I spilled water on my computer and fried it, took it in to Computer Room where Kara examined the computer & laid out my options clearly. I ended up getting a new computer and she was able to migrate the salvaged files. She truly made this process painless and was extremely helpful every step of the way. Real troupers, keeping up acceptance and diagnosis of computer ailments in spite of . Found fatal failures in my primary and backup desktop PCs; declared them to be not economically repairable. However, told me of a unit in their inventory which was the same price as a PC at another store, but with greater performance. All this plus smiles and cheery attitudes.

Best place to take your PC if youre having issues. The staff is very passionate and extremely knowledgeable, not too mention friendly. I built my PC from scratch and have taken it here on multiple occasions. They diagnosed a fried motherboard for me, helped me with annoying positive/negative auxiliary power, etc. They didnt even ask for payment for either! (I paid them anyways)

I am a busy consultant working remotely, My Lenovo ThinkPad on/off switch failed. I took it here, explained I needed it fixed quickly, they asked if a jury rig to get it back up and running was acceptable. I agreed, they called me less than an hour later, cost was ~$40, and they showed me how to turn it on should their fix fail. Any place else would have told me it needed a new keyboard, which would take a week and cost more than ~$160.

Friendly & Knowledgeable staff. have used this business 3 times, BEST COMPUTER REPAIR SHOP, that I have found in the Belleville area. VERY REASONABLE rates and quick turn around times, plus they tell you EXACTLY what is wrong with your system and dont try to pad the bill, like Ive seen other places around here do. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that when you have computer problems that you cant fix, take it to them and youll be quite happy with the experience.

Twice Ive gone in for a part I needed right away. Usually when I go somewhere to buy a part I expect to be talked down to and to have someone attempt to con me into buying a bunch of stuff I dont need. Not the case at the Computer Room. I walked in, told them what I needed, they showed me their selection, I bought it. No condescension, no high pressure sales attempts, nothing but quick, courteous service.A third time I went in with an aging power supply that I was 99% sure was my problem. I walked in with the suspect power supply to find an identical replacement. An employee asked my situation and I explained it, he said they would test my dead one for free so that I could be sure it was the problem. It was. They had the identical one. I bought it. End of story. Once again, no snotty attitude, no condescension or attempts at up-selling. Just friendly, helpful service.

These guys are awesome. If you need it fast, you can get expedited service for just a few bucks more. They do repairs that most other places dont do, like replacing capacitors on motherboards, power supplies. They even re-flowed a video GPU chip for me on my laptop. All accomplished for reasonable rates. Highly recommend!!!!! A++++++++

Great service and priced right.

They were able to fix my laptop that my loving children messed up. They also did the job faster and cheaper than what they even quoted.They were friendly and didnt rush me when I asked a lot of questions even if it didnt pertain to the laptop being fixed.

Answered all of my questions in a way that I could understand. They were very helpful and forthcoming with information about products on my computer that I didnt even purchase from them.

My experiences have been great. I was fearful of calling a computer service because I figured it would cost a lot of money and maybe Id still have to end up getting a new computer. But when my computer with all of my patients information failed, I frantically called my friends for a referral. Not only was it NOT expensive, she found that a simple $20 power supply was all that needed to be replaced so she SAVED me money because I didnt have to buy a new computer. And heres the awesome thing - she educated me on what I could expect from my computer in the future and didnt gouge me with excessive labor costs. Thanks Computer Room!!

I highly recommend this place. They did several things for me related to my work laptop, and I was very satisfied.

I recently built a computer using parts from MicroCenter in St. Louis. After having multiple issues with them i took my PC to The Computer Room. They are great and was able to diagnose the problem and get it fixed fast. I recommend these guys any day if you live in the St. Louis Metro area.

Went to get new hard drives in three computers, got the job done really fast, and relatively cheap, but had to go back soon after to have missing windows programs fixed. Good, but could have been better.

Highly recommend this place. My laptop screen suddenly stopped working, but these guys knew exactly what to look for and had it fixed in 10 minutes! Ill be returning to them for sure.

Amazing place with great geeks (not sales people)!

The first time I went to the computer room was to get my new cpu installed into my pc. There was many conflicts but the computer room crew solved all the conflicts and got me a new motherboard and power supply. They even installed a new gpu and ram. The installation fees were relatively cheap. A few months later I brought in my dads computer that had windows 8 on it, we got the computer room crew to downgrade it for us for pretty cheap. They did a great job and got it done fast.

Expert Service & Support, highly recommend!

Excellent service. Good stock of parts for the DIY/repair-your-parents computer person. Helped with a few quick tests for the problem at no charge when we couldnt fix the problem on the spot (bad motherboard still under warranty). They are Linux-friendly for bonus points. No Intel CPUs, they are an AMD shop, btw. Great local tech business, and an asset to Shiloh.

Took my laptop in for a power jack replacement on Tuesday and was told it will be ready before the weekend called on Friday to see if it was ready an was told it will be a week if not longer, because of other jobs that came before mine. That was very disappointing. I was lied to and customer services was lazy, did not care. No recommendation from me.

The Computer Room is a money hungry, over priced business that is unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. The owner slammed my daughters computer when I insisted that $40 dollars was a ridiculous price for something that was a minor 15 minute fix. I came home and fixed it myself. Would highly NOT recommend.
