So to this preface this review, I take meticulous care of my vehicles. I also do complete frame off restorations of classic cars as well. I made an appointment to have the alignment done on 05 Tahoe. This vehicle has always had the maintenance done on it on time and correctly, either by me or a trusted mechanic and it has less than 90K miles. I take it to this service center and they call me back 2 hours later telling me that they cant complete the alignment because it needs the entire suspension rebuilt on the front end, including a steering box and pitman arm. I immediately know that this is completely incorrect due to having done an entire inspection of the front end 2000 miles ago while I was redoing the front brakes. Basically the con man Gabe told me I needed to spend 2000-2500 dollars before they could do the alignment. So they did nothing to my vehicle. When I go to pick it up he charged me for the alignment they didnt do and we got in a argument about why. He said they charge either way if you make an appointment whether or not they do the work. We both exchanged cuss words with each other. The real kicker is I took it to a competing dealership and they found absolutely nothing wrong with my front suspension and completed the alignment in a timely and professional manner. This place will try to scam you into having repairs done that you dont need
Keeping myself informed of the status of my vehicle was poor at best.I only received a call of what was wrong with my vehicle.I was never informed of when my vehicle would be finished even though I gave all my contact information.I had to personally call after waiting literally days for a call. This was a major inconvenience for me because it interfered with my work schedule.Communication with the customer should be the utmost important.
Purchased my vehicle 3 years ago, limited usage 20K miles. The Chev Traverse will not start this morning. Called the dealership for assistance and was informed that the warranty expired last week. Irving was less than helpful on the phone. Instructed me to pull out the owners manual and look up on how to override the key fob. I will not do business with them again. I purchase both Traverse and Equinox and had a good sales experience. Service is terrible. Dont call for help - they wont help!
Irving is great to work with. Courteous, professional and listens.
Bought a truck from them 5 months ago and called to see if I could get an oil change. They said it would be free of charge for my first time. When I arrived they said that my free service had been used by the previous owner and they would not honor what they had said over the phone. Total waste of time, would not recommend.
