Had a technician come over and when asked to disconnect the oil tank he said no and we need it connected because its getting cold but since he didnt do it we now have to wait till November or pay another company to do it. As well as earlier this year when we had barely any ice on are drive way and the delivery truck wouldnt come down and forced us to get dirt when we didnt have to.

We have been with Tidewater Oil since they first came to Belfast. They have always had competitive prices and great service. With extra time at home now we decided to have a few extra zones put in (along with a few other services) and the crew -of- two represented Tidewater Oil amazingly! They were hardworking, polite, respectful young gentlemen who we would request again when we need additional services! Great job! Thank you!

Replaced my furnace in February. Made a complete mess of my roof. Matt the owner said he would take care of repairs . Still not repaired. Do not recommend them at all as he will tell you what you want to here but will not follow through.

Employees are dedicated and look out for their customers. They are honest, hard working and if they make a mistake, they own it and fix it. You can also earn credit for referring a new customer!

They did what they promised, when they promised, on time and on budget. Their service and fuel delivery is dependable, office folks are polite and knowledgeable. After my spouse and I were nearly nickel and dimed to death by our decade long propane provider, we made the switch to Tidewater Oil. That was one year ago. Our account includes fuel for our home and for our greenhouse business. We have found that Tidewater offers very fair pricing on their fuel and is always willing to go the extra mile in regards to our temperature sensitive business. When we had our new tanks set, I was delighted to see a wonderful, neutral grey tank that disappeared into the landscape in lieu of the hideous white tanks that I have come to loathe. The workers and drivers are professional, respectful and courteous. We just signed a contract for a second year as my expectations of Tidewater Oil have been exceeded. We have used Tidewater for years and have never had anything less than excellent service. When we recently moved from Prospect to Winterport, we brought our heating oil service from Tidewater with us and added propane service. Every appointment for service is on time and on budget. Give them a call, you will not be disappointed!

Terrible customer service. The owner Michelle is rude. Their prices are .30 more per gallon then other local oil companies. Same day delivery fee is 100.00 even if they are already delivering in your town.This company takes advantage of people who are already struggling during the harsh Maine winters.My recommendation is to give your business to another local company that actually cares about their customers.

Made an appointment to have my furnace cleaned and tuned up back in Sept. Was told they were backed up till Nov. So made the .appointment for Nov. 9th .well no service tech and no phone call to explain . Stayed home all day for no reason .There is no excuse thats right
