The windshield replacement went fine and as expected. However the communication leading up to it was less than desirable. First off there is very little contact information on their web site. I wanted to verify that my new windshield would have same visor screening as the stock manufacturer. It was impossible to talk to anyone. And the window of time they gave and updates or lack thereof to that when late was as bad as old cable companies. Just not good communication all around. But install is fine.
I could not get ahold of anyone at this location to confirm the status of my vehicle. I was told it would be ready today and that someone would call when the car was ready to be picked up. At 4:35pm I called and was sent to an automatic phone service, which was extremely frustrating and NOT helpful. The voicemail told me their normal business hours are 8:00-5:00pm PST and to call back during that time and then disconnected me. Again, it was 4:35pm. Im now left without a car and have no way of knowing if it will be ready tomorrow.
So I called in the morning to make sure I had an appointment and the insurance was all in order. Get there 10 minutes beforehand and the first strike is that somehow all the information is not there. Oh there are emails with the claim number and the price with my appointment info on it. Thats how I paid. Strike 2. Now during the wait they had 4 customers that had the wrong windshield ordered. Safelite employees are the one that ask for car make/info and vin. All appointments are two week out. Strike three. One customer asked why that happened when they made sure the right one was ordered. The employee said he cant do anything and left the counter with the customer just standing there. Strike 4. I was in the waiting room and started this review 15 minutes after 5. They still have not started my car.I understand if you are running behind, bit how hard is it to call the customers/appointments letting them know.Just dont come here.
These guys were awesome! My insurance company sent me to them and I admit to being somewhat hesitant but they were on point. Scheduling online was easy, they sent regular reminders and the young lady at the desk when I picked up my vehicle was utterly professional and kind. The shocker was that when I got in my car to leave, it was vacuumed and cleaned up nicely. Wow!!
Very friendly staff and quick service. For now the quality is great. We will see how it holds up over time.
Safelite in Bellevue worked hard to get my windshield done quickly. They are a great example of excellent customer service.
Ryan was great and did an amazing job on our Prius Prime replacement windshield. He replaced the entire windshield and also did a perfect windshield camera calibration. Really appreciated how I was informed throughout the process on status. 10/10
Took insurance. Excellent work done. Even moved my oil change sticker to the new glass. Top notch. Even calibrated it for my eyesight system.
Nice people. Too busy. Cramped parking lot. Had an appointment for 10 arrived in time. Vehicle was not touched until nearly 11
Unfortunately, had been here twice for windshield replacement... very bad experience both the times. Technicians are good but whoever manages the appointments and windshield-orders makes sure that the overall experience is painful. They just dont respect your time. Dropped my car on a scheduled appointment only to hear end of the day that they dont have the right windshield. This happened even after the person at the front desk confirmed (I checked twice, before going and on that day too) that they have the right parts. Now, they say they will let me know when the part arrives with no timeline…indefinite wait, so frustrating.
Cracked glass of car. Safelite gave me an appointment. I was there just in time. They told me they didnt have the glass. I canceled everything and went there. They had no right to it. They are not serious.
Michael Casey was the one that worked on my car and the work was flawless! They replaced my windshield and also had to do the recalibration of safety features associated with the windshield. The installation was perfect, no left over dust, glue, or debris. The safety features like lane departure warning, brake warning, and blind spot monitoring are working even better than they did before! I would highly recommend taking your car here for any window work. They took care of my car and the customer service was great! Amy at the front desk has the cutest little dog and was very helpful when I called to check up on my car and schedule the appointment! Thank you!
The price was less than the quote and the new windshield was beautiful.
Everyone was very friendly. Fast service even though they looked extremely busy. Very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend.
Quick efficient service. Dropped off the afternoon before and they ended up starting repair the same day before they closed for the day. Went back the next morning when they opened to pickup
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE for ANY SERVICE. I made an appointment on a Monday for a windshield replacement. 30 minutes after I dropped off my car, they called me to say they didnt have the correct parts and so I needed to reschedule. They told me the correct parts would either arrive the next day or by the end of the week, that I could be squeezed in on Saturday, and that someone would reach out to me to facilitate this. Friday rolled around and nobody called me. I had to call the store 3 times before getting through to someone, and they said the parts hadnt arrived and that I would need to reschedule for 3 weeks out. There was complete disorganization and no communication on their part.
Had to call for a truck windshield repair. Just getting a live person is difficult. Both times, on hold for 20 plus minutes before someone was able to speak with me. Not professional in my eyes. Why have a local number when you cant talk to someone and have to wait for the next available associate.
I got 3 chips in my windshield driving across country last summer. I scheduled with Safelite because of their reputation of being one of the best if not the best when it comes to glass repair. I was scheduled about 2-3 weeks out from when I called but I was fine with that because I knew I would have good service. The staff was friendly, but when I showed the tech the cracks, he said that they would still be really visible when they were finished. I figured you would still be able to see a little bit, but this was a really shotty job. After a few months of not being satisfied, and seeing commercials for Safelite that showed the glass repair process looking like your windshield was brand new again, I took my car to a local glass repair place in Seattle and asked them if they could fix the job Safelite did. He told me it was a once shot deal, and if it gets messed up that the only way to fix it is to replace the whole windshield with new glass. He said it was a terrible job that Safelite did on the repair and that the tech that did it had no idea what he was doing. Im really disappointed with the quality of my repair and would recommend getting your repairs done somewhere else.
Warning……. Warning………warningThis is worse location and very rude customer service, they gave me appointment after two weeks, i gave all the information of my car, so on the appointment day i took off from job, to get my car done basically when they start working on my car, after hour they saying we are sorry we order wrong parts for your car we can’t fix it. Do not take your car to this location they’re not professional at all. She was very rude on the phone Amy N
Make an appointment two weeks a ago. Two days before the appointment, I was told its canceled because the part has not yet been ordered and could not arrive on time. One day before the appoinment, a specialist reach out want to confirm whether you want to order the glass? Ridiculous.
Someone smashed one of my windows to steal a bag. I have progressive insurance and they partner with safelite so I started a claim, said it would be $410 to replace the window. I called 3 other shops in the area and they all gave me an estimate between $280-$300. Safelite is trying to rip you off!!!! Don’t go here. Not worth it. Also they don’t even pick up their phone, terrible customer service.
Great work. Fun help. And affordable. Highly recommended.
This would have been the 3rd time that this very shop replaced my windshield on the same truck with the same antenna mount. First two times they did great. For some reason this time the technician wasnt comfortable doing it. It wasnt an issue the first two times. He also could have just removed the two bolts for the mount while removing the cowl. Dont go to this shop.
The quality of work they do in this shop is second to none. Theyre busy, be patient., its worth it. My tech, Randy had 20 years experience. Thanks for the great install...
Have literally wasted so much of my time. I created a claim with my insurance for my windshield and it has taken 3 times to get my windshield. They have a brought an incorrect or defective windshield every time. At this point I have been waiting for a windshield for 2-3 months. Absolute waste of their customers time and they just cannot get it right. Currently waiting with a tech outside to see if they have the right windshield AGAIN! Hopefully third times a charm but I will never use safelite again.
4 visits to get the windshield repaired. They 1) ordered the wrong part 2) Had the wrong part delivered 3) Did not get a delivery of part. Go somewhere else. You will get your sanity and your time back.
Nice staff!Quick and painless on fixing the spot on my windshield.
Not professional and bad quality . They broke a bunch of things while working on my door window. They claim they will fix everything through warranty service but its been the third time and every time they broke something else and made false statement regarding the repair, and did really poor job putting things together. some parts are even missing after the repair.I will not trust this store and will not let their technician touch my car again.
Great customer service. Really cared about how I was doing. Clean waiting and restroom.
BUYER BEWARE. God awful place. I took my car there for a rear windshield replacement which cost $800. My rear bumper was damaged while at the shop. They charge another 25$ to clean your car which, they don’t. Non-existent customer service via phone. Wish I took my car anywhere else but here.
Good service all around
Amy is amazing very courteous very customer oriented goes above and beyond to make sure that she meets all your needs
Safelite wanted literally twice as much as I just paid to end up having my windshield replaced. On top of that I got a warranty and $50 restaurant gift card. They definitely have some sort of referral agreement with insurance companies and they charge absurd prices because most people wont call around for a better price. I called 3 other places and all 3 were cheaper than Safelite for the same service. I called Safelite twice to try and cancel my appointment and was left on hold for 15 minutes each time until I hung up and canceled my appointment online.
Couldnt reach anyone to answer questions so I found someone else. West coast auto glass did an excellent job right in my driveway the next day. 5 stars for them
They did a excellent job replacing our windshield but they messed up the windshield wipers. We had to have their mobile service come to fix the nonworking wipers. They messed up again and we had to take the car to the Ford service to fix them. At a cost of $198.10.
Communication was great before and after the service. Tech also described other details they found during the repair. Very satisfied.
Brought car, they call me to tell that part is broken. Promised to call when new part is in and they inspect it.No call from them. Called them instead, they tell me part is in and bring the car. Brought the car, they call later in the day to tell that part is damaged again.Go some other place
Repair was twice as fast as they told me and cheaper. Very pleased.
Good place to bring your breaking car glass to repair your car
Booked my appointment. But after I had booked they tried to get my vin number. They canceled my appointment because of this. They dont need my vin number. These people have no shame.
Got my quote getting work none June 1st
Chip RepairJust paid $91.00 and the chip looks exactly the same as it did when I dropped the vehicle off, doesn’t appear to be filled with resin. I new it wouldn’t be perfect butThere is no differences at all.Don’t waste your money save it for a new windshield.
Good work! Raise other issues i wasnt aware of, of wear and tareon rear windshield wiper and replaced it when I was only in for my windshield. Front lady was sweet. Only had to pay for down payment with tax.
Terrible management. 1 hour job they quoted for 1.5 hours from the time I checked in with my appointment on time, it turned out to be 4 hours long wait. They would not update you, and you had to go and ask, the answer is we will get the work started soon. I wont recommend this place to anyone
Best place for all your auto glass needs. I have been here 5 times and I receive the best customer service each and every time. The lady at the front desk is super nice and she will make sure you are satisfied with their work. They work with your insurance directly which makes your job easier. I had issue once and they stood behind their work and fixed it in no time. I highly recommend this place.
No one anticipates glass damage but our customers have come to anticipates Safelites quick and efficient service... So says the automated hold message which I just listened to for more than half an hour without response. In addition, their earliest appointment was a month from when I called. I will change the review to 3 stars or possibly more if the appointment goes well and people are friendly.Edit: They were on time for the appointment and the service was professional. That being said, if you are in a hurry you should choose a different company and if you have a question getting a response by calling does not yield quick results. And clearly the person who responded to the Google review didnt actually read what I wrote.
My review is NOT about their service, but rather their technological inadequacy surrounding their phone system. Whomever designed it might be the LEAST INTELLIGENT PERSON (or persons) in that space. No one calls to tell you that your vehicle is complete, but you CANNOT call them either -- not the local or national number! As your appointment (mine, in this case) has now passed, Im no longer in their system, so no one will talk to me. The phone system just hangs up and thats that. Ive got a receipt that makes me assume the vehicle is complete, but since I have to take a ride share over to pick up my vehicle, Id rather confirm formally that it is indeed complete.Ive had Safelite complete work for me before and theyve done a good job. Im going to assume thats the case this time around, too. EVERYTHING else about the customer experience in this space is GOD AWFUL.
Commercial says just drive in and they will fix a chip in the windshield. No such luck.
Great customer service. My Husband had a 330pm apt and it was busy so we had to wait 20ish mins but once the guy started to work on the passenger window he was done in 25 mins. Super impressed considering he said it would take 45 to 60 mins to do it.
Got broken into, Safelite was able to install a new side window the next day. The glass tech specialized in doing side and back glass only. She was actually a few minutes early and had the job done faster than she estimated.
Very good service...Thanks you!@
My insurance referred me to this location to repair my windshield by appointment. I set my appointment a week out for a Saturday. I was asked to drop off in the morning and they would call me when it was repaired in about 3 hours. Well 5 hours later while having my vehicle the whole time they called me to tell me they ordered the wrong part for my windshield and I would have to come get my car as they couldn’t repair it. Then I could set up another appointment to fix it next week. Interesting when I gave them my vin originally, my vehicle info and everything, but they still ordered the wrong part then had the balls to tell me “well it’s not really anyone’s fault” Yes it is someone’s fault. It’s safelite’s fault for ordering the wrong part and wasting my entire day. Take accountability and apologize don’t just say it’s really no ones fault. Don’t deal with these people. Try another shop and save your time.
They came out and replaced my windshield at my work place. The technician was super friendly and had my car ready in a little over an hour. Great communication and work done. Very easy and painless. Shout out to Mitchel for the amazing service.
Got the company cars window fixed here the staff was very friendly and helpful
Great, timely, friendly service, and insurance billing was a breeze!
Super fast and friendly. We shopped around and found this place was the best. Suggest calling them directly to get a great appointment time.
Clean and effient drop off process.
After waiting a week they showed up with the wrong windshield. I went with Allstar Auto Glass.
Jennifer at the front desk was kind and efficient. She walked me through the steps I needed to go through to make a claim. My windshield was seen and assessed within 5 minutes and repairs started within 30. The technicians are honest and upfront with your unique glass situation. Even if my specific windshield crack doesn’t work out, they took care of me with quick, professional, and reliable care. This is the place. Mike will set you up right. WOW. ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️
To begin with, Safelite in Bellevue, WA have put in indicators, when u enter into their office, where one can stand and sit per social distancing due to COVID situation. They are very courteous. They have coffee and snacks available. The maintenance person (Cisco, thats his name) was waiting for me and ready to take on the task. He went above and beyond to replace my glass and fix something else which is not part of their defined statement of work - absolutely helpful. They had wifi available while I waited there for couple hrs, allowing me to do my office work. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Thank u, Safelite!!!
Wonderful service! They are very genuine and welcoming. I didnt feel intimidated at all or talked into things I didnt need. The office is impeccably clean and comfortable. Everyone is knowledgeable and I knew I was getting the best service for my windshield replacement. The manager truly seems to care about the customers who come in and was very transparent with explaining the process and prices. I was seriously so impressed with the timeliness and quality of my windshield replacement and will be recommending this shop to everyone!
Appointment by internet only...2-3 years ago you had guys in tents sitting on every other corner taking care of everybody for $50 or getting with our insurance companys and getting windshields fixed for free in an hour... what happened???
Customer service was absolutely horrible. They are not knowledgeable of cracks.
Employees were all super nice and helpful, and fixed my windshield very expediently.
Super friendly and professional service.
They were quick to fix my rock chip.
Can’t even get to a live person on the phone for help
I came in with a small crack on my windshield caused by a pebble on the freeway and they quickly assessed it and helped me schedule an appointment. It was super simple and easy, they helped me figure out what my insurance would cover, and was in and out in the time frame they mentioned up front, which Im not used to with auto related appointments! Although I sure hope I dont have a need to come back in the future, I wouldnt hesitate to do so if the need arose.
Got me done early! Very well run location, taking the right precautions and making sure everyone is comfortable.
They had me in and out super quick. So far the new shield is holding up. No complaints from my experience.
I cannot understand all the negative reviews here. These folks seem very professional and well trained. Just like in life, nobody is perfect. The people leaving negative reviews most likely have some valid reason (in their head) for the complaints. But, in my experience, this is the best Safelite shop I have dealt with. They fixed a bad windshield install from another Safelite location in Central Washington. Then they fixed another mistake from the aforementioned Safelite company; a squeaking window. To sum up, I am impressed with these folks and would definitely recommend this shop. Maybe I just have an easy vehicle to work on; not my fault if some of those complaining wasted money on overpriced (faux luxury vehicles, ego mobiles, stuff that has been massively changed from OEM standards), thus making things a lot more complex to fix. That isnt to say the staff here cant deal with it. But if you do have something complex, why are you not going to a shop that actually deals with said vehicle; only deals solely with said vehicle? Temper your expectations a little bit and things probably get a little easier, and learn how to accept stuff even if it isnt 100% perfectSorry for the rant (No I am not). This is a decent shop and I would recommend them.
I sat on HOLD for these people for 15 minutes and no one ever picked up. Horrible customer service.
I had my car broken into last night and was able to get my insurance company on the phone and they set me up with a drop off appointment to replace my window at this location. I dropped off my car in the morning and they had it done within a couple hours. It was such a relief to have it done so quickly and with great service.
Worse service ever
I called to schedule an appointment for my 33 year old car in good condition. I verbally confirmed with them on the phone that there would be no issues getting mobile service. I was adamant that they confirm they could perform the service on my specific vehicle and they had all the parts. I then asked to be forwarded to the local shop that would dispatch, so I could confirm with THEM directly that there would be no surprises. They gave me the green light!Fast forward to the day of the appointment. I get a call from the tech on the road and he beats around the bush for a few minutes before being straight with me and admitting he cannot perform mobile service and I must go into a shop. I needed this windshield done asap, but he couldnt meet me at the shop or get an appointment the same day for me at a shop because of their incompetence.I called the safelite 1-800 to complain, the first rep gave me ATTITUDE on the phone so I hung up on them and called again, and they easily got me a same-day appointment 35 minutes away in Seattle. I do the same confirmation, I bring up the age of the car and want to make sure they can perform the job without any issues, and they say they are good to go, I ask to be sent to the local shop for double confirmation and we are good. I sign up and get out of work to drive down there. I get there, I check in with the front desk, sign papers, and sit for about 15 minutes. They call me up and say they need me to schedule for a different day because they need senior techs to work on a car so old. I thank your front desk for wasting my time again and leave.Safelites problems;-When I first called to make an appointment, I did it online then called to confirm and they took over an hour and failed to locate my online quote-They are not knowledgeable in what they are capable of doing-They are brainless on the phone and even if you directly ask them about specific issues you know will occur, they are clueless and tell you everything will be fine-They will disrespect your time making you wait for mobile techs that will flake on you, make you come into their shop to tell you to come back another day
I recently had the back window of a work truck shatter and decided to try Safelite out despite the low reviews. Their website was incredibly easy to use to book an appointment and the charges were very straight forward. When I arrived I was quoted the same time they told me online (60-90 minutes) The job itself took that long if not less and the technician was very good at communicating with me, even letting me know that the new window had a hook up to the defroster that the trucks current window was not hooked up to. Overall satisfied with the job that was done, the 4 stars is only because the broken glass inside the cab was not cleaned up but the window itself has a nice seal and has not leaked since the repair was made.
Awesome experience. Guys were great. Took care of my windshield wiper issue in 5 minutes.
What you’d expect from just about any safelite. Quick and friendly service.
Speed, professionalism, and efficiency; when your car needs glass repaired/replaced, thats all that matters...and Safelite delivered. I wouldnt hesitate to bring my car to them again when the need arises, and you shouldnt either.
Showed up in my parking lot at work and did a good job replacing the window, glass quality is great. However, when removing my wipers, the installer lost the adjuster nut somewhere in my engine bay. Came out to my car to see 3 installers standing around the car, they never found the nut. It is now SOMEWHERE in my engine bay, no idea where or any potential issues it could cause. Also, this resulted in not having a passenger wiper. Safelite refunded me $60 and ordered the part. Fast forward to the following week, the part comes in. I had to call Safelite to ask for status update, they did not contact me to schedule. Installer comes to re-install the wiper arm. Between initial install day and this day, they also lost the installation nut and plastic cover cap. They promise to order the parts, I request they send them directly to my address, so I can do the install myself and just get it over with. Its been a week and a half, still no parts have arrived. I have been driving my car for 3 weeks, in the SPRING, in SEATTLE with only one functioning wiper. Driving has been very dangerous and has nearly caused accidents by not being able to see out of half of my windshield in the rain.
Good service.
My appointment there got cancelled twice for the same reason: the windshield they are going to put on my car has a big scratch. It was totally a waste of time.
I do not understand how they get 3.5 stars with the customer service they have! More than a year ago I needed the windshield replaced. New car, new model, the windshield had to come from the dealer on special order. It went back, because nobody took the time to call me when the part was in (I was waiting for couple of weeks, special order remember?). When I call to inquire about it, they order it one more time. This time I am on top of things, and I call almost daily. The part is confirmed in, I make an appointment (the last of the day). I go for the appointment. I see the front desk guy arguing with the technician, and he comes back with a flat answer The part is not in without even checking the rack with parts or his computer. I return next day early in the morning (after calling the main office and giving them a piece of my mind. The new guys apologize for the misunderstanding, blah-blah-blah. The only reason I did not cancel all and went to another provider was the fact I had to special order the part, and I could not just put it in my car and go to another shop, or restart the process and wait another month.Fast forward to today... even if I had a bad experience with them in the past, couple of days ago I stop by to inquire about a very small chip on my windshield. We humans have a tendency to forget and forgive... It was at closing hours, the technician sees me puling in and comes to see what is all about. He was very nice, told me to come next day... they can do it on the spot, etc. When I go, the front desk guy told me that they can not help me... too much work... The fact that someone in their team told me to just stop by next day did not make a difference. I did not expect them to do it for free. When I told him how I feel about it, he asked me to come later, they might be able to help me... might... No way. I am not going back there. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me! You wont get a third chance to treat me this way.
Excellent service
Great job on my company truck
6 hours to replace windshield... Yikes.
They never showed up.
Derick from this location is an awesome guy and helped me get a small discount when I forgot to plug in the code online. Ill be recommending anyone and everyone that has a window replacement need to come see him specifically. Thank you for great service, expeediance, and help!
Car insurance introduced them for changing glass. After finished job I found a dent on the body, upper of the new installed glass. The installer said this one was before and we have all photoes before starting work on replacement but they didnt show any photoes at that time. Later when i checked taken photos with my wife I realized this dent happened in their shop.
I live in Kirkland but was sent to the Seattle location to avoid waiting 3 weeks to get my windshield replaced. They make my apt for 9 am and I tell them at that time that I wouldn’t be able to make it until 9:20, they assure me that’s fine. I called again the day before letting them know I would be 15-20 minutes late for my apt and to confirm they would still be able to do it. They again assured me it’s fine and they have it noted in their system. I show up at 9:15 and am told that they can no longer do it because I was 15 minutes late, even though they told me on two separate occasions that it was ok that I would be a little late. So now I have to drive back to Seattle and fight traffic early to be there at 8 am to see if they will actually fix my windshield or if they are just lying to me again. Wouldn’t bother going here unless you don’t have a schedule to keep.
GREAT service, great people-quickly fit us in for a temporary drivers door window, when ours got smashed out by vandals. They didnt charge us anything and were personable and helpful, and we VERY much appreciated their help. Thank you to Derek, who did the window fix.
Greart timely service at the Safelite shop.
Had windshield replaced on my Infiniti Q60 by Safelite AutoGlass in Bellevue WA, process was smooth and fast. All windshield sensors were calibrated! They did great job! My experience was very satisfying! Thank you.
- broke a separate piece of my window during the repair, but still forced me to pay before they fixed it- tried to get me to pay without giving me a receipt- ordered the wrong part, but when I called to verify, AND when I dropped the car off, they confirmed that they had the right part. Only after I had left my car with them did I get a call saying that I needed to come back and pick it up because they had ordered the wrong part- No matter when I call the safelite phone number, its a higher than normal call volume and takes 30 min to reach a person- I didnt get a call/email when the part was ready for me to come in and get my window repaired- I complained about this fact, and yet when I had to come back AGAIN (after they ordered the wrong part), they AGAIN made the same mistake and didnt call me when my part came in.- it wasnt the absolute worst, folks were friendly and other than breaking the piece of my window, the repair was well done.edit: removed the part about a broke seatbelt, that probably happened in the smash & grab
Ive used this Safelite location multiple times and each time they were kind and professional. My most recent experience was no different.
I came in on Friday to see if the crack in my winshielf could be fixed or if i had to replace the whole windshield. I was informed that my crack can be fixed however i was unable to have it repaired that day. I spoke to the tech who stated if i came back Saturday morning first thing they could get my in and out. When i came in this morning to have my windshield fixed the same tech informed me that they are participating in the random acts of kindess week and i was choosen to have my windsheild repaired at no cost. This safelite location is amazingly kind. The fact that they are participating in somethig that pays it forward is amazing. I am very grateful. I would recommend this location regardless of the act of kindness or not, i do have USAA and they would have covered my crack in full. But the fact that everyone i spoke to here has been so good in communicated and customer serivce and getting their clients in and out in a timley manor is what makes a buisness good. If you need your windshield repaired or replaced this is my spot. Thank you Safelite of Bellevue
Worse experience with safelite Bellevue looks like front desk lady drinking alcohol in pepsi can.... she even didn’t reply what happened with my order when I visited first time there.. and second time when I visited there she said that I m having a appointment with them but it’s still on hold for approval.. means she called me from 25miles to say that she can’t help me....another story she informed my insurance that I m doing fraud thing to fix my windshield....wow thanks lady for doing everything...do not drink on work...
First appointment- sat there for the whole service and at the end of the 2 hours my 9 inch crack was across my whole windshield and they couldnt replace it cause they had the wrong glass. Second appointment 6 days later (soonest they could do) they were on their way and cancelled cause they had the wrong glass after i had confirmed all the info in person after the first time. Now its my third appointment and my tech is 20 minutes late. I am so disappointed and annoyed and didnt get an apology at all through this process. Dont use safelite- dont use this location.
I asked them to change my windshield blade when I did a replacement for my windshield on 7/19. When I picked up my car, it is very late and I didnt try it until I drive on the road. I found the angle of the blade didnt correct at all. It cant wipe the water on the drive side. On the second day, I drove back and they adjust the angle. Today is 8/5 and when I drove on the road, the blade on the drive side just flied out and it is so scary since driver side window is opening. Dont know the quality for the windshield. But I will NEVER come back to this place again.
Update: lowering to one star (from two stars). Its been two months, they keep replacing windshields with other OEM windshields with manufacturing defects - scratches and distortions mostly (at least they say these are OEM). So I went through three appointments already, tomorrow will be the fourth. Now my life is a series of appointments with Safelite, there is no hope whatsoever...Oh, and it looks like they also left a spot on the dashboard that I cant clean off.Old review: OK, so I had to replace my windshield (a stone on a highway hit it so bad that it cracked in half - could happen to anyone, right?), and my insurance company sent me to these guys. I had to wait for 8 days for an appointment, and now they are saying that the glass they have wont fit my car, and I have to wait 15 more days for the next appointment. So it takes 3.5 weeks to simply get an appointment to replace a cracked windshield? I wonder what will happen next: will the problem be fixed, or will it take a couple of months going back and forth, like with other reviewers? The only reason for adding a star is because the technician showed me what was wrong with their glass, and he didnt have to.
