Very good grocery selections and reasonable prices. We really enjoyed the selection at their seafood counter. The people there were very helpful.

Half of the shelves are bare. Doesnt matter how pretty the store is after a really nice, recent remodel if the shelves arent stocked. This is the second time Ive had this experience at this particular location. As with several other businesses, I try to leave room for short staffing and product delay from the manufacturers. However, I left this store and went to a neighboring town with just a small, local grocery store and their shelves were fully stocked and I was a le to get everything I couldnt get at Hannaford. I think I may be switching grocery stores.

Larger Hannaford with a very wide selection. Down side is the constant change to the layout. Very good selections for vegetarian/vegan/gluten free/food sensitivity, but!, never in the most obvious areas. Never had an issue with the workers.

The Hannaford Supermarket in Belfast Maine had the reputation of being a very superior supermarket, untill the recent, reorganization. The self checkout is better. Everything else is worse. Wine selection--worse. Cider--worse. Frozen fish--worse. Fresh produce--worse. A general downgrading. Really tough for a local who likes to cook!.

Hannaford seems to have dropped its coved protocols which were really helpful for moving the lines along. Now its just a big Tangled mess with only a few registers open even during peak hours. I dont know what happened to you Hannaford

The pizza in the pizza bar looked like it had been there all day! Wheres quality control? Oh, they dont need anyone because there is no competition! They have wraps in a section titled wrapsleading me to believe they didnt carry my brand, but as it turns out they were with the bread. Very confusing in there. We usually go to the China Hannafords.

Very disappointed in Hannaford. I used to shop there when we lived in upstate NY so was looking forward to shopping there again. Twice I have bought fruit and bread that went bad in 2 days. The container of cantaloupe was bad when I opened and English muffins were moldy in 3 days. Not impressed. Go to Shaws when we can.

I used the self check today at Hannaford in Belfast and I got myself all mixed up with the coupons and stuff so I had this little girl named Toni and she was amazing she helped me out a whole lot and I really really appreciate it her so these people better be hanging on to this young girl thank you Toni for being so kind to me

They have ruined the store with all the changes. Im not sure why they have decided to manipulate the store again... It was fine before, just as you get used to it they totally move around everything and throw you way off!!! Theres no direction and nothing makes sense. I dont see the need for the change either but Im not a hannaford executive so what do I know right?

If I got to choose a franchise to do my food shopping at Hannaford always feels like the one that has it together best. Always good options for my budget. Got a bit extra? I can get local. Bit low in the cash department lots of cheap name brands to choose. Its this flexibility and their support of local that I like in hannaford.

Im very surprised about the way they have redone the inside of the store, it seems more spacious.

Store was already the most irritating commercial space Ive ever attempted to navigate. With the added disruption of renovations in progress, I wont return until I know the place is restored to some semblance of what I guardedly refer to as order.

Horrible store! You sure could take a lesson or two from Hannaford in South China or Hampden. Produce is awful, like the leftovers nobody wanted. I’m going to start saving my receipts and returning items that don’t even last four days. Mildewed squash, cucumbers that are too mushy to pick up and watch the expiration dates BEFORE you put the items in your cart, especially the packaged meats, like sausages and hot dogs and bread products! There aren’t a lot of options in Belfast and I only shop here when my schedule forces me to, but I’m getting better at avoiding this place. And let’s not forget the staff and front end supervisor too busy gossiping to bag groceries. Can I get a discount for bagging my own?

You know it would be the cats pajamas? If they would stop putting the labels over the zip lock portion of the lunch meat bags so you dont have to tear the bag until its no longer resealable. Otherwise Hannaford is a really great store that has a wonderful selection and caters to folks with food allergies. They also are really great with organic food selections

I had a hair in my Italian sandwhich. When I called to see about getting a refund the woman on the service desk was rude. Well, Im sorry but during a pandemic I dont want to eat a strangers hair. When I returned the sandwhich I expected double my money back because it was a hannaford product, but I was told we dont do that anymore. I think she just lied.

They stink..literally. The managers wont help..they walk around and chat amongst themselves while the cashiers are left to fend off customers getting randomly shuffled through the ill thought aisles. The items constantly readjusting doesnt help. But its mostly bad placement and rude management

I love this particular location! They have a great selection and friendly staff! My only complaint (as with every other Hannaford) is that the dairy aisle is in the back corner and is narrow so its always packed and tough to navigate! But seems like thats every Hannaford...Keep up the good work guys!

Bought a half gallon of Hood Reduced Fat 2% milk Friday Nov. 27,2020 with a expiration or use by date Dec. 9th 2020, here it isDec.2rd 2020 and the milk has gone bad thick and curdely. Supposedly this had another week before the use by date.Tried calling the store but nothing but a busy signal.

Pleasant shopping, always stocked well, nice big clean isles, fantastic fresh sea food, great fresh cut meats, friendly workers very cheerful and seam eager to help you. AND, very clean bathrooms.

Its a mess, they are remodeling. Hannaford is ALWAYS out of stock of most EVERYTHING I go to buy. Not sure if this is still due to the pandemic or if its just poor ordering of items!! So frustrating!!

Actually I would give it 4.5 stars. I am hopeful when they do their remodel they include more restrooms!!! A couple of family single stall would be really helpful for dads & daughters or moms & sons.

Staff appropriate, Covid-19 rules are apparently being followed. Reasonable limits in place for goods that are for whatever reason hard to keep in stock.But why is this one of the very few Hannaford stores without a curb pickup? Even the old farmers market has a goodly number of vendors who have pickup: surely its possible here since so many Hford stores have it, and it would be a lot safer for old folks and those with handicaps.

We came in today I understand that this virus has us all wanting to make things better. But waiting to check out I watched as an associate pretty much yell at an elderly lady telling her where to go. It was completely obvious to all of us watching she didnt understand. all the associate had to do was help her to a register. I felt sorry for what I watched. I wanted to jump the rope and help this poor elderly women.

Hannaford Supermarket is an excellent place to shop for groceries, fresh baked items, household needs, etc. Fair prices, and they respect and follow social distancing and other current safety guidelines.

The BEST store EVER!! My only disappointment in Hannafords is I dont have one in Nevada. The store is clean, has everything you could possibly want including, FABULOUS personnel. Theyre friendly and helpful. Always a pleasure to shop in ANY of the Hannaford stores. 😁

Hannaford Market in Belfast has a great selection of food items, a very nice olive bar, good quality cold cuts and fresh fish. Their prices are always reasonable given todays good costs. What I appreciate most, is that sale items are truly good foods like cheeses, cold cuts, meats, fish, vegetables and fruits, not just convenience or junk foods. For example, I found smoked Gouda on sale, a cheese most stores rarely discount or will often overcharge for. Theres a nice selection of produce and dairy products, prepared deli salads, and a good salad bar. Its a great place to grocery shop, and a worthwhile stop if you are camping locally and want to minimize your food prep while expanding your meal options.

You can find almost all your needs here. ALMOST all, but thats a lot better than driving an hour plus to somewhere else.

Always well stocked, very friendly staff that are always willing to help whenever needed.

Very nice, clean grocery store. We were worried about being able to get the things we needed for a receipe while being on vacation. They have a wonderful selection of goods. Very friendly helpful staff!!

This is a big well stocked store! It has just about anything you need. The store is clean and aisles free of any boxes . I enjoyed the helpfulness of the staff. This is a neat store I found in Searsport,Maine.😊
