Awesome customer service! Dan was very helpful finding the part I needed, it was difficult to find and I didn’t even see it but he persevered until he found it for me. I really appreciate that as most people would’ve given up but he didn’t! Again, great customer service!

Very nice and well kept store. Extremely clean. Not very big for an Ace Hardware store but still has a huge selection. Was doing some work on my sisters condo and they had all of the tools and miscellaneous parts that I needed to complete everything I needed to do. Very polite and helpful staff. If I need anything else I will be stopping back by to get it.

I was looking for 2 colors of paint and having no luck calling multiple Ben Moore paint dealers who just gave me the Sorry, due to supply chain issues...no stock answer. I called Hyland Hills Ace and was connected with Sarah in the Paint Dept. and she was GREAT! She didnt have my specific colors in stock but told me she would check with her partner stores to see if they may have it. Within 30 minutes, she was able to source my colors at the St. Johns Ace and I had my paint that afternoon. Awesome customer service- thanks again Sarah!

I really like shopping here 4 my job. If these guys have the items I need, I would much rather shop here than the Beaverton Home DEPOT ... THAT location is hard 2 get in & out of so I drive to the end of Allen Blvd. & BAM done drop the mic

This was such a pleasant place to shop. The employees were kind, helpful and knowledgeable. It was such a stark contrast to other hardware giants where even finding someone to help you or answer questions is a difficult task. The store had everything I was looking for. My daughter had the same experience. I would highly recommend shopping here.

I just moved to this area from Vancouver, & this is my first time being in this particular Ace Hardware. Upon entering, I was greeted kindly, asked if I needed help, & then promptly was assisted with what I needed/was looking for. The nice gentleman even carried my giant bag of soil to the check stand, then to my vehicle for me.Customer service isn’t prevalent in this day and age, but Ace is sure doing it right. I am very, very happy with my experience in this store today. Someone give that nice gentleman a raise! Thank you!

I have only been here twice, but both times were great! The employees are very helpful.When I went for my second time, which was last weekend or so, I was even more pleased. I got to meet Penny, the doggie, and she and I became fast best friends. I had the employees help store my gigantic wagon cart filled with junk from Safeway in it while I played with Penny and had my key copy made. I think the owner is who was helping me; I should have asked his name but did not, and he was great.I was very impressed with the employees and Penny and the whole experience. I am wanting to become a handyman so I can have an excuse to see Penny and the great staff more often. :-) This place RULEZ!

We needed propane for our camp stove and went to three stores tring to find one. I called Ace and they had one left. The man held it for us till we could get there. Very helpful

Good service. When I go in, someone always asks what I am looking for, which is very helpful. Even though they seem small, they usually have what I need.

Shopping here is like a used car lot employees pounce on you the moment you walk in the door.Hover over you and won’t leave you alone so you can make a selection on what you’d like to purchase. I would recommend shopping at the Ace hardware on 185th on TV highway the employees there are polite helpful and will let you shop. I’m sure the management thinks they are giving great customer service maybe for some they are I will never shop here again

These guys are great. Maybe even a little TOO helpful. Theyre always asking if they can help me find anything the minute I walk through the door or down the main isle. Which is very nice of them. Just, sometimes I just want to find it on my own or already know where it is. Regardless, cant fault them for being Johnny-on-the-spot with their service. They have an amazing amount of stuff for a fairly small store. A little bit of everything. But theyre all about customer service. So cant complain at all. Good peeps.

I like the store but the employees act like your going to steal something when your trying to find something! I am not the only person who says this. I dont get it. I am not that type of person and never have been. My daughter had the same problem trying to find a new door handle. The way the lady asks if she can help you is VERY snide. I decided to go to Home Depot instead and was treated how a paying customer should be treated! Thank you for helping me find my new hardware store! Customer service is so important!!!!!!!

Great service!! We had a sink with a water leak. The staff was very helpful with my purchase and I got exactly what I needed, both times.

First time walking into the store and the kid at the cash register says a discription of me over his walkie talkie. Got asked twice if I need help with anything before I can even reach the end of the store, which is about a 8 second walk. I had time to kill and wanted to find what I needed by myself. Felt immediately judged and overwhelmed. I understand for most people that level of customer service is appreciated but that mixed with the discription of me made me immediately dislike this location.

Cashier rudely told me to get my ID from my car to make a purchase of chicken wire and supper glue. I asked multiple times why he needed my id and he continued to reply to other customers rather than helping me. Super unfriendly staff caused me to be in store 15 minutes longer than needed during this whole virus thing and didn’t even make me aware as to why I was being questioned.But the older guy who helped us get a tiny screw that we needed was amazing and super helpful.

I needed paint matched at this store because another store was unwilling to help me buy paint there. This store was wonderful. Nathaniel was great! He went through the color codes and matched it up. The staff if always helpful and friendly. I actually saw Mrs. Meyers Foaming Hand Soap in a scent Ive never seen before, and bought it onna whim for my toddler. I went back a few months later and they didnt carry it anymore. When the staff asked what I was looking for, they said to check back soon as they would not only order me some, but they would make sure to carry it on the shelf regularly since I enjoyed it so much!! Easy to find the store and easy to navigate inside, although you wont have to do it alone since the staff are always right there asking if they can help.

Great Service.Unfortunately I had to change my review to disappointed.The return policy is not good.I wanted to return some plumbing hardware( not even open, still in the original packaging) but they not allowed because it was pass the 3 month limit.I has been going to this store because they are locally owned, but unfortunately I just went to Home depot and got credit for all the stuff that I bought about the same time.

Tried charging $80 for a transponder key for a 2012 f350. The brand of key with transponder they carry cost $13 dollars online. The vehicle programs the key on my truck. It doesnt take $67 dollars to cut a key and hand it over. This is an True RIPOFF hopefully the other products they carry are not so over priced. But I wont go back. Also the gentleman thats was helping me was not knowledgeable of key making nor did he know what he was saying about transponder keys.

The man that was working there was able to help me out a lot. he was patient and got me just what i needed. great service.

This is an awesome litte gem of a store. It is tucked away in a neighorhood strip mall by the Safeway on Allen and Murray, but is easy to get into and out of. The staff here are freindly and like most ACE hardware stores, it is stocked full of all sorts of things you or your neighbors could possibly want for most any home DIY project or repair.

Great people, old school hardware store. Go big box for lumber, come here for everything else. Best ace on the west side.

This ace really is the place with the helpful hardware folks. From the cashier who made sure that everyone was greeted by a helpful associate immediately and received excellent service as they were leaving. To the associates who know where everything is in the store. Everyone is extremely helpful. That in itself was good but the fact thelat the store is clean and feels new makes it the place I prefer to go for home repair items.

I’ve always been an Ace customer, and loved it! At this location they overcharged my dad for an item. I spoke with Scott the manager after the blonde woman at the front passed my dad off two two other people and the end of the line to fix their error (over charging). When I spoke with Scott and told him the issues they caused, the woman that was currently helping customers yelled an isle over to me (in front of the customers she was currently ringing up) youre going to cause a problem in our store? Talk about white trash. Im sorry, but customers should ALWAYS be treated well, even if they are wrong which we werent. Completely disrespectful manager and employees. Basic customer service and none was had here. Highly disrespectful and wrong. We come here very often, especially right now due to us doing a big project on our house. This is not how we should be treated, nor anyone.Coming from a heavy customer service background, I cant imagine how these people could hold a job at a highly regarded store. In most places this would be terms for separation no questions asked. I do not recommend this location. Basic decency for both themselves and their customers would go a long way here.Grateful for the customer service and decency at all other locations!

I wish i could leave NEGATIVE stars, as this hardware store has TERRIBLE customer service!!!I try to support local businesses, even when they have HIGHER prices. Because they make up for the HIGHER prices with CUSTOMER SERVICE...Case in point. They charge $7.59 for a spray can of Rust-oleum paint, that Fred Meyer offers for $6.49 a can...On May 8th a called and spoke with chris and asked about the availability of Rust-oleum hammered finish spray paint in a light blue color. chris told me over the phone that she only had one can left on the shelf. I asked her to hold it for me and that I would be in, to pick it up with-in the hour. She said no problem and asked my name to put on the can of paint. Or so I was lead to believe...After making the 20 minute drive and waiting in line. I was told that chris only looked at the computer screen and didnt actually take the time to walk the 20 feet from the phone to the paint aisle to check inventory...I asked to speak to the manager, who only offered up a half hearted sorry...Needless to say, I WONT BE BACK!!!
