Good products but they were sold out of a few things

It would have been nice to see your staff wearing a mask, or at least social distancing. Yes she said excuse me as she breathed into my elderly mothers space in order to bring other customers into her space as well. Maybe she could have politely waited until my mother was out of her way at a socially acceptable distance. And she wasn’t even wearing a mask. I was prepared to spend quite a bit of money in there, but after having to get my mother out of her way, and the way she responded, we just left. I notice from your other retorts to less than glowing reviews on here that you aren’t much on customer service, so I’m not really expecting any better now. I won’t be visiting your store again.

The selection is pretty good, just check the expiration dates. Most of the staff I have encountered are pleasant except for the older woman. I have not ever had a problem with how the store smells unless she is working. Ive been in several times when the gentlemen are working and havent ever had a problem. I have sinus/allergy issues and had to literally hold my nose and hurry out of the store. She seemed offended because I told her I could not handle the smell. Her response was You havent been in very many health stores then. When I told her she didnt have to be rude, by arguing with me because I didnt like the smell she tried to turn it around on me and I pride myself on being respectful to others, especially those that work with the public. She was a lot less than friendly. If its her job to assume she didnt do a good one. I have been stationed in several different cities so I have been in my share of health stores so perhaps she should keep her assumptions to herself and work on her attitude. Other than that, no problems but Ill order from Amazon rather than deal with the smell or her attitude.

Love this store!! I moved here from Ohio and wasn’t sure I could find an all natural health food store close to home. I was so glad I found HealthSmart! I was in desperate need of my Wellness supplement, which I buy in capsule form, and they had it. The staff were super friendly and helpful and I found everything I needed. Walking into the store was also a pleasant experience- I absolutely love the essential oils and soap aromas that fill the air like an old friend come to greet me. Thanks to all of the staff and owners who provide such a wonderful alternative to those of us in search of a natural way of life.

I appreciate having this great resource in Beckley. The owner is very welcoming and can custom order for you, which is a rare accommodation.I’m an acupuncture physician and naturopath, so I’m happy to have a local place to send my patients to pick up supplements. Just like with pharmaceuticals, it’s important to have a face to face interaction to make sure you’re getting the right herbal prescriptions and dosage rather than order online.I look forward to frequenting your establishment in the future, thank you 🙏

Been to this store twice in the last couple of weeks. The lady running the store was extremly polite and not pushing a sale. They have a lot of products so take your time and enjoy the store.

Hardly any selection. The employees are nice, but they wouldnt accept my return for their nasty ghee that they sell. This place is overpriced and a rip off. Youve been warned. Youre better off going to Ediths Specialty Store in Lewisberg.

I I am saying this without any malice or disrespect: I dont know if anyone has told you but you have a very snotty and rude tone, maybe thats why I missed that supposed offer you made to do curbside pick up. Maybe thats your normal demeanor so you didnt think you were being rude, however I did. I do not appreciate when people talk down to me. I didnt make a scene, I simply told you to stop being rude to me. So if you dont want to be called out you should probaly check that persnickity tone of voice a you have when talking to someone. As a store owner you should already know every person that walks through your door is someone with a different story so dont make assumptions about about people who are giving you THEIR money in YOUR store because you want to disagree with them about their opinion. Sorry maam but I didnt make it back stateside from Iraq to be talked to that way. I normally support local businesses even when I can find it online or at a box store for less, however after this incident, I think Ill save it by shopping elsewhere. God bless you in the new year.
