A year and 26,000 miles ago, the mechanic Joe looked at my tires, said they looked worn, and recommended replacing all of them, and I went ahead with it. Today, when I came in to have a blow out fixed, he said they were all worn and it would be a good idea to replace them before winter. When I pointed out we had replaced them last year and that if they were that worn down, there was a problem, he said we could just replace the front two, to keep the treads balanced. I said okay, but I wanted to know why the back tires were so worn when they were only at the half life of their warranty. He said they werent that bad.Anyway, point here is Im not sure what the heck was going on. Joe is probably my neighbor--Quabbin Auto is five minutes from me. The car has run fine the two years hes worked on it. But, it sure seemed like he was trying to get me to replace tires that didnt need replacing, and when I started asking questions, he backpedalled. Im female and not super knowledgeable about cars, so Im sure I look like a great mark.Possibly I misinterpreted what he said about the tires, but I was paying close attention, and I wouldnt be comfortable going back to this shop. Looks like everyone else has had a way better experience, so really hope this is just an isolated incident and a misunderstanding on my part.

I dropped off my work truck at 9:00AM for brakes Joe said he was not busy and would get right on it when I called back at 3:00 PM he said he took it for a ride but hasnt looked at it yet.He knew it was my work truck and I needed it.I waited the whole day for nothing and when I complained he told me he said today or tomorrow to fix.Maybe ok for oil and inspection but does not complete work in a timely fashion

Got my snow tires put on just in time. On another occasion needed my battery tested, they checked it right away and replaced it for me.very pleasant garage, and very good service.

Todays bill: $11.77. Replaced a left turn light and filled the break fluid (and of course figured out that my complaints were due to those two things).Theyre great. Theyre a bit busy - so you need to schedule ahead of time. But theyre thorough, friendly, and honest. What more can you ask for?

Dropped car off Monday by 330 to be looked at on Tuesday. A diagnostic. They said they were wide open that day. Never heard from them. Poor business practice. Its Wednesday now, tried calling at 11.15 am. Rang for 3 minutes no answer? Guess this is a repair shop I want to do business with.

Dropped off a tire for repair, they had the tire for two weeks, anytime I reached out, they were just busy and would get to it. Finally just took the tire back and will have it fixed somewhere else.
