Wo place. Neatly tucked in Bedford shopping center. The food is fresh and the coffee is delicious. The menu has something for everyone. There is various choices in omelettes. I chose the California omelette. It is a charming place. The staff here has pleasant people to serve wonderful food.

Best pancakes Ive ever had! Migas was great, over medium eggs cooked perfect, kids meals were larger portions than I imagined. But the pancakes were good enough to briefly consider moving from Florida to Texas. Service was attentive and on point.

Ive dined in once before and it was pretty tasty. I ordered pick up today while my mom and sister are in town visiting: 2 bacon waffles, cinnamon French toast and 2 iced coffees. I got a call about 10 minutes after I ordered saying it was ready. I arrived, paid the full bill and received two plain waffles. I stated that we were missing quite a few items and those were the incorrect waffles. We waited, I was upcharged for the bacon, and our food was ready.Bacon bits were dumped on top of the waffles, the iced coffees had no ice, and there was no butter or syrup for the French toast. We are pretty disappointed.

Good little local restaurant for breakfast and lunch. One of the better breakfast places in the area. Friendly staff, family run. Food is good and they give you a good amount for the money!

Me and my husband went there for the first time, and we are impressed! From the ambiance, to the soft music, the decor, the professionalism, and the food! Another thing we appreciated is that you have everything stocked and ready for you at the table: salt/pepper, creamer, hot sauce, sugar/sweetener, jams… everything you need is right there!The food was to die for, it tasted fresh, freshly made, and you can tell that they truly care about customer satisfaction. They all checked on us multiple times, my husband always had a full cup of coffee (without having to ask) and they were very patient with me and my pregnancy cravings. Jenny was wonderful as was her whole staff. They talk to each other with respect and kindness, they help each other, and they make sure that you as a customer have everything you need.We will definitely be back, we loved everything and everyone in this establishment! We just landed in Dallas and were starving. My husband and I love quaint little brunch places. So glad we chose this one. I got a meat lover’s omelet and it was delicious.

The staff is nice but we waited more than an hour after ordering before we got our food. The waiter checked in once and let us know they were busy making to go orders and hadnt gotten to ours yet. WHAT?! Even after we got our food, it was mediocre. The chicken was stringy and dry and no amount of sauce could make it less bland. The blueberry pancakes were also extensively dry and flavorless. The blueberries werent mixed in, only thrown on top. The sandwiches and potatoes were flavorless. The sweet potato fries were good! Thats about it, and definitely not with the wait

I added on the side of potatoes (hash browns for me).Sausage is either Patty or links, I prefer patties.Hash browns were nice and crispy. Plenty of condiments etc. at each table.Taking some pancakes home, and as a nice touch, they have little cups with butter and syrup for you to take with you.Wife enjoyed the omelette. This was her second visit. She wanted me to try it. Glad she did!

My son and I ate there yesterday, Wednesday September 8th at about 8 in the morning. And we had a very bad experience with the waitress. I found her to be very rude and unprofessional. We ordered the waffle combo, which the menu said came with three pieces of meat. When we got our order there were only two pieces of meat, so I asked about the other piece. She said this particular combo only comes with two pieces and I asked her to check the menu. When she did she discovered her mistake but instead of being polite about it she rudely walked off in a huff and brought my piece of meat a few minutes later. And from that point on she was very rude. The food was good however. If we decide to go there again and shes working Ill just turn around and leave.

It’s basically run by children.Well, not basically. It is run by children. All of the “wait” staff are underage teens that can’t keep track of orders, tables, and lose all sense of direction when it gets a little busy.Working young is fine, but there needs to be some sort of adult figure there to keep some kind of organization and there is none of that.

This is not my first time ordering from here but it will surely be my last. The meal was tasteless and just overall trash. I ordered grits and they are gray. I dont no how you can mess up a cup of grits and they turn out gray but these did. My french toast was not french toast but more like buttered toast. Yall need to get a new cook back there because this was not it!. I also ordered chicken tenders and they were not tenders just a bunch of crunchy crust. I mean literally not one piece of chicken. How is a toddler suppose to eat crunchy crust?

I had brunch here and wasnt a big fan. My scrambled eggs were overcooked, the corned beef hash was mostly potato and barely had any corned beef, and the eggs benedict had WAY too much hollandaise sauce and ended up making the entire dish soggy. And worst of all, the grits were lumpy and not even hot.

A delivery pickup - though slow, the elder crowd seemed happy. It seemed almost that the only waitress that was hustling about could be the reason for delays. Still in all a good experience overall.

I had the worst service food ever from this place. I ordered 60 plus dollars worth of food for breakfast which was not worth it. The chicken fried chicken was under cooked and the grits were cold and lumpy. I didnt want gravy and they piled gravy on my chicken. At least the waffle and French toast were good. I called them back to let them make it right and I was offered 10% off my next meal. Yes it was the insult for me. I will never show love to this restaurant again.

I’ll never order take out from here again. The phone constantly gave a busy signal when trying to place my order so I ordered online only to finally pick up my food in a empty restaurant. So why was the phone giving a busy signal again?? Then my strawberry waffle looked nothing like the picture. It was just a sponge with strawberry slices threw on top, and to make it worse they put no condiments in the bag at all.

Great service, employees are friendly, and good food. Cant ask for anything better than that. Plenty of breakfast choices to choose from. If youre looking for a hearty meal, the Skillets are fantastic.

Came here with my boyfriend, had never been here before,for about the same price you would pay to get McDonalds you can eat here. The food is fresh. The service is extremely friendly. There is light jazz playing. It is a nice vibe. Very easygoing and no frills. Yet still classy. Definitely will be back.Did I mention the food was delicious?

We like this diner, just found it now that our kids go to school in the area. We are big fans of diners and this is a new favorite. We have only been for breakfast, but are looking forward to lunch. Plenty of food and at a great price, cheaper than other diners we have visited. Service is great as well. Visit them soon.

Soo... Me and my boyfriend go to a different place every week for breakfast.. This was by far the worst experience so far after trying over 20 places around the metroplex.. First, the place is very dirty, food and sticky stuff all over the walls.. We were sat quickly, and then it took 20 minutes for someone to greet us and take our order.. Then it took another 10 to get our drinks and another 30 to get our food. They apologized several times stating how busy they were but the place was pretty empty.. When our food arrived, my French toast was burned, my eggs were over cooked, and my boyfriends food was Stone cold.. We didnt eat it and immediately informed the server of the situation.. We declined having our food remade and just wanted to leave.. He said ok them we went to walk out and we were followed outside where they demanded payment for inedible food... What a shame.

I stumbled on this place when I was looking for somewhere for us to eat breakfast. Their reviews were just as good if not better than I-hop. What a wonderful surprise this place turned out to be. The food was Fantastic!! Nice portions and good prices. Our server Ismael was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back the next time that were in the area.

I loved this place. I actually decided to check it out because I wanted breakfast food but was tired of IHOP. Great service, our waitress was attentive but not overbearing. Food was very good I ordered the big breakfast with pancakes and a coffee. Coffee was a little bland, but everything else was very good that this is not a deal breaker. I will definitely be coming back here for breakfast food!

Average to below average. Waiter was nice. We ordered and waited about 35+ min for food even though it wasn’t busy & then the crepes and eggs came out cold. They were not using A/C even though it was 85 deg outside, and our whole group was sweating. Definitely don’t plan on returning / disappointed we used our DFW brunch with friends from out of town on this spot.

Interesting food selections. You get a lot of food for your buck. However, the buck spent is a bit much for the style of place. IHOP, and the similar places, are much more affordable. The food is okay, not really memorable. Just standard good breakfast.

Usually when I come here the food is great! But it lost a star because when I received my food it was cold (eggs, grits, pancakes), we waited for a long time so Im going to assume my food was just sitting on the counter. Also our server was all over the place. Everytime we asked for something she never would bring it, we had to ask other servers/managers to get stuff for us (straws, sugars, hot food, coffee).

Usually understaffed so wait times are long, some of the menu items can be hit or miss in quality but overall a pretty good place.

Went because I wanted to find a good Chicken fried steak. Food was good from the part I ate. 3 reasons will not go back. 1. No waiter or drink refill the entire time there, waiter never came back after serving food. 2. Hair found in my food could not tell anyone because no waiter. 3. Got tired of waiting went to front to get check (no waiter) told cashier about issues she asked me if I wanted a copy of my receipt.

It was good. The menu options are many. All day breakfast and lunch option is good. The breakfast skillet was okay, albeit pricey.

I ordered a bacon avacado burger and it was okay for a well done burger. It was about $9 before tip or drink. May or may not return.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in this area! The service is wonderful and the food is delicious! If youre looking for a sweet, quiet and relaxing place to eat in comfort, this is it. Not to mention, those who have a sweet tooth but want savory, order the Crepes Combo. Itll feel like heaven. I love coming in to a home-like environment and enjoying a nice cup of coffee with my crepes. Definitely recommend!!

Been here before were food and service was good. Willing to make slight changes from menu. My wife and daughter went there for breakfast today. After waiting 40 minutes for food it arrived cold, and not what was ordered, then couldnt get waiters attention. Manager insulted my wife by blaming it all mon here for asking for a slight change from the menu item. Terrible service, cold food and insulting management. We will never return.

Yesterday was me and my boyfriends first time and we were very unsatisfied. If I hadnt asked when our water was going to take our order we wouldve beeb sitting there longer and we had already been ditting for at least 10 minutes. We received our food cold, my sausage was very hard and dry, then we told someone, they said they heated it up but it still wasnt hot at all and my boyfriends plate had a hair in his food. Waste of my money honestly I was not pleased at all and really just wanted ro walk out but I still paid for the food which I hardly touched.

Its was great tasting and plentiful! Server and host was very friendly and attentive. Very clean and fast service. Sanitizer on every table and at the door. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

Love independent cafes like Mid Cities Cafe. Not loud or noisy, clean and cheerful. Prompt friendly service, prompt delivery of meal which was the Mid Cities Special priced at $7.95! What a bargain and delicious. Anything with biscuits & gravy is comfort food to me. Eggs cooked perfectly with better than average sausage links and about the best crispy bacon that rivals the Pancake House. A great find, and I will definitely be back!
