Went in to check out the prices since the store is closing next month. Good deals and still a big assortment.

Its just slowly dying out. Really like no options, it feels as if you were at a thrift store that sold new items. This store is more for the older 50 and up folks. Clean of course, but just no options at all.

Nice JC store, but dont like their buy one and 50 percentage off a second of the same item. Not a good sales tool! If I go in to buy a belt, I dont want two.

Going out of business in a small town of 21,000.. Everything is 70 to 90% off. Even selling display cases and racks. The staff seem to be distance because of losing their jobs. Sad for them I am.

Love this store because its just the right size and I dont feel overwhelmed with too many choices. I got lots three pairs of pants, two shirts and a purse for around $110. I hope this store stays opened!

They have a pretty good selection. It was pretty crowded through the check out line but that is because they had a special sale going on. We had no idea but we were given a 30% off coupon. We bought most clearence items though...it worked for a t-shirt my hubby bought. The down side was we found a little keurig we had been looking for. It was marked $12.99 when in reality it was over $100.00.....yeah that was annoying. We didnt buy it, I just wish they kept right prices on items.

Less selections than a typical JC Penney store find in a mall.

I went to get my instore pick up. They were able to find one of the 2. The manager was extremely apologetic. It wasnt her fault. She was wonderful about the orders.

Penneys is the only department store in Bellefontaine. The clerks always are helpful. I. Would love to see the store expand and add more merchandise.

They had what we needed. Prices good. Staff that was there were nice, but need at least one more person to man the floor. Merchandise was way too crowded, and store needs new paint and floors. They were just plain dirty.

Its a gem thats been in town for many years and I hope they never go out of business because I love it! I have had a hard time finding what Im looking for sometimes but staff always help. The almost always have sales going on!

Winter Coats are marked on clearance. Just got a nice 250.00 puffer coat for 49.99. Yea!!!

What a great staff of people at this JC Penny.. I was exhausted looking for a suite for my fathers funeral.Morgan didnt know me.. But she helped me find everything I needed at a price I could afford.This is customer service at its best!Thank you Morgan, an JC Penny for helping me when I was to tired to even think straight.Im so grateful for her kind words, an her guidance when I was completely lost, an didnt know where to start.She was very busy, an still found time to fit me into a great suite:)

For the most part they have what I need. A few times a year they have great sales on mens wear. I normally stock up on my summer clothes then later in the year I get my work clothes.

This is a small store but they have a pretty nice selection of womens, mens and childrens clothing. They have a small selection of home goods too. Its usually clean and tidy and have people available to help you.

The check out girl, Morgan was excellent! She is a valuable employee! Excellent people skills!

Its hard to believe that Penneys is still alive, but Im glad that it is! I buy most of my clothes there, and, I can ty them on before buying! The quality is always good, Ive never returned anything that Ive bought! I dont understand shopping online and not buying from stores, and not shopping in malls!

I found a suitable suitcase for what I needed. It happened to be on sale. We ended up buying 2 additional pieces saving over $250.

Perfect and clean everything

This is one of the few stores in Bellefontaine to buy clothes. The store always looks messy and dirty, not at all like it used to. Almost like a thrift store. The employees are friendly but they are dressed in casual clothes that look sloppy. The selection is limited.

Friendly Customer Relations and checkout experience. Their adult clothing selection is not all that varied, but I think their selection of mens shorts/swimwear & pants are of good quality.

Excellent customer service from a young man named Logan. Extremely gracious and very helpful.

In style quality clothes for fair prices. Small store, so the selection is limited. But cheaper then driving to big city.

Pricey and crowded. However, it is the only place in Bellefontaine that has some of the better quality clothes. Ordering online with store pickup expands the inventory significantly. Very convenient.

Theres always a line for the registers, not a huge line, it just takes forever to check out for some reason. The clothes are at a great discount because nobody ever wants to shop here.

The have great pricing and a nice selection of clothing, no one ever asked if I needed any help. The sales clerk had no product knowledge.

The store is filthy. The floor is stained and dirty, and needed to be swept. Why a family clothing store is without buggies is beyond me. I had to hold all of the clothes I wanted while holding my baby. Its was not worth it. I wont be back.

The last five times I have been in that store I have left empty handed, they dont have alot to choose from, I dont know why I continue to go back.. it caters to tiny people or big people no in between, I went today looking for sundresses and shorts, just typical dress shorts for golf, either your butt hangs out or they go between knees and feet more like a Capri. The sundresses were horrible looking, that was the last time and my friends agree with me.. Ill find something to fit and better fitted at Walmart..

Do they allow smoking inside this store? I walked in and the smell of cigarette smoke just blew me away! I could not stand the smell. Walked in and walked right back out!
