Lovely little shop BRIMMING with creativity! Its deceptively small on the outside, and just continues on and on once you enter. L O T S of fun, funky, and unique high-quality fabrics and sewing notions, and a great place to grab a few things for felting, drawing, painting, printing, jewelry making, and crafting. The big draw for me [in addition to fab fabrics]? The origami and screen printed paper selection is AMAZING! Always worth the trip! ♥

Lots of cute animal fabrics as well as a good selection of other, more versatile prints. Quite a lot of Kaffe Fasset and Rifle Paper, but very few batiks. They also have *non* quilting fabrics.

Cute little art/fabric supply store, its the closest one to me, but they had a great selection of items and quite a wide variety of fabric. The employees were very kind and helpful when I needed help finding things.

The staff have always gone above and beyond to be helpful, the available fabric is beautiful, and theres a wide range of art and craft supplies. Abby took the time to do fabric walk-bys and send pics, and the porch pick-up option helped greatly with my sewing projects. One of my favorite stores!

Fiddlehead has a really interesting variety of high quality fabrics and assorted art supplies. The staff are very personable and helpful.You wont find this kind of curated selection and great service at a box store! You can even shop thier selection on the website. This is especially helpful because they have so many choices available.

Amazing collection of printed fabrics. A go-to store. I love walking in there. They even have William Morris prints. Any visit I make to Belfast includes a stop at Fiddlehead.
Beautiful fabrics, all natural, pricy
I was referred to this shop by the woman at the pottery on the road out of town. I asked where one gets the special fabrics the balsam pillows are made from and she recommended Fiddlehead artisan supply. I was walking on two canes so the skinny aisles and bumpy floor can be difficult. The staff was very friendly and brought me a chair for waiting outside for a turn as they were limited the number of customers for covid safety. I found some awesome nautical fabric. Most fabric i checked was 11. Something per yd but obviously quality and lovely fabrics.

Carrying fabrics for seamspeople of all types, this shop is particularly for those craftspeople with deep pockets. Definitely worth a look and a buy if you have the chance.
Great local fabric store, wish the process were more wallet friendly but the material is definitely worth the price. The employees are friendly and know what they are selling so its always easy to find the right stuff for your task at hand

I stopped in on Sunday and am already looking forward to my next quilting project just so I can shop here again, Im just sorry I forgot to pick up my copy of their Row by Row pattern. The store is full of modern colorful designers and the prices cant be beat, in my opinion. Alison Glass, Kaffe Fassett, Art Gallery Fabrics just to name a few. The ladies I dealt with were both happy and friendly, a pleasure to deal with.And Belfast is really the perfect small town shopping experience for Fiddlehead to be located - toy store, ice cream/candy shop, restaurants, walkable waterfront, vegan friendly co-op. I wish I lived a little closer but will happily drive the hour it takes me to get there.

If you are a crafter this place is a MUST! The only downfall is that all the fabric is so gorgeous that it is hard to choose just a few for projects (which of course isnt a downfall at all)!!
