I chose Pella first since we recently had Pella sliding doors put in and we have been very satisfied with the product and customer service. It has been over a year that we started our window replacement. We are still waiting for everything to be delivered and finalized. Twice the windows were incorrectly measured and ordered, but finally after 7 months the installation began. The customer service is non-existent. Luckily we had reputable, contracted installers who recognized the measuring and manufacturing errors and, rather than “making it work”, stopped the installation and had them remade. I will never use this company nor suggest anyone else use them.

We were on Pellas website but had some specific questions regarding the look, fit, and capability of the windows. After requesting making an appointment for a rep to talk with us, I received a call asking if we would like him to come out to our home. Back in May the ball was dropped, accidentally, causing no notification to me that there was going to be a 2 month delay for the installation. I went to the showroom in hopes of verifying the new delivery date. I explained the issue to Stefani Gauthier and Kristin Descheneaux and they started to dig into finding the answers. Kristin drilled down thru the email trails and found the exact cause of the communication breakdown and RESOLVED the error. It was very refreshing to talk to these professional people and returning confidence in Pella. Looking forward to the install.

We contacted Pella to get a quote to replace the main entry door of our house. They sent a representative, Norman Porier, to us for an in-home consultation. We had been finding that the options for replacing a front door are vast and difficult to sort through with online tools or even at the local home improvement stores. Norman was great; very helpful in listening to our wishes/style preferences and figuring out what would work with our specific entry situation. It does seem like he was able to put together the right kind of door that my wife is wanting, though its hard to know for sure because even the tools available to him dont result in an actual picture of what our exact configuration will look like. Even still, we felt more confident in his ability to configure the correct door as opposed to others we had spoken with in the chain stores. He knew his product line very well. It was also nice that its a complete solution, including installation. Easier than having to pic out a door and then separately find someone to install it. The only bummer for us was the cost; the final price was significantly more than all of the other options we are considering with local home improvement stores and private contractors who use their own building material suppliers.

We had a great experience with Norm Poirier for our window and door estimate. Norm provided a thorough overview of the product and company, walked us through our options, and answered all of our questions on the process. The detailed estimate was provided very quickly. While we ended up going with another option, I would highly recommend considering Pella for your projects.

I was very satisfied with the quality of the windows and the superior installation. Communication from the seller was, on a scale of 1 to 10 about a 3. No follow-up or pre-installation date conformation. Cancellation of the installation on the day it was supposed to begin. Phone calls that we not returned. Emails that were not answered. No follow-up from the original salesman. Lots of issues for a product that cost almost $17,000.

I did not end up replacing my windows, but had excellent service from Sales Consultant Norman Poirier. He was very professional in every aspect, on time, courteous. They have a great product. Please ask for Normand to do your window survey.

I regret the decision to give this organization my business. Norm did a great job selling their products and services, and they have failed to deliver on any of it. They ordered the wrong size doors, wrong colored handles, upsold J-channel brick moulding that is meant for new construction, not old work. They are unresponsive, and unprofessional.I am at the end of my patience with this company. They have been by far the worst experience with a contractor I have ever had. Go literally anywhere else with your door or window project. They managed to make what seemed like a hassle free project into one of the largest headaches.An anecdote of their indifference; when some of the issues with the order were pointed out the installer was told to just make it work. Professionals do it right. If you want Mickey Moused quality at professional prices, go with Pella New England.Update 4/22/21:Nothing has improved after communicating with the supposed owner. Our questions go unanswered. Horrendous customer service.

Had the opportunity to meet with sales rep Norman Poirier. Personable, friendly and he does not unnecessarily upsell the product. Surprisingly, the order came in early and Pella was able to install 3 weeks earlier than the 6-7 weeks scheduled. There were a couple of hiccups along the way that Norman resolved quickly and with great satisfaction. The installers were master craftsman and the finished woodwork stands out above the windows themselves. Early signs of the window quality are positive and I am confident that Pella will address any concerns should they arise.

I had an estimate appointment with Norm Poirier for windows. Norm arrived on time and immediately displayed an easy-going friendly professional appeal. He was extremely knowledgeable about Pellas products, manufacturing techniques, and history. He answered all of my inquiries and tried to investigate information to obscure ones I had, including references to competitors. I spent about three hours with Norm, so I feel that he helped me to be an informed consumer going forward.

As someone else has mentioned in their review, Pella is unresponsive and unprofessional once they receive your deposit. Our installation was cancelled (no-show) without as much as a call or email, TWICE. It takes two days to reach a live person on the phone, voicemails are not returned, emails are not returned. We have rescheduled three times, Im yet to see the product, five months after the signing of contract. Do not have comments on the quality of product itself yet but nothing will make me recommend or use this company again.

An old window leaked during the hurricane. Another, right above it, wont close properly. Pellas Norman Poirier came by, exactly on time, and stayed for a good long while to identify areas of likely damage and communicate with his headquarters. We recently upgraded several windows in the second level of my house. We immediately noticed a big improvement in the temperature of the house. The upstairs area remains cool and Ive been able raise the thermostat because this area remains cool. I reached out to Bedford, NH showroom because my husband and I bought a house over the summer and discovered the existing slider had rotting wood - extremely decayed - seal broken too. They had a Pella office in MA reach out to me and send a technician to come assess the damage. I was told that this slider should be covered under our 20 year warranty and that he was going to submit this right away before the warranty is up. This was 2 months ago?? They took our $75 and I have not heard anything since. Are they waiting until the 20 years is up so they do not have to cover it? I just do not understand. No phone call. No follow-up - nothing. Now, this response has nothing to do specifically with Bedford, NH showroom, but it has EVERYTHING to do with who they are working with in MA for warranty service.

Worst service around. Was willing and ready to buy a patio door today but, the Staff couldn’t be bothered to take my money.

At the request of the salesman Shaun, we made an hour and a half ride to Bedford so he could go over options and get us quotes and sizing we desperately needed in order to keep a project running on time. Shaun not only did not show up for the appointment but failed to call us and tell us. His lie was that he had no service where he was but he miraculously was able to call his office to tell them he couldn’t make it. The poor sweet girl behind the desk tried her best but it was a lost cause. When the manager Nick(?) arrived he took our info and told me we would have a quote and rough in numbers that night. Well, that didn’t happen. I waited until 10:30 the next day to call and ask again. An hour later I had a quote for sort of what I wanted. The door they quoted me couldn’t have been further from what we told them we wanted. Those quotes did not come with any kind of apology or sense of remorse for wasting 3 hours for our round trip ride or lost hours my husband took in order to be there. I think unless you are a big contractor with a large order you do not matter. Do not waste your time like we did. Go directly to Marvin. They got me exactly what I wanted and delivered on their promises.

Recently I had an issue with getting a wrong size replacement screen. I was originally told that I could not return it. She placed the order and it came in about 3 weeks later. I picked it up and brought it home and it fit perfectly. Jamie was very courteous and professional. Updated on 7/31/19:I recently purchased 3 front doors from the Concord office, which resulted in my order being handled by the Pella office in Haverhill, MA. The ordering process was straightforward and easy. Unfortunately, my experience working with Pella went downhill following the initial installation. The installation technicians were wonderful.Initially, the wrong color door and sidelights were installed at my house. This is despite having 2 separate quality control representatives confirm our order prior to the technicians arriving. After multiple calls to the Haverhill office asking to speak with the manager and then waiting a few weeks for the proper door to be manufactured again, a new door and sidelights were finally installed. This time, however, one of the sidelights that was installed with the new door had damage to it. Again, it took multiple calls to the office to even receive a call back. The manager agreed to order a new sidelight and offer me some money back (this was a nice gesture and much appreciated). However, after waiting a few more weeks, a new sidelight arrived but this one was ALSO damaged. I immediately placed a call into the manager and it took multiple calls both to the local office and the corporate office to receive a call back - this time from an assistance manager. It has now been two weeks since and I have still yet to receive any confirmation on when the new sidelight will be installed. This is after periodic calls and texts with the assistant manager. His response each time is that hell have more information soon. I am at the point of wanting to return my entire purchase. I would strongly urge future customers to consider their choice as not only has the customer service been terrible after taking the order but it appears that there is limited quality control at the warehouse and local office.The only positive is that the installation technicians have been very nice and professional. I wish I could work only with them. The only reason it is not a 1-star rating is because the technicians have been great.Definitely get quotes from competitors.Updated: Since posting a review, Pellas Corporate Office has assisted with getting the product ordered installed. I am pleased to report that the product has been scheduled for installation.

M y Name is Norman Levasseur, I had Norman Poirier quote me new windows at my house in Lowell, MA last fall, he did an awesome job explaining to my wife about the Pella products, we reached out to hi, tonight to see if he could quote more windows to replace but found out he knows works in the NH area, we are still going to have a salesperson come to quote out additional windows to be replaced .
