Such nice, friendly staff. Super clean too. I check out a few international type food markets while I was visiting Oregon and this one was one of my favorites. The wine and Sake selection was nice and the prices seemed reasonable.

Lots of selection and fresh seafood plus a good selection of vegetables and fruits. Parking is not a problem. Staff is not as friendly.

One of my favorite Asian markets! After visiting this location for the first time last month Ive been back several times. They have fresh produce, an excellent selection of all goods, and competitive prices. Parking shouldnt ever be a problem here as theyre located inside an outdoor mall.

I hate leaving a negative review for this store because their selection is expansive and their employees helpful. However, after shopping there a week ago, I came to find that at least *five* of my purchased products were expired (by months--one by almost a year!). Unfortunately, I threw my receipt away so I was unable to go back to return the items. Whenever Id shopped there before, Id not had issues, but its been a few months since then, and maybe products arent being rotated as theyre supposed to be. Regardless, I dont plan on shopping there again... or if I do, Ill definitely be checking every items expiration date!

Great selection of Asian groceries, produce and snacks! I found Asian Family Market to be well stocked with lots of variety of each product type, clean, organized and easy to navigate, service was also great despite speech barrier with some associates who were still very helpful and friendly! Would be even better if they had a grab n go selection or deli & bakery counter, nonetheless its a great store in a convenient location!

From the range of ofal cuts to the imported fish this is just the beginning at this untapped food mecca.Coming here for my fresh fish for the week and unique produce needs has become a weekly ritual for myself and my sweet tushed girl.

Amazing food selection and meat/fish variety.One of the only places I can find mooncakes without costing an arm and a leg to buy a ton in advance.Only reasons I didnt give it 5 stars is the overwhelming fish smell near the entrance when we went there and the lack of walking space. Very limited room in the aisles so even if its not very busy, it feels really awkward to try to walk around especially when theres often barely any space to get around someone in the same aisle.

Your one stop hot-pot shop! Thats actually just 1% of the items they carry but thats primarily why we shop here. Most items dont have english print so be ready to take some chances and live a little. We bought the hot-pot appliance there too.

The staff is so kind and nice to talk to.Lots of unique brands to pick and choose from.My fiance and I cant read much of whats in there and because we dont have any food allergies we will randomly pick dinner and see how it tastes. For the most part, weve enjoyed everything we have purchased from there. And its a fun little date experiment.

So much to choose from! They have a great variety of seafood at very good prices. I also took a venture down their instant noodles and found a brand I havent seen in years! They also have an amazing selection of tea! Which was why I went in the first place but bought far more than planned!

Ive been searching for a local fish monger for 2 years now, and this place is it. Huge display of live and freshly-live fish and seafood, including some creative bounty such as eel.Phenomenal offal section - the best Ive seen in the PNW.Great produce section, with inexpensive citrus and ample greens.This spot really cant be beat.

Very good place to shop while waiting for a bus or train at Beaverton transit center. Always quality fresh fruit and variety of exotic foods. I go there quite a bit and every time try something new and exciting.

We love this place and visit often. Huge produce and meat/fish section. I can get all the Asian sauce and condiments I am looking for to cook with. Noodles, dumplings, mochi, drinks, candy, crackers, cookies. We always bring home lots of goodies to enjoy.

Great market with an assortment of produce, spices, teas, meat, snacks, desserts, and other goods sourced from places around the world. I prefer shopping here over Fred Meyer or other large chains because I always feel inspired to learn to cook new foods or find new recipes based on the foods I find here. Persian cucumbers? Star Anise? Deliciously seasoned rice crackers? Mexican papaya? Plantains? Sweetened Tamarind?I love that this market makes certain foods accessible, and at a reasonable price! Its further out from home than I would like, but its always worth the drive (and the Portland traffic)!

This is what I get from the freezer next to the cashier at this market. Its the 3 color dessert. Ive been to this market so many times and this is the first time I got something that had mold on it. It wasnt expired yet according to the sticker on the cup.

It might because of the weather was too hot and their air conditioner didnt work for a week. The store was dark and warm. The staff in there still worked hard to help the customers. Thank you. Hope everything will better soon.

Great variety of products,clean and organized, the only thing is that is challenging to get help .They should have their employees with a company t-shirt, vest or something.

One of the only places I have felt confident shopping at throughout the entire pandemic. The meat and fish department has been especially good and I recommend them whole heartedly.

This place has the best variety of all the places in Beaverton/Hillsboro (especially snacks/candy). The prices on produce are also excellent. I always come here first, and then hit the other places for clean up on my grocery list.

This little gem of a market has the fruits and vegetables that I cant find elsewhere, like fresh tumeric, and quite often I find something new to try as well. They have an excellent selection of bulk teas, including some that work great for brewing kombucha or for a big batch of iced tea. Also a great range of seasonings, grains and flours, sauces, and noodles.

Usually go here for my meat. The freezers were down and they marked down meat that I think should have been disposed of. However overall I still go there because its usually a great experience

This place had plenty of meat selections for our last minute Korean BBQ evening and the marinades we found were delicious! The vegetables were nice and fresh and also delicious. Only we were looking for but didnt find were paper plates!

Low prices, especially on fresh vegetables and fruits. Large selection of products, Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc. Meat dept is also impressive. I have had issues with getting help while shopping, as the workers I dealt with did not speak English. I was impressed with one of them who went and found someone who was able to help me.Customer service at check out is very unemotional, which is probably cultural.I shop here frequently, I have shopped other Asian markets and for value and selection they are the clear winner.

Great little Chinese oriented Asian grocery store. Excellent selection of dry goods, especially sauces and dry noodles and packaged ramens. I was impressed to find Chongqing style noodle packets. Good fresh seafood selection and a very nice frozen section with prepared and other foods. Overall, a well stocked East Asian grocery store. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful.

I generally love coming to Asian food market but I did found out one of the grocery I got expired. What’s even more upsetting is hearing those ladies especially the older ones (cashier) gossiping about others in Chinese while they are working.

Very polite and helpful staff members. I was looking for a live Maine lobsters and the gentleman checked it out for me told me how many were available and the price and was very pleasant.

This is one of the best if not the best Asian Market in the metro. Their produce is clean. Meat is fresh and the fish is live. There are many treasures to be found in the frozen food aisle.

Perhaps not the most famous Asian grocery store in the area but the butchers, the cashiers, and the clientele are all friendly. The selection of items is also as good as more famous Asian grocery stores.

It is our regular store for Asian groceries. It is aconsistently affordable asian store with several fruits at rockbottom prices and a good variety of meat and fish. We specificaly go there to get curry leaves, banana leaves, fish belly/heads and big packets of frozen sardines at low prices.

This place really is an amazing place. If you are looking for some authentic chinese food, vegetables or any other ingredients, this is your place. I personally liked the fish section, where you have all sorts of fish which are fresh and not frozen or mass production packaged ones.

Staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable. It has quite a bit more selection as I was expecting. Vegetables were somewhat fresh but not as fresh as your local Safeway. 99 has better selection but this market has what I needed. Unless I’m looking fo something specific that only uwajimaya or 99 has I’ll probably end up here since it’s less of a track from Portland.

Cheaper than other locations on most stuff. Prices are reasonable and the fish/meat has always been good. This is a weekly stop for us when we do a lot of our shopping. They do have a lot of produce from China which we tend to avoid. I stick to buying produce from the USA or this side of the world only. Same goes with the fish, I try and be very careful on the country of origin.Try the fresh fish! Great assortment of asian snacks and noodles too.

Like Uwajimaya, the Asian Family Market has an excellent selection of asian staples. I feel like the prices here are a bit more competitive, though the selection is slightly smaller (and, of course, no Kinokuniya!) Overall a very solid place to shop; tidy and well-run.

My friend accidentally broke something and she was more concerned for my friends well being, she didnt charge us anything for the accident we have made there. This Asian Food Center is conveniently located near the Beaverton Transit Center.It used to be pretty good, with a wide selection of fresh produce, dried goods, and various Asian food. However, recently quality has gone done and prices have gone up.The leafy greens and fruit look wilted, bruised, are either overripe or still green, and often look more like a compost bin than a produce stand.The shelves have also become a lot more empty. There are empty sections in many of the aisles, which does not seem to be a good sign for a food center.The price you pay is definitely not justified by the quality. I’d recommend that you go to another Asian grocer if you’re getting groceries. You’ll get a better price, a larger selection, fresher, and better quality food.A word of caution, CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES. A lot of their food is expired but they don’t remove it from their shelves.EDIT: Here is an example of what I was talking about. Their frozen food was more than two months past the best by date. The few dollars wasn’t worth the hassle of trying to return it and it was still somewhat edible (it was just really mushy). However, this isn’t Grocery Outlet. The Asian Food Center is still charging regular prices at their store for subpar products.
