers. I am willing to drive farther to another store to buy all my party supplies. You should too. It’s never a good idea to do business with lier.

There is a manager at this location that is beyond amazing... By the name of Paul I lost my receipt so I hope he gets these bomb. Com point....... Literally went out of his way 3TIME$... For my sons 8th 8... Thank you so much..

Great place to get party supplies. They have great customer service. Party city also has an array of fun supplies. Balloon crazy. Love it there.

Disappointing service for a pickup order. I ordered online, and received a notice that some of my items were out of stock. That was disappointing in itself, but whatever I can work around that. One of the items was a balloon arch kit that was apparently partly in stock and partly out of stock which was confusing. I showed up and only half my items, of the items that were supposed to be in stock (and I had already been charged for) were in the bags. I had to unpack my order, sort through what actually was in there and then go find the rest of the items myself so I could get what I had been charged for. The employee that handed me my bags initially said nothing about the missing items, but a different employee told me I was allowed to go find them and include them in my pickup order myself.Clearly their stocking system is not accurate at all as I was easily able to find items in the store that they apparently couldnt find to include in my order? It was a confusing mess and I felt terrible having to make a fuss just to get what I paid for, but the out of stock items were literally right in the aisle where they were supposed to be.Now back to the Balloon Arch Kit that I bought for $75 online that they were selling for $100+ in store. Definitely advertised like it includes balloons, they threw in a measly 6 balloons into my pickup order, but when sorting my order out, they claimed the kit did not come with balloons so I bought even more to make up for that, on top of the pickup order price. Long story short the arch kit looks cool, but you could DIY something from home depot for so much less if youre even moderately handy. Dont be fooled by the kit, its not a kit, because it doesnt come with everything you need, it just comes with some cheap PVC piping and some fillable water weights.

I had a horrible experience here and would not recommend them to anyone who needs reliable service. We had ordered balloons a week in advance for 10:30am pick up. When we got there, we were told that our order wasnt going to be ready until Noon because they had over 200 pick-up orders to fulfill. Well, our party was at 11:30am and we were left high & dry with no balloons for our babys 1st birthday party.Up until the pick-up day, the staff at Party City had been wonderful -in particular Chris, who helped us with our order. The issue is obviously management, that isnt organized and takes on more orders than their employees can fulfill. I will NEVER be ordering balloons from them again.

Empty shelves, no many products to choose for. Looked more like a ghost town.

The place is extremely messy and unorganized. The shelves are empty most of the times. The service from answering the customers to managing the store is zero. The manager obviously can’t handle the store. Always telling their customers that they are short staff! Never have their order ready on time.

Found what I needed, but the girls at the register ignored me and bickerd back and forth over who was going to do go-backs. I threw the items on the counter and walked out.

Second day helium balloons. Terrible quality. This happens to us each time we go there. This was our last time.Even from Dollar tree helium balloons last more than a week.

Found great costumes for Halloween but went again to shop for kids birthday but aisles looked quite empty. Couldnt find any items for the theme we were planning, so had to rely on Amazon.

Love the place, you can get themed party stuff at good price, so much variety of options, will keep coming here.

Unless you just want balloons its not really conducive to putting together your own party its more like a if you have a specific character or show that you want your entire party to be themed around but they have a limited selection of those popular themes, idk it wasnt bad but it wasnt great, I would probably recommend going to like Michaels or a craft place to get party stuff or even like a Dollar tree

This place is not only over priced, but also has really has bad service. We ordered two packages of balloons and told them to bundle them together. They conveniently missed one package when we picked them up. When I asked them to tie them all together they rudely refused. Bad bad service!

One of the worst customer careI went there to purchase balloon bunch and they told me it will take 40 minutes (seriously). After waiting for 40 minutes in Parking when I went inside it was not done and they told me it will take another 30 minutes. Looks like they don’t value others time at all. They have some collage or school goers on counter who will be more interested in gossiping than doing actual work. I am very sure soon this store will be closed like others in this area. There was no store manager who is keeping watch on how customers are treated. If I have options I will never visit this store ever.

Visited Party Citys Bellevue Crossroads store looking for theme items for my kids birthday. The store had a large collection of items and had most items we needed. They allowed ordering Helium baloons ahead of time which was an added plus. They also had tons of stuff for Halloween

Not too many people were there. I was looking for Xmas cards but not very much. Lots of Xmas decorations though.

It was nice until the cashier broke my lollipop by dumping everything into the bag from the basket. Who would want a broken carnival 🍭 lol thanks girl.

Huge selection, friendly management. Was impressed with the way store manager helped with my purchase and product suggestions.Relatively high pricing but still worth the money.

This place is overpriced party supplies and costumes. Its convenient if you just want to look at a bunch of things in one place but you can get better quality party supplies anywhere else. Also, their inventory system online doesn’t match whats in the store, so be sure to call if you’re looking for something in particular.

Nice store with party stuff, including helium balloons coming in myriads of shapes and sizes. You ll also get plates, spoons and all kinds of stuff needed for a party. The stuff sometimes is on the lower side of quality.. so perhaps not suitable if you are throwing a posh soiree

Party City has a fairly comprehensive variety of party decorations and accessories. Please know that they do not have every Christmas ornament, Thanksgiving day table decorations, or sorts. They do however have decorations for general parties and then a section for seasonal holidays. They carry masks, face painting, wigs and hair styles, table clothes and tableware, candy, balloons, practically anything you would need for a birthday party, and some equipment like fog machines. They arent the cheapest but it isnt overly expensive either. Plenty of parking in front.

Tons of stuff out of stock, so many empty shelves that it was eerie, service was friendly, though of very little actual help, both in locating items, and following through on items ordered. However picking up items ordered was extremely easy and they had it ready on time.if you need party stuff, youll probably find it here, but dont expect much help in actually finding those things, or much knowledge from the staff regarding where those items might be, or if they are in stock, or if indeed they even carry it

I had a GREAT experience at The Party City in Bellevue. The younger kids that were working were knowledgeable, polite, and worked well together. I didnt have to wait long like I have in the past at other party cities. I WILL come back for my party needs.

Bad service, kept lot of temp staff who has no idea what was in store. Had to wait for 1:30 hr just for inflation of ballon. Hellium is mostly out of stock on weekdays.. Disappointed the way other customer were given privilege over others.

They have a very wide range of themed party supplies, plus costumes & holiday decorations.

So disappointed with their selection. They had almost nothing I was looking for. I wanted plastic cocktail glasses (nope), metal tassel curtain walls (nada), helium tank to blow up my own balloons (again no), silver metal plastic plates (no). I walked out with napkins and toothpicks. Also, the cost of helium has sky rocketed. I wanted to have gold letter balloons that spelled out happy birthday and it would have cost $180 between the balloons and having them filled with helium. Thats insane! Balloons are supposed to be the cheap decoration. Bought my supplies at Michaels instead.

The 15 balloons Id bought (and asked to be inflated) that morning had been given to someone else by the time I returned that afternoon. Instead of it being all-hands-on-deck to rectify the situation, one person slowly completed the task while the manager and other associate restocked items and meandered around the registers. The replacement balloons would have been filled and strung within in a few minutes. Instead, I waited 20 more minutes. Mistakes happen, but then you should try your best to minimize the inconvenience to the customer and I feel as if the second attempt proceeded as if it were the original order with no additional urgency.

Very rude stock boy in the back refused to look for a costume and said “I’m busy” and refused service to us. Manager seemed overwhelmed and a girl was rude to her coworker instead of helping her and showing her how to blow up the balloons she just bossed her around. Poor management and young people working here they need someone calm and collected to train their employees better

Things are a wee over priced but not as bad as Id expect at a party supply only store. There are clearance items available too, and tons of options so well worth a visit. Only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is the register line is a little confusing and staff were a bit slow.

Terrible customer service during Halloween. I got home and one costume had a broken zipper and the other had a missing tail. So no return policy and two crying kids later means I’m never shopping here again. The employees pulling costumes couldn’t even handle 5 customers and were busy horsing around with each other. Shop online!! At least your costumes haven’t been tried on and damaged by others.

An employee neglected to ask me to provide my email address, which is required for returning without a receipt. However, a store manager was kind enough to search for the transaction based on date of purchase and I was able to return the merchandise. Remember to provide your email!

I tried to buy some candies (loose) 10 for $1.00 but there was no bags or neither thongs to get the candies so I missed my candies.

Store seems to be in constant state of chaos. Clerk couldnt find the balloons by numbers. Wish I wouldve just ordered online.

I am giving it a 5star just because of the amazing staff namely Mobina. I mean it was a busy period because of prom, i was totally confused on how to pick my daughters 16th birthday balloons. While the other 3 ladies were under pressure and looked frustrated Mobina was calm and collected and took time to explain to us how to go about picking up the balloons what would have taken us 40mins wait time only took 5mins or less. Mobina is an acsset to Party City and she is the reason I will be a returning customer.😁

Bellevue was out of what I needed. Staff was not willing to help find the items at another store, but did when asked. I drove to woodinville. They were out of helium. Drove back to Bellevue. Both stores had unfriendly people working who couldn’t be bothered to help find items. They just tell you an isle number and leave you to fend for yourself. I had three businesses needing balloons for a special event. I will be sourcing another vendor in the future.
